Hey, I really want to get my ears double pierced but I'm really scared it'll hurt and I'll cry lol. I was about 7ish when I got them pierced for the first time and I cired. And my friend says it doesn't hurt, pintching your ear hurts more then piercing it. So basically does it hurt??

It all depends on your personal threshold of pain. Getting your ear double pierced doesn't hurt much more than getting your ear pierced for the first time. If you go someplace that uses a piercing gun, the pain is relativly minor. If the place you go to uses a needle, it might hurt a little more, but still not that much. I pierced my own ears and it wasn't that bad. It only hurts for a few seconds.

My cheer squad is putting together an appreciation type party for our football players as the get ready for the season.
At this thing, we want to show a football movie. We have it narrowed down to Remember the Titans and Friday Night Lights. We think they're both one of the best football movies out there (well... besides Rudy, of course) but we can't decide on one.
Which would y'all choose? If you answer, we'd really like a reason why as well!
Also, we really just and one of those two, nothing else, and we can't show both. Thanks

I would have to say Remember the Titans is a great thing to show because it deals a lot with the guys coming together as a team. I believe that's what the last person who wrote said, and I definatly agree. If you absolutly can't decide, just flip a coin. Or you could always show Water Boy. Most guys like Adam Sandler, and it would definatly make the party more lighthearted.

Our school is going on an 8th grade field trip to Cedar Point on monday. My friend sally is TERRIFIED of them. She says she will give it a chance but she ahsnt been on one at all in her life, her parents and family have all tried to get her on one and she refuses. I try and try and try, she says she will try to go on one. I don't know what esle to do anymore, ROLLERCOASTERS ROCK!! but i can't seem to get it through her head!! HELP (link)

Not everyone enjoys roller coasters, so I wouldn't try to push them on her. Probably, if she goes on the trip and sees how much fun everyone else is having, she'll probably want to see what she's missing out on. I've never been to Cedar Point, but at amusement parks there are ususally some tamer rides and all kinds of games to play... so at least she can have some fun there.

I invited my friend to go to Santa Barbara with me but her parents won't let her go until they see her report card.The problem is the report cards don't get mailed until after the trip! HOw can i get my friend to go on the trip now? (link)

Okay, I don't reccomend doing anything dishonest in order to get your friend permission to go on the trip. Making up a fake report card definatly falls under this category. You could always have your friend's parents call her teachers and talk to them about the situation. I'm sure that if they already have grades done they'd be glad to tell her what they are. Her parents could even call the main office at the school and have them read the grades over the phone. If her grades aren't good enough to allow her to go on a trip, I would say to find another friend to go on the trip with or try to reschedule for another time.

I need help really bad. Last weekend I was at a sleepover with me and my 2 other friends. They are my best friends. I was talking to my -ex and he said that he liked my friend...(one of the ones that was sleeping over)They went out for a while and I cried the whole time. She broke up with him because she felt bad ad that she did want this kid to Jepordise our friendship. She is giving me time but I feel inside as I never want them to get back together...Even though I am being selfish. I still love him! We have been off and on for a little. What should I do?

You should try to get over your feelings for this guy and let your friend be with him. I think it was good of her to give you some time to get over him before she went out with him. What you need to do is get out there and start seeing other guys. It'll help you realize that there's no reason to only want to be with this ONE guy when there are tons of other guys who would probably jump at the chance to go out with you.

You probably are working harder at this relationship than he is, but it sounds like he's not completely over his last relationship yet. Just talk to him about it when he's in a good mood. Tell him that you feel like you're not recieving anything from this relationship. If he's serious about dating you he'll try to work harder on making the relationship between you better and less one sided. If he refuses to even acknowledge the problem, you should probably just take your losses and go. There's no reason for you to keep spending your money and investing into a relationship that you don't gain anything from. I don't mean material posessions.. I mean emotional things like common intrests, enjoying being together.. stuff like that...

