I have this off + on boyfriend. We always fight & he's kinda one of those 'players' you know. I trust him & everything, but I cant help but worry. He has like 2 different personalities. The 1 where he tells me he loves me + he'll never cheat, etc. + the 1 where he doesn't talk to me for days + talks to other girls(i guess to get me mad?) I don't know if he's gonna cheat on me + he gets mad at me for the smallest things. When I'm with him though, its wonderful. He tells me things that make me wanna stay with him forever & it feels good. When we talk online or on the phone, thats when the fighting starts. Its like he's playing lil boy games with me. Should I cross him off totally or not give up just yet?

I don't think you should give up yet. Say to him "Look, I know you just talk to other girls to make me jealous. You mean a lot to me, but I don't know if I mean a lot to you". If he gets mad, or keeps doing it after you tell him that, then you should end it.

okay, so here's the situation..in 7th grade i used to be how do you say it..the ugly duckling..then in eighth grade my body matured and i was still unhappy with myself..then people started complimenting me and i have had no trouble finding people to do stuff with..not meaning sex but...yah know..i just don't know what to do ..because as much as i want a boyfriend im soo used to my usual thing..i don't know what to do..what if i cheat on that boyfriend..or what..is it like wrong not to have boyfriends..becuase i don't think im ready for a relationship..maybe in time but i mean right now im not gunna settle down ..but is it wrong or what?

No, there's nothing wrong. You just arn't ready for a relationship. You're, what, 14? Don't rush things. If you settle down with one guy too early, you arn't going to be happy. It's fine to date around, but don't just make out with a guy and then never talk to him again, or you will just get a bad reputation, and you will hurt the guy's feelings.

Im not sure if this belongs here...but i think i am underweight. Everyone says i look anerexic and i cant help it. my parents were both skinny. I am 5 feet exactly and weigh 97 pounds. Can somebody give me advice...am i underweight?

No, you probably just have a fast metabolism, so you burn more calories than most people. Bring a big lunch to school once in a while so people will know you arn't anorexic.

I'm sure your mom would rather let you have to pill than to bring a child into the world that you couldn't take care of. Heh, my mom asked me if I wanted birth control when I was 13, so your mom will probably understand. Believe it or not, even if your mom isn't understanding, she assumes that weather you have birth control pills or not, you're still going to have sex. Also, you could always just tell a little tiny lie and say you wanted them so you could skip your period...they do that too. Just say "Hey mom, (insert friend's name here) is having a pool party, and I'm supposed to get my period the day of the party. I was wondering, do you think I could get birth control pills so that I could skip my period that day?"

Also, if she says no, you're making a very smart choice by not having sex.

You shouldn't shave it...it would be really easy to cut your toes with the razor. I would say trim it with scissors (be very careful) or if the hair is dark, squeeze some lemon juice on the hair and it will get lighter.

at what age should you get a boyfriend/girlfriend? what if you are interested in girls and you are a girl.....when should you tell someone?

For a good relationship that will last a while, I would say 14 or 15. Most people are mature enough to balance school, friends, and a relationship by then. Don't rush it.

If you are a girl and you like girls, I wouldn't tell anyone until you are absolutely sure. Most people get a crush on someone the same sex as them at some point in their life, even if they are straight. If you find yourself being attracted to only girls for 6 months to a year, then you should probably tell someone.

Im 13 years old- what do guys my age want?

Sorry to tell you this, but MOST 13 year old boys don't care much about who you are. They can only see what's skin deep. At 13, you're better off not having a boyfriend. Wait until you're 14 or 15, then more will start liking you for who you are.

Occasionaly though, you may meet a 13 year old boy who is more mature than the others, and he will like you for who you are. If you think you know one who is like this, than be funny (I mean make jokes and learn to laugh at yourself, don't be obnoxiously funny) and just be nice. Talk to him, but don't be clingy. Give him space. Try to get along with his friends. Smile at him when you pass him in the hall.

Ok, I have a few random questions.

1. It's my time of month...so my skin is breaking out. And now I'm getting a pimple inside my nose. And it's not just on the edge...it's on up there. Is there anything I can put on it?
2. When I shave (mostly my legs) the very day...they are already fuzzy. I have dark, thick hair... and it seems it grows back within 1 night. I have tried putting lotion...but sometimes I think that makes it grows back worse. Any ideas?
3. I've decided not to shave "down there" but just trim it...how short should i keep it?

1) I break out during my time of the month too. You should just wait until your period is over. When I break out during my period, the pimples usually go away about 2 days after it ends. If it doesn't go away, pop it with tweezers.

2) Try waxing your legs. It only lasts for 2 weeks, but it's better than 1 day. Also, try getting veet. It's spray on hair remover. I heard that it lasts longer than shaving.

3) Put on your bathing suit bottom (or the whole thing if you wear a one piece) and look in the mirror. If you can see any hair, then it's time to trim it again.

In the election coming up, I'm just curious to see who people want to win, and why. I know it's not something I need advice on, but I have to do a current event for World History. Personally, I'm going for Bush and I have several good reasons why.. I was just wondering about everyone else?

Kerry. I think that Bush has done enough damage to the country, and Kerry just seems to have better policies. I figure we should at least give him a chance, because he can't possibly be much worse than Bush. Bush also seems to be too set in his ways. I'm not gay, but I still support gay marriage, but Bush doesn't, and that's just plain out discrimination. He also wants to outlaw abortion, which I am a firm believer in. He just has so many views that I disagree with, that I wouldn't vote for him. Ok, I'm done rambling now.

ABOUT YOUR RESPONSE: I know that the constitution goes by the bible. But this is the 21st century. Not everyone believes in the bible. And, if we did follow the bible exactly, girls wouldn't be able to wear pants.

Be there for her at all times. That means going somewhere with her every weekend, because she's probably used to going out with her boyfriend. Call her a lot. Evejn more than you do now. Don't try to get her back into another relationship right away. Wait about a month, and then introduce her to some guys you think she would be interested in.

when should i look into a boyfriend? i'm 11 now, and i think i'm way too young. whenever i have sex, it will be when i'm married. i will not ever use a condom, because it's against the catholic religion, which i am. so i'll have two kids at the most (maybe). and i will definately be having one child. when should i have a bf? i don't want to go throuhg a break up...should it be when i am old enough to get married, just in casE?

I think that if you want to find your life partner, then you should wait until you are 18. But my advice to you is, date around a bit. Maybe start going out with boys when you are 13 or 14. I'm not saying have sex with them, but if you commit yourself to one person, how will you know they are right for you?

Stop hanging around with people who smoke pot. Try to think of more fun things to do: Go to movies, eat ice cream, skate, anything that will keep you away from it. Blow all your money on something you've been wanting for a long time, like a bike or something really nice like that, so you won't have any money left to buy pot.

I have been doing crunches regularly for a while now and I only see little results of a six pack. Do you know of any other ways I can get a six pack a little bit quicker?

Pilates works great. I do it. It's pretty easy, and it's a short workout. They sell Pilates tapes in lots of places, like Wal Mart and Best Buy.
