Haha. Matrices are so hard. Here's an easier way. (I've done this exact problem before.

Pick two of the equations.

For clarity's sake the top one is one the middle is 2 and the bottom is 3

{ x + y + z = -4
{2x - y + 3z = 1
{3x + 2y - z = 4

I'll pick the top two.

Then add them together (or subtract)

2x+x=3x.

The y's cancel out. The z's =4z and -4+1=-3.

3x+4z=-3.

Now, pick a different pair of equations. One is going to be one you used before. We are going to try to eliminate the y value.

I'm using equations 2 and 3, and adding them. I'm going to rewrite it and multiple by 2 for equation 2. This gives me:

2(2x-y+3z)=(1)2

Distribute.

4x-2y+6z=2.

Add this to equation 3.

7x (y's cancel) +5z=2.

Now we do the same for our solutions.

3x+4z=3
7x+5z=2

As dumb as this may sound, I didn't actually realize how horrible it is, when you eat chicken & hamburgers. I didn't actually understand the concept that for me to eat a hamburger, is for an innocent cow to just die. My friend sent me an e-mail with a video about fur trade in China, and how dogs & cats are skinned and killed everyday just for fur. But, it got me to thinking how horrible that actually is. I really have been thinking about it today, and I think just eating hamburgers & chicken is disgusting especially knowing that an animal died for that. I'm really considering turning into a vegetarian. Do you believe that this is a good enough reason to want to turn vegetarian? Thanks so much. ♥

I think that this means that people shouldn't be lazy and hog the government's money. If they don't need unemployment, then they shouldn't take it etc. More people shoudl volunteer to do things in governmental facilities Like police should rotate through a cycle where it's like 9 months police 3 months jail 1 month something else. My sister is 11 and in 6th grade. She weighs like 89 pounds. She is about 4 11. She cares about her weight a lot. She thinks shes fat but I've seen her friends and they say she nots and her stomach isnt that big at all. She is also muscular. Like she is a fast runner and she is strong. So do you think she is heavy for her age?? And do you know any ways that she could lose weighgt??

I weighed less at her age and was a little shorter. That's about what I weigh now, and I'm almost 14. Losing weight is a terrible idea.

My mom is starting to get REDICULOUS. First off, a couple weeks ago, I stayed home from school because I was sick. She grounded me for 4-5 days. Then on wednesday, I came home from school 1 1/2 hours early because my back hurt and I was practically in tears and then on the way home she told me I was grounded for the weekend for coming home early. Does anyone else find this rediculous? I was supposed to go to a dance tonight but then she told me no because I came home early on Wednesday and said I was faking and it was only "period cramps" even though I have my period at the end of the month. Can someone please tell me something to do?? I'm starting to get depressed because I can never do anything anymore.

A Bar Mitzvah is a cermeony. My Bat-Mitzvah (same thing) was very formal, and I wore a prom dress. Ask him. He will be wearing a uit. You are safest with a cocktail or casual/formal dress. As a present, I say $ is best, but give it in multiples of 18, because the number 18 in Hebrew means life. This is kinda like 69 meaning...yeah.

Good luckk, and he's shelling out the big bucks for this, so help to make it special!

I'm writing an essay on who inspires me and I'm doing my grandma when i said "grandma" in the essay would it be capital? For example My grandma...Captil or not?

Just Grandma? Capitalized. My grandma? Lower case. This is because Grandma is her name just as is Mary or Sue. My grandma, for example, is lower case because you wouldn't say," My Sue brought me cookies!". You would say Sue, which would be capitalized.

heyy well heres the thing .. i'm getting old and i haven't started to shave my legs yet. with winter coming up i can wear long pants but in gym, we have to change into uniforms that are shorts. all the popular and good looking guys are in my gym class and i don't want them to get any wrong impressions .. i want to bring this up with my mom but it really gets uncomfortable talking about puberty and such .. i really need some help! thanks ahead of time !

Well, I adore singing.. to me.. it's a way of life. I do it 24-7.

I don't really know if I could ever do it infront of anyone other than myself! I'm so affraid that I will mess up, or people will hate my voice. Personally? I love my voice... but they always say, "Sometimes, you hear what you want to hear, not what is heard by others." I don't know what to do. In a few months.. I'll be moving to Tennessee to live with my Father. He says that Nashville is a land of opertunity for me. (he and my step-mother are the only ones I've ever sang infront of) Well, my Step-Mother, is persuing her singing career. And I'm SO happy for her. She has the prettiest voice.. EVER I'm not sure what to do..

Anyone have good advice for me?

If your stepmom has the prettiest voice ever, then the chances of her having a good ear are also high. It seems like you ned to builld up your confidence. I was that way, but I had a Bat-Mitzvah (long story short: I sang loads) and all of my friends said that I had a really great, on-pitch voice. See if you can sing at your house of worship, be it church, temple, mosque, whatever. After my Bat-Mitzvah, I have been asked to sing at other temple funtions, one of which is tomorrow!
