Q: hey i have a problem with cutting. i have cut for about a year and i really want to stop but now i think its to late cuz it seems i cant even make it more then a week without starting to cut again i dont really have anyone to go to and i dont no what to do if u could help me it would be greatly appreciated thanx much

Cutting is something big. And i am sure its hard to stop.. because its something serious. And serious things are hard to stop. I heard that "as long as you go arcoss the street instead of down the road its o0ok." Thats something that needs to be stopped. I would get adult help. It might be hard to even bring up to a adult.. but you would get help in the long run. Or at least talk to someone about it im glad you are asking someone for help. The first step to helping yourself is actually getting help. I would talk to your mom or dad.. I would go to my mom because im closer to her then my dad. Or maybe if you have a cousin who is older you could talk to him or her. But just make sure you get help. You can always get help no matter what. There are alot of cutters out there that have been helped. Just know that things might seem like they are worth cutting over but they really arent. Thats why you ask people for help on your problems instead of trying to solve them with cutting. But whatever it is that you cut yourself with like a knife.. pocketknife.. or whatever through it out and try not to give in! Also.. what made you decide to do it? If its something a cousalar could help with then so be it. Do whatever you can to help!! Hope I helped-trix

Well if you go into a mental hospital volentarily you can leave whenever you want. but idk if that applies for kids our age. But maybe you should hang out with some friends and get it off your mind for the night then tell your parents-trix

They'd be like 'Oh cute shirt, where'd you get it?' and then I would be like 'Abercrombie' and then they'd tell me that they weren't allowed to shop there. I would just have him describe himself and what he is gunna wear and look for what he will be wearing and just wear a sweatshirt over what you said you were going to be wearing and look at him and then if he looks decent then go meet him. Well I love that feeling. I must add that. But I would just maybe try and move on. It depends on how old you are though. I have 1 wall banana yellow and the 3 other walls pink. Get a light. A cool one anyways. Ask the wal-mart people if they have the light that is blue, red, yellow, green, and white. Its a really cool light and has 3 diff. settings on it. Get that.. it'll be cool in your room and will help with light. Get a bed canopy and cool pillows. Lil trinkets work well. Put pictures of friends all over. Get a cute rug. Sorry im describing a really girly room im doing my room. I hope i helped though!!-trixxy
