Getting my friend to go with me to S.B.
I invited my friend to go to Santa Barbara with me but her parents won't let her go until they see her report card.The problem is the report cards don't get mailed until after the trip! HOw can i get my friend to go on the trip now?

Have her ask her teachers for a printout or letter stating what her grades are. That should do the trick. Good luck!

Even though school is over it is possible to call the office. Ask to see the report card ahead of time, and that you would do anything for it. Explain your situation. If they still don't cooperate then go to the teachers. The is prob. the last thing you want to do but call all of your teachers and ask for her grade!

Talk to her parents about it. Explain to them that report cards don't get mailed until after the trip. IF that doesn't work, invite another friend but do something special just one on one with the friend who couldn't go. Hope this helps!

haha i didnt think wed get answers so soon. although one person wants you to replace me! i feel so unloved. i might be able to make a deal with them. im desprate and will do almost anything so i can go.

Have her parents e-mail or call all the tachers. Or if school is out yet then tell her to ask all the teachers to write down her grade for her.

try to find the numbers to contact her teachers... im sure if you call the school (im asuming your out of school) they could prob give you the numbers to call the teacheres for grades her even give her parents temp grades or whatever

Okay, I don't reccomend doing anything dishonest in order to get your friend permission to go on the trip. Making up a fake report card definatly falls under this category. You could always have your friend's parents call her teachers and talk to them about the situation. I'm sure that if they already have grades done they'd be glad to tell her what they are. Her parents could even call the main office at the school and have them read the grades over the phone. If her grades aren't good enough to allow her to go on a trip, I would say to find another friend to go on the trip with or try to reschedule for another time.

simple...just make one up and when your mom gets one in the mail-well.throw it away befor she gets it...or you can make a deal with her:let her go but if she didnt get good grades, she wont go on a differnet trip this year.

I assume your school doesn't post grades online (if they do, just have her print her grades out). Have her do a "grade check"- that is, have all her teachers write her current grades on a piece of paper and then sign it. Good luck!

That sounds just like my parents! Well all you have to do is say to her parents " This could be her congrats present for passing".

Have her e-mail all her teachers. Print out the emails and give it to her parents, that way they will know her grades. If e-mailing doesn't work, have her parents call the teachers. Hope this helps.
