... Now, as for patenting this I can tell you from experience that a patent search is a long and expensive process. It isn't something you typically have success doing on your own.

Trying to patent something AND make money from said patent has been a one-way trip to the looney-bin for many people before either of us ever thought of patenting something.
If you try to patent something, and you manage to escape dead broke and homeless... but still have your sanity, you should count yourself blessed.
There is this tremendous mythology built up around the way the patent system works... and while the system might have been very workable for the industrial revolution, those days are all but gone.
Here is a VERY short version of how it usually goes: You spend $6,000-30,000 for lawyers to do a patent search. Bonus! Your idea probably isn't already patented or too close to something with an existing patent to make a legal case for the uniqueness of your item.
Great! So you file a patent application.
Your application is looked at by many thousands of people who do nothing but steal ideas from said applications.
Here is where the trouble starts: You get your patent after say, a year... and you get a truckload of them manufactured.
You go to sell them and find that Mega-CompanyXYZ already has your product in stores. They have had them in the stores months before your patent was granted.
Maybe they changed one small thing, and filed another patent claiming it as unique, but usually they just use it as is. Why?
Ok, so you file a patent infringement lawsuit. Mega-Co has an entire legal department that does nothing but this. You, if you are lucky, will find one lawyer willing to take your case.
Usually the lawyer will carry you along until you have spent everything you have and sold your home to continue paying his fees. When you run out of money, the lawyer drops the case. Mega-Co can keep one lawyer busy with paperwork for several years.
If Mega-Co is off-shore from your country, your lawsuit is no less than 1000 times less likely to see success.
If I was going to try to wade through the patent process again, I would NOT even begin to think about it without $100,000 in cash in my hands. No way. The only way to win that game is either not to play or to hire the biggest, baddest patent lawyer you can find. That $100,000 would be gone in a month, tops.
I looked into the product cycle for new-years novelty sunglasses, and found that the products will be in the hands of the middlemen by November. This doesn't give you much time to make a play for next year.
I have seen designs for them already, and I don't know if you have something they aren't already doing or not.
If you do, I would set myself a price that I wanted for my idea, and approach a manufacturer.
The odds of you winning on this are pretty slim, you should know that going into it.
I don't want to discourage you, but the reality is that an off-shore company that makes novelty glasses can take your idea, fold up shop and open under a new name in a matter of days. They probably wouldn't bother because they know the odds of you winning a lawsuit against them is practically zero.
If you offer it to several companies, here is what will happen: You will never hear back from them, and you will see your idea on shelves probably next year. If you protest, they simply say they never heard of you.
If you can find a novelty manufacturer in the USA, if you live here, and you are willing to meet with them at their offices... AND they are willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement before seeing your idea... you MIGHT have a chance.
Only, and I mean ONLY pursue this if you are certain that your idea isn't in the manufacturing pipe already. Why? If the US maker runs with your idea, and someone else has rights to it already, you are both in jeopardy of being sued.
I am NOT a lawyer, by any means, and I strongly suggest that if you read the article, then hopefully the book... and still want to proceed that you spend the money to go over your idea with a lawyer.
Before you do that, you can save yourself some grief by reading that material I mentioned a few times now.

I looked for an answer fot you, but I found that it can be different from park to park. What works at one Six Flags park might not work at the others. I couldn't find any specific reference to this with the great adventure park.
Really the only thing to do is get ahold of someone there and find out from the park people themselves.
I put contact (phone number and address) info here for all the parks just in case you are planning to take trips to the other ones. If I had a playpass, I would. :-)

Well, I've done it again - under estimated how much sun I was really getting today. I thought I was mostly in the shade, but when I got home tonight, I realized I got another bad sunburn. (Even with sunscreen, though I didn't reapply it as often as I should have).
In the past, I've tried aloe gel, tea baths, yogurt, lotion, and honey. They soothe momentarily, but don't last and don't really help the healing process. I'm currently using BananaBoat Aloe After Sun Lotion, but I've got so much on and I'm so burned, the lotion refuses to rub in anymore, so its just kind of sitting on my arms/shoulders/back.
Does anyone have any home remedies or products that can help soothe sunburns, and make them heal quicker? Also, is there anything I can use on my face? My forehead burned pretty badly, but everything I've ever used on my face before just burned and made me break out. Breaking out with a sunburn is certianly not fun.
I'd really like a "Miracle Breakthrough in Sunburn Healing technology" if at all possible! I would love to find something that soothes and speeds up the healing process.

Edit: As per your question in feedback: Yes Noxzema is for sale just about everywhere at least in the USA. I have been working in "middle of noplace" North Dakota and even the mom-n-pop drugstore in a town of 200 people has it.
If you are in a city with any kind of drug store, they will have it. Last time I bought it I bought a two-pack of the large containers at Walmart.
If you don't mind, would you write me a new feedback when you get it and try it? I would like the "oooo ahhhh" reaction. :-) The first words you will have when you put it on are likely to be: "Why on Earth did nobody tell me about this?!"
Trust me: Putting Noxzema on a fully reddened sunburn is what I imagine heaven feeling like.
Last tips: Do NOT buy the pump bottle. The liquid one doesn't work as well. Buy big containers and put it on thick. Don't worry about rubbing it all in, just get it on there.

For instant pain relief and moisturizing I don't know anything that tops Noxzema (get the tub, not the pump bottle) have someone rub it on thick... thick like you are trying to hide yourself behind a wall of Noxzema.
It feels delightful. When it comes time to remove the leftovers, hop in the cool shower.
For actual curative stuff, I don't know that anything beats aloe vera. The problem is that if you want real help, you need REAL aloe.
The only thing that should be in it is raw aloe, and maybe one preservative.
Your local healthfood store probably has raw aloe.
Buy the big size and don't be shy with it. It isn't very expensive.
Many people think aloe doesn't work for sunburn because they used a crappy lotion that had only a small percentage of aloe. Most have more alcohol than aloe! Not something you want on a sunburn.
Enjoy the iced wonder that is Noxzema on a sunburn, and I hope you heal really soon.
P.S. Please remember this next time you are tempted to be out in the sun like this. Oh, and read up on sunscreens. Most are bogus.

My commpressor in my 2001 taurus runs fine and the coolant levels are good, but no cold air. I recently stoped the compressors cycling problem after a mechanic actually plugged in the power and control plug incorrectly and almost bent off a terminal, and i also jumpe the cycling switch once which lso helped fix my compressor which is running good now. Any idea why my air still isn't getting cold? (link)

Hi there,
When you say coolant levels, are you meaning engine coolant? The AC system uses a special refrigerant which, if low, can cause the compressor to fail in addition to not providing any cold air.
Another thing: Just because the compressor is turning, doesn't mean that it is doing anything. If a seal/valve is missing/worn/bent then no cold air for you.
Don't forget to have the condenser checked while you are at it. AC service inspection is usually pretty inexpensive if you don't need any major parts. If you don't have the tools to test refrigerant flow dynamics and pressure levels, then perhaps a trip to a shop that does would be in your car's best interest. :-)
