Have you tried just casually talking to him? You know, the entire "Hi. Do you like this class? Do you know this person, blah, blah." Try being his friend before sharing your feelings especially if you guys rarely talk.
Guys may get a little creeped out when a random girl confeses she has feelings for them. It would probably boost his ego though if you told him he looked nice today. Like if his jeans looked cool, or his hair looked nice.
Just be confident in yourself, goodluck.

OKay, i wanna kno if there is something wrong with me. All guys i like pass me over for my friends. I'm just as pretty as them but i get ignored, or labed "friend only" and iono y. Is it because i give advice? Is it that i give off the friend only vibe? Try being a little bit more outgoing. Try to make yourself stand out from the crowd, be loud.. but not obnoxious. Flirting is always good. Good for you for wanting to be friends with a guy before dating them - the best thing to do is to arrange one on one friend time with them to try and get to know them even better.
Drop hints, be subtle though. If he responds in a good way then you know something is working out in your favore.

Ah? Another downloading thing ... maybe bearshare? Winmx? I'm not too keen on if they cause a lot of viruses. Before limewire I had winmx for a few years and never had a problem with viruses.

You hit her? My jaw always kind of drops when I hear that kind of thing. I know you don't want to hear this, and Im sure you'll turn around and rate me as a one but if you hit a girl EVER you do not deserve her.
If you really love her and want her back you better make a lot of sacrifices and prove to her that it won't happen again and show her that this is what you want.
Something sweet like a rose a day with a note attached to it telling her one reason why you love her. Do that for a few days, leave it on her car.. doorstep.. window...locker.
You'll really need to sit down and have a nice long conversation about this and get your anger under control.

For my birthday my boyfriend did the most amazing thing. I am in love with the broadway musical Phantom of the Opera and he took me to the city as a suprise thennn took me out to dinner then suprised me with tickets. His birthday is in 2 weeks and Id had an idea but its nothing compared to what he did for me. Now im trying to come up with something to do for him and am in a complete bind! Money isnt an issue, but I dont wanna give him something I wanna do something for him.
I live close enough to New York City that I can do something there, and his birthday is close enough to Halloween that I can also do something related that way.
Some things he likes are

-hockey
-the city
-animals
-amusment parks
etc
some things ive considered are taking him to a New York Rangers hockey game but I cant find amazing tickets for anytime soon
Ive considered taking him back to the city maybe for a different show if I can trick him into telling me 1 he wants to see
and what Im thinking right now is going to six flags for fright fest the saturday before his birthday and getting a hotel that night then go to point pleasent (my favorite boardwalk in NJ) which is very close by, the day after for his bday before driving home. (one problem though is he lives an hr and a half into NY. Id have to drive and a half to pick him up, and hr and a half back into jersey. then 1 1/2 hrs down to six flags then the next day have to drive 1 1/2 hrs back to my house then 1 1/2 hrs back to his. I dont mind but my car may not take it...plus I just turned 18 and hes 19....idk how well my mom would take the whole hotel thing)'

Any car shows that might be going on? A dinner and a car show would be something simple and enjoyable. The six flags idea sounds like a blast but I see your problem.

If you care about her, you need to be there for her. Not run away.
Stay strong for the both of you, tell her you're going to be there for her. When she moves, tell her that you'll try and stay in touch, and that goodbye never means forever.

my girlfriend and I technically arent going out anymore.. but nothin has really changed, like she is my best friend and i still care about her so much and she says that the only reasons she isnt going out with me anymore is because she has some issues with herself that she needs to deal with. i tell her thats alright and that i can wait for her to do it but she keeps trying to insinuate that i like other girls and that i should go out with them. She seems to want me to move on but im not giving up on her ever.. i really dont know if she just doesnt care about me anymore or whether she really does have some stuff she needs to deal with and just wants me to be free to do what i want? The weird thing is that when we are together we act the same as when we were actually going out.. just we talk more now. which is really good because im finding out some things that i never knew. but i dont want to be in a relationship thats not going anywhere.. and she knows how i feel, so why would she tell me that she cares about me, and that she wants the best for me.. but then push me away like this? Becuase she's afraid. At least at what I gather. She probably does have some things to deal with, they could be some really BAD things that she needs help with too. She doesn't want to hurt you so the best thing she can do is push you away and try to get you to date someone else.
Figure out what problems she has and what she needs to deal with, see if you can help her through them. Try not to be too clingy with her, she may need a little bit of space.

I wrote a question yesterday about being accused of something i didn't do.. Hope you guys remember that... Anyways, the principal just told me that I am suspended from the bus for 2 weeks and I have to clean all the stupid busses on Monday. I think that that is child abuse. He blamed me for something I didn't do. I only ripped a tiny bit of the window film.. Thats an unreasonable reason to suspend me. This other guy cut the seatbelts, ripped the air freshener and he's going to do the same thing as me. 2 weeks of suspension and community service.
He also called my parents about it. I'm already through with my mom, but now comes the hard part. My dad. I really don't know what to tell him..

Tell your dad the truth and then sit down and have a talk with your mother and father and get them to talk to the principal. It's unlikely that someone who feels that they are on a higher level then you is going to listen to you about what's fair or not. If your parents get involved though maybe you can get something more reasonable.

