Unreasonalble suspension I wrote a question yesterday about being accused of something i didn't do.. Hope you guys remember that... Anyways, the principal just told me that I am suspended from the bus for 2 weeks and I have to clean all the stupid busses on Monday. I think that that is child abuse. He blamed me for something I didn't do. I only ripped a tiny bit of the window film.. Thats an unreasonable reason to suspend me. This other guy cut the seatbelts, ripped the air freshener and he's going to do the same thing as me. 2 weeks of suspension and community service.
He also called my parents about it. I'm already through with my mom, but now comes the hard part. My dad. I really don't know what to tell him..
What should I say to my dad and tell the principle it's a stupid reason to suspend me??

Tell your dad the truth and then sit down and have a talk with your mother and father and get them to talk to the principal. It's unlikely that someone who feels that they are on a higher level then you is going to listen to you about what's fair or not. If your parents get involved though maybe you can get something more reasonable.
I agree, your punishment is bogus. ]
That is not child abuse. You only want to think that because you got in trouble. The reason you both got it, is because he couldn't really give one of you less punishment when you were both doing stuff. I do NOT think you should tell the principle, and I think you should apologize to your dad and make sure you learn something from this. You need to take responsibility for your actions. ]
People honestly have the most idiotic definitions of child abuse nowadays. Punishing you for what you did by making you do very simple physical labor is *not* child abuse. It's a little bit over the top, but definitely not abuse.
I believe you said yesterday that you HAD done stuff similar to what you say this guy's done before. Did you get punished for that? If not, maybe your principal is finally getting you for your past crimes.
Get your act together and stop vandalizing your school's equipment. It'll save you a whole lot of trouble and time if you'll just stop it all together right now.
Tell your dad what you did--no need to lie to him about it.
And ask your principal for a lighter sentence--maybe just clean all of the buses without any out-of-school suspension. Be calm and reasonable when you ask. Maybe he'll lighten up and cut your time.
Remember--you're going to be associated with the people you hang around. Don't hang around people that might get you in trouble.
Take it or leave it, but there's my advice. ]
Try and tell your father the truth and keep eye contact because it is very important that you do.Tell him the simple true and express your feelings about this unjust punishment and ask him if he could challenge the principals decision. Just try and talk to him. Just try and try harder to make him believe you . ]
just tell him what you just explain, that you got supended for 2 weeks and explain what you did and just explain everything you said in the first paragrah.
