I have a cingular family plan and i have a Samsung X427M and I only pay 34 dollars a month. I have 1000 minutes, 1000 text messages, and AIM on my phone. It's a really good deal and the phone is super cute. For more information go to www.cingular.com

Hey,
I suggest that you go and get a prepaid phone from Wal-mart. Those are really good phones. They look like nokias and most of them have free texting and maybe they have aol instant messenger on them, but in order to use your prepaid phone you have to pay a minutes card from Wal-mart and each time you run out of minutes you have to go get a minute card.

Good Luck,
Advicegodesses2

P.S.I hope my advice helps you please write me back and tell me how it went.

For anything little and cell phone like it's going to get even more expensive. Unfortunatly for all the nice add ons you'll end up paying more. I think T-mobile may have a pay as you go plan that MIGHT include internet access so you can get on AIM and such.

I'm with US Cellular. I get 1,000 anytime minutes, free nights and weekends, plus all that fun internet stuff.. it's about 60.00 bucks.

I'm 18 years old.. and I just recently got my own cell phone.. before I was on a plan with my parents... My cell phone is a Audiovox camera phone... But it doesnt have aim or anything on it.... With that stuff on your phone... your bills will be higher... and it also depends on what plan you get is how high your bill will be.. I share a plan with my boyfriend.. and our first bill was $232... that was for 2 months.. plus activation and stuff.. but now.. Our monthly bill will be roughly about $125... but if we go over out minutes it will be higher... So think hard... Have you ever had a cell phone before??? You can go right to like walmart and get a virgin mobile phone.. and you buy the minutes for it.... depending on how many minutes you want... Is how much you have to pay.. but you have to put minutes on a virgin mobile more frequently then I guess on a regualar phone.... hope this helps...

Jackie

I spend $40 a month for 400 minutes and 100 text messages. Aim usually costs a bit more, with Sprint you pay $15 a month for internet and all that stuff comes with it. The closest thing to a cell phone and a lap top are those PDA's that are cell phones, but unless you're organizing all your big business meetings, there isn't really a point to them.