I'm a 29 year old mother of three wonderful children. But I have a problem. When I was 28. I was dating this guy for about six months and it was a on againg off again relationship. We both decided that we wheren't going to get married or have children. He already had one and I had two at that time and I wasn't ready to have anymore. So I was on the pill and he didn't use anything. Well about a month later I just couldn't take it anymore and we split up. But he keep trying to get me back but I was with someone else but I still cared for my ex. Well I went to my doctor's for a check up and found out that I was five months pregnant and I know who the father was. So I told him that night and he was so furrious at me and told me that it was my falt and that all I wanted was his money. I told him all I wanted was him in my son's like and mine. But that never happened he wanted me to have abortion or give him up. Not going to happen. He has never seen his son. My son is two right know and will be three in a couple of months. I have married a great guy who has been in my son's life since he was six months old. But he's getting older and I needed some advice on how do I tell my son that the man that he know's as dad is not his real dad and how to explan to him about his real dad and I don't want to picture him as a bad person. I don't know what to do. I hope that you can help.

Dear Heart-broken mother,
My mom also faced the same thing as you did once upon a time ago. She struggled hard to get my real father in my life, but he really didn't want much to do with it.
Even if this man in your life now, is not his REAL dad, you may as well consider him to be. As long as he's being everything a father should be. Childeren don't really understand a lot when they're younger, when they get older it doesn't get easier becuase they still have a lack of understanding.
I'm afraid there is no easy way to say "This is your real father.." It's going to be hard for the both of you, but your son will understand. I understood when my mother told me everything about my dad. If anything, I was hurt that my father was so horrible to my mom. I have no real desire to see that man.
Honesty is the best policy. He'll have a lot of questions and he's going to be very curious. I'd try to make one last effort to get in touch with his real dad and explain to him how you feel once more. You don't want the money, you just want your son to know who his father was.. nothing else.

People have problems reading things they don't want to hear. So they rate you that low. Sometimes people can't handle the blunt and honest opinion of another. As long as you feel that you're doing alright, don't worry about it.

Well as you have guessed i got some bullshit going on and i am fixing to tell a few people off. I dont know who to trust or believe anymore. This one girl me and her used to be the best of friends and then another old friend of mine is back in the picture that i have already told off twice. Well the girl who is my friend i have sit here and not exactly trusted her for a couple of weeks now, and finally she asked if i trusted her and i said to a point and soon as she got the answer...i told her on the phone by the way...it got quiet for a minute and then she said well im going to get off here bye and hung up. So i said to myself ok i aint even going to call her back i will let her make the love she wants to talk then she can call but if not so be it. Another thing is she says everybody usually comes running back to her sometime later on and well me im not one who is going to run back to nobody if they want to talk or whatever they have to run back to me. And this girls friend i aint got nothing against her friend but from the sounds of it her friend dont know how much longer she can take it and i said i understand. And i think my fuse is fixing to blow cause of hearing to much bullshit. They are the only people i really talked to and that why i havent went off on the deep end yet, My question is do you think i should go ahead and tell her and whoever off or wait and see what happens? I'd tell them off, but do it in a civil manner. Try to be the bigger person in the conversation. They just can't keep walking all over you, you don't have to take that. Let them run back to you, but be like "Look, I'm not dealing with all this BS anymore if we're going to be friends."

I'd tell your dad straight up. Funny enough I'm going through the same thing - not as far as being kicked out - but my mom keeps choosing my step dad over me. It's getting tiring, and Im about ready to snap and have some words with the both of them. Maybe that will open their eyes a little.
Hopefully you have someplace to go. It's alright that you've postponed college, you have your entire life to do that.

Try biting your tongue hard. Now imagine a needle going through it. My cousin had her's pierced.. I think she said that they numbed it a little. For a while she talked funny and really couldn't eat a lot of foods.

For anything little and cell phone like it's going to get even more expensive. Unfortunatly for all the nice add ons you'll end up paying more. I think T-mobile may have a pay as you go plan that MIGHT include internet access so you can get on AIM and such.
I'm with US Cellular. I get 1,000 anytime minutes, free nights and weekends, plus all that fun internet stuff.. it's about 60.00 bucks.

Odd question, but an opinion would be nice if you have one to offer.
I'm 18, my boyfriend near 20. He recently moved into his own apartment (instead of doing the whole roommate thing). He insists he needs artwork for his new place. I suggest we scan some art galleries and art shops for some nice pieces, but he says he REALLY wants me to color him a picture (using crayons and a coloring book). Perhaps it might sound a bit immature, but I truly don't see it that way. I just find it to be a thoughtful and innocent way of showing some affection. Can you place yourself in my shoes there and make sense of that??
Anyhow, so I'm doing what he wants. I have a coloring book and colored pencils. If this is any help... it's a squirrel (which takes up the entire page), and he's holding a large peanut. Now, my question is this: when coloring a coloring book with COLORED PENCILS, do you think it's best to GO OVER the lines to make them stand out more, or should I just color them as is, and not bring out the lines?
Sorry to be so random. It's just been so long since I've colored.. I might have forgotten 'how to', if that makes sense?

I'd probably do it for my boyfriend. Taking a coloring book and some colored pencils is a lot cheaper than going out and buying art pieces.
Anyway.. as for the coloring? Ah. Personally I'd go over the lines making them darker and stand out more. I'm not really an artsy person so I can't offer much on the subject.