So there is this kid i like, a lot. we are in the same school, and a couple of the same classes. he and i are both scorpio, and we get along great. we have so much fun together! tonight, i was txting him, and he asked if i thought he should go out with anyone this year, and i said idk, so he said that he would like to go out with his ex, which made me a little jelous. then he told me all about how good he is with parents, and then he said, " who knows. maybe youll see it for yourself some day." so i asked what he ment, and he was like "idk." what do you all think?

I think he's trying to tell you without actually telling you.. that he wants to get with you. I would guess that the comments about his ex were just to see if you would get jealous or defensive about it. The comment about being good with parents is pretty much a sure thing that he's hoping that you two will be a couple sometime in the future.

Bath & Body works has a whole line of spa products that are relativly cheap compared to the stuff that you would buy at a regular salon. Most of these come in blue bottles and are called True Blue Spa. Check out the Bath&Body Works website for more info on those.
If you're giving out gift bags, you could get a cheap pair of flipflops for each of your friends along with a shower sponge (one of those poufy ones) and some body wash and matching body spray.

I NEED YOUR ADVICE!! i am 13 and been wanting to pluck my eyebrows forever! and i secretly have. i have been plucking them with my fingers and sometimes using my moms tweezer. but i just dont know how to ask my mom if i can REALY pluck my eyebrows. and i am afriad she will ask me if i have been using her tweezer and i dont want her to get mad at me. if you pluck your eyebrows, i was just wondering what you asked your mom. i am pretty sure my mom will say yes but i want to know how to say it to her.

I started plucking my eyebrows all on my own. My mom didn't have a problem with it at all. The only thing she told me was that I shouldn't use a razor to remove the unwanted eyebrow hair. I didn't ask her permission or anything to do this. You could always just do it and not talk to her about it, or you could just come right out and say what you need to say about it. Just tell her that you would like to start plucking your eyebrows and were wondering if it was alright with her. In my opinion, if you're old enough to be concerned with that aspect of your appearance, you're old enough to correct it on your own.

I am 16 /F. Last week i visited my girl friend, she told me they are naturalists and celebrate all week ends as a naturalists and they wear nothing at home. So I went their to see and I was astonished to see all of them nude (Dad, mom, my friend, her 12 year old sis and 19 year old bro). Is this kind of thing allowed? Isnt it a kind of incest? (link)

This is not incest as long as there is no sexual activity among the family members. There's nothing wrong with walking around naked in your own house, but if you walk outside naked and someone sees you, they are within their rights to call the police even if you are on your own property. In my opinion, I think they should have had the common courtesy to put on clothes when company was going to be there so that you didn't feel uncomfortable in the situation.

Okay, so I'm having a party for the end of the school year and I want to invite guys. Here;s the problem, the ratio of my close guy friends to close girl friends is about 5:15 or 1:3. Thats'a going to be a realy awakrd gap for the guys because some of them aren't great friends with the others, but I still want to invite the guys. Should I add at the bottom of the invitation, "Invite some of your guy friends, or it will be uneven numbers, but tell me whose coming."? (link)

Just invite all of the people you planned to invite and don't worry about having an uneven number of guys and girls. If they're that insecure about themselves that they can't be polite to each other even if they aren't best friends.. they probably shouldn't be at a party in the first place. If you're looking to invite more people, you could always put something like "feel free to bring a friend" on the bottom of the invite.

Most guys that I've come across prefer the girl not to have lipgloss on because it gets all over their lips when they kiss you. You won't find too many guys that like wearing lipgloss, but they don't want your lips to be dried out and gross looking either. I would reccomend using some chapstick instead of lipgloss.

I met this guy in like beg of october last year at a campground ((family campground)) and we like have so much funn together and we like kissed and well i have been talking to him like online and over myspace ever since and in december he got a girlfriend, and this past weekend we both went camping again, ((he still has the same gf)) and well a few days before she went onto his myspace and was like 'back off he doesnt miss you' and all this shit, so once i got to the campground i tryed avoiding him but him and his friends approached me and my friend and you know he asked if we could like do stuff but keep it from his gf. and i was like yeah. so we like did, and he called me beautiful and told me he loved me more than his gf. and now i like cry everytime i even like think about him because i like him so much, and it scares me.
but i like almost never see him and i dont know how to get over him...
any suggestions?

