I'd tell your dad straight up. Funny enough I'm going through the same thing - not as far as being kicked out - but my mom keeps choosing my step dad over me. It's getting tiring, and Im about ready to snap and have some words with the both of them. Maybe that will open their eyes a little.

Hopefully you have someplace to go. It's alright that you've postponed college, you have your entire life to do that.

Goodluck.

My stepmother also kicked me out of my fathers house when I was 19. I didn't communicate with her for a couple of years, finally we talked about it and she apologised. Your stepmom is probably threatened by you, by the unconditional love your father has for you.Your dad does not love you less because he has 'chosen' her. The best thing you can do take this as an opportunity to be independent-Enjoy your year off from school. If you go to college when your not ready you waste the opportunity.

You decided not to go on with your future and you're upset that your parents didn't like it? One of my guidelines to staying at home was to be in school, so just go to school. It's not hard.
