xxBrOkEnxx answered Saturday November 5 2005, 8:47 pm: my cousin broke her collar bone because she fell off and the horse kind of stomped on her but they still let her ride...i would just tell them and they should understand that this is your passion and you love it..just convince them that you really want to ride [ xxBrOkEnxx's advice column | Ask xxBrOkEnxx A Question ]
FunnyCide answered Saturday November 5 2005, 4:23 pm: You don't have to tell them if you don't want to. My parents have seen me fall so many times it's not even funny. Whenever I fall, they just are like "eh, get back on." Haha. Yeah, they'd probably be more angry now that you didn't tell them as soon as it happened. It was good that you just hopped right back on instead of whining about it and going crying to Mommy. I chipped a tooth once by falling off a horse. : And bruised my ankle bone.. whoa, and pulled ligiments in my knee... But who cares? I LOVE IT!!!! And I love you!!! Just because you like to ride. :)
Some parents would freak out if their child fell off a horse and they wouldn't let them ride again. If your parents are like that, then don't tell them. As long as you weren't hurt, it's okay. But if you are hurt IN ANY WAY WHATSOEVER, tell them immediately.

myusername1 answered Saturday November 5 2005, 11:02 am: You sound just like me. Im 13 too and i ride horses too! thats cool so anyways, the first time i fell off, it was a shock to me but i went home and told my parents anyway. they were very scared for me but i told them taht it was all a part of riding. i told them that i will be very careful and about how much i love riding and to please not take that away from me! i think you should tell your parents. i really think they should understand because even though my parents didnt like it either, they came to except it as a fact of life. Now, ive been riding for 4 years and have fallen off all over the place and its no big deal so thats what i try to make my parents think too. But im ALWAYS careful good luck with that and keep me posted :) [ myusername1's advice column | Ask myusername1 A Question ]

As long as you didnt get hurt your parents shouldnt mind as bad. Just tell them that you have learned your lesson and that you will always ask for their permission!