You should stay away from the campgrounds for awhile I think. If you don't go there, the temptation to mess around with this guy won't be at your fingertips either. Messing around with him when you KNOW that he has a girlfriend that he's been with for a long period of time was a mistake and not a very good decision on your part. If a guy tells you he loves you when he doesn't even see you on a weekly basis, it's a pretty good sign that he's just saying it to get the physical rewards that ususally come along with saying those words. Please, for your sake and his girlfriend's sake.. stay away from him. Even if he breaks up with her to be with you.. remember, if they'll do it with you, they'll do it to you.

Tomorrow is a trip with my friends to a really fun theme park. We've been planning it for a long time, as a celebration of our graduation. Now I'm on my period and I really don't want to have to miss the trip! It was my idea and it's going to be so fun! Mom says I can just avoid water rides and I'll be fine but the water rides are the best part!!! And I usually feel really gross & sick when I'm on my period. Besides, everyone will pressure me to do it & call me no fun if I won't ride them. I'm embarrassed to say "oh I'm on my period" in front of my guy friends. That's nasty. I'd use a tampon but those never work for me. I leak every freakin' time! So I don't know whether I should skip it or go & feel left out & sick. I'm so afraid the day will be diappointing. If you're really uncomfortable wearing tampons you can wear a maxi pad when you're on the regular rides. If you get the extra absorbant ones, they should be alright on the roller coasters and stuff. Just use a tampon if you're going to be in the water and for the water rides. It's not a big deal to just go change it in the bathroom afterwards. You shouldn't leave your tampon in for more than a few hours.

You should just be honest with them about the phone. They'll be less upset with you since you came and told them right away than if you wait awhile and THEN tell them. Since it wasn't anything that you did on purpose they might not even make a huge deal about it.

okay. well for my choir we are singing in an honors program for the 8th graders at my school [ i`m in 7th ]
however, we aren`t wearing our choir uniforms, we have to dress up. not like reeeally dressy, but like something formal.
our rules are;
1. no jeans of any kind
2. no shorts
3. no tennis shoes
4. no t-shirts
5. no flip flops

I would reccomend wearing a nice top, something like a button up blouse and some nice slacks or a skirt (assuming that you're a girl, of course). Target and Payless have cute shoes that you can get to match your outfit for a really reasonable price.

A lot of grandparents are like this. Just because they're old doesn't give them the right to be rude to others. If you don't have to put up with Grandma very often, just take her criticisim with a grain of salt. If you have to put up with her on a daily basis, you should tell her that you don't like it when she makes negative comments about you. If she can't realize that she's being hurtful when she says things like this, it'll be her own fault when none of her grandchildren want to spend time with her.

Hi, I'm 15 and I really want to get a rhinoplasty(nose job) for my sweet 16, which is coming up in a few weeks. My parents are saying that i'm too young and that my nose is fine(typical), but i'm really not comfortable with it. I'm filipino and you know how our noses are;). My question is should i wait until i'm older, or should i get one now? and are there any side effects? and is it possible to be fully sedated when it happens? (link)

I agree with your parents on this one.. everyone's self-consious when they're a teenager. Having plastic surgery is a huge decision. I think you should at least wait until you turn 18. When you're legally an adult your parents can't tell you no, and you'll be in a better position to make the decision at that point.
When having a rhinoplasty, you will be fully sedated. There are side effects with every surgery that you undergo, but the biggest one in this case is probably being unsatisfied with the results after surgery.

You can't tell two days after the unprotected sex is had. In order for an at-home pregnancy test to be effective, you need to wait about a week after your missed period. Follow the directions that come with the box, and it should give you an accurate result.
