My closest friend has become my greatest enemy.
She betrayed me by lying to my face.
By trying to get me to believe a lie.
By trying to get into the middle of my relationship and then lying about it.
Instead of her listening and trying to help me with my problems.
All she did in return was use everything to get revenge on me.
For some thing that wasn’t even true.

sounds a lot more like a complaint than a poem. Try using different poetic devices to give it that poetic feeling.

This is not so much a request for advice as an asking for feedback on a random gripe...
I've only recently noticed, after years of what seems now to have been denial, that most everyone loves being unhappy, simply because it is the easiest and most familiar way to exist. After several attempts at being a good friend to many people, it is apparent that my helpful thoughts are shunned, and my existence ignored should they find any reason to be angry at the world. After speaking with a close friend of mine on this subject, their reply to my disgust was 'No Shit, people hate the truth and happiness, because they know that these things are better than what they have always had, and will most probably ever have.’
This upsets me greatly, because it has always been my policy of sorts to tell the truth and be as helpful as possible...Though I noticed as a child that even my mother gave me strange looks for this.
My question is: has anyone else recieved hatred in return for honest attempts at being helpful, or something similar?
I feel as though I've been blindsided by this concept, it is extremely confusing.

ok i met this boy nick like in the middle of the skool year...and i hated him soo much...he was going out with my friend....and i dont know i just hated him...then one day i went skating and he was there and i started liking him...well a week later he asked me out and we were goin out for like a month then we broke up...we were on and off all year...well then a month before skool let out he moved....it was the hardest day of my life saying goodbye to him....he was my first love ever and thats the truth.....well now he still calls me and everything and we r still friends and he wants to go back out and i love him sooo much and wanna say yah but i cant cuz ill never c him cuz he moved what should i do~!?

I really want to get my eyebrows waxed or plucked or somethin before school starts but i dont know how to ask my mom or when to, i asked her before but that was like a yr ago and she said that i couldnt becuz it costs to much to get them done.. but im 14 now and i really need to do somethin with my eyebrows so i was wondering if u have any ideas on how i could ask her or how i could do them myself at home

okay. well i just moved out into my own apartment and i'd like to get a pet. the problem is i don't know what kind. i'd like something that doesn't require a TON of care, but something that i can also play with..can you help?
Try a cat, totally! Cats like playing with things like string and my cat even likes to play with pen caps. Dogs on the other hand need lots of care and need to be potty trained but cats simply go in the litter box. They're cute, cuddly, and fun. If you do decide to get a cat try getting a male, they're usually much more lovey dovey while females can be a bit sassy, yet still very fun.
i'm 13 and i weigh 126 lbs. i think that's WAY too much for my age. i don't look fat at all but this past year people at school have been saying that i'm really fat. what should i do? what are some good ways to loose weight?
Honey dont you eva let them get you down. Are you tall? If your really are tall you need some extra wieght. Next time people call you fat you stare them down, give them a dirty look, and laugh your ass off at them. What are they trying to do? Hospitilize people ? I mean people get put down way too much nowadays. If your going to diet, dont go crazy, because thats not good for you sweetie. Try cutting fatty foods like candy, ice cream...hmm eat things grilled rather than fried. Its fine if you have one hamburger just dont go for the second one. Eat salads much more frequently. And most of all, take a jog around the block once or twice a day. If you have a tredmill, get onto that a half an hour a day. Follow these guidelines closely, and I promise quick results. Just remember keep your head held up high and eat healthy.

Hi, I am Noni and my family hates my boyfriend. Only because he dresses gothic. I mean, he believes in God though. Anyways, I really like him, and he really likes me. Ok hun.. heres some great things you can do. Maybe, maybe, maybe if your parents would allow you just ask them if you can redo your room. If no good, here are some cool ways to brighten up a boring room:
1. clean, messy rooms are dull, color coordinate your clothes, its so much easier to pick something out to wear plus its really neat.
2. colleauge different articles or pictures from magazines on the walls
3. Get sparkle spray and make your room *sparkly* in the colors you wish :-D
4. Get cool lights like those chinese lamps that hang from the ceilings or something that goes with your room
5. Always have a good cd in the cd player.. (if you have one) it sets a cool mood to your room
6. Have any white christmas lights? Hang them up around your room. It'll look nice and really cool when the lights are off. If you dont have christmas lights you can buy string lights somewhere...theyre really cool and fun

There is this guy I really like, I have liked him for a really long time. There is just one problem, he is sort off out of my league. Is there anything I can do to make him like me more while still being myself? I rate!
YES being yourself is awsome. But if hes one of those guys who arent really nice to girls unless their all that and popular, you should forget him. If hes the kind you could get to know, talk to him, try and flirt with him, see what you have in common... get his sn. If things are really clicking try and hang out sometime, but save that for when you two really get two know eachother. If things dont work out I guarentee you will find a guy for you theres always somebody for someone.

I belive in God, but i was wondering, if God created us, and all the earth, how was he created and how did he create everything, what was it it all like w/o God, how can he just appear from thin air when there is no thin air, were does he appear from if there's nuthin to appear from, how did he create the universe and beyond, if there was never anything to create it from, if there was once no such thing as the universe, where did he create it from, was there sumthin before God, and if so how did he/she make stuff, where did God come from????????

That is an awsome question. I find myself wondering that all the time. Your neighbour was right. God was ALWAYS there. Not anywhere in particular but just there as in creation. Its so hard for us to believe because we're just of this world, and while on earth we cant consume that information because we're used to things we see with our eyes and scientific proof. You dig? But if you really believe in heaven, what i believe is that once I get there I will suddenly understand it all, and it will be much clearer. Not alot about god is clear until we reach heaven, but once we do get there it will be so easy to understand. No one created God. He has always and will always be here, and not anywhere in particular, b/c he can be anywhere at anytime. I encourage you to continue going to church. Try asking your pastor, he'd have a good answer. If your church does have it, you should try joining up in a youth group. It can be so much fun and its a good way to meet friends.

My names not important, but i've been cutting myself alot lately. It's really hard to stop. It just seem's liek its there for me when I'm down or depressed. I really need help but I don't want to tell my family. My familys falling apart already as it is and I don't want to add stress to anyone. It's just hard to stop. It just feels like something to bounce back on. Anybody have advice on what I could do to stop cutting myself.. maybe something else to do instead of that.. I dont know. Thanks alot. (F/14)

Sweetheart, dont take lifes biggest pains out on yourself. Please, find a hobby, something your good at. Can you draw? thats a good way of expressing anger. You can make poems up, make a journal anything. Just whatever you do to get your pain out, dont hurt yourself. Life can be a tough pain in the ass and theres ways to get through with that. Do you have any friends? Tell them about it... get yourself out of depressed-mode. Theres nothing worse than that. But please hun just do not hurt yourself your only 14 and you've got so much living to do.

Well before they meet set down the rules to her. Say something like: Look, last time when you hooked up with my guy, my feelings were crushed. Please just respect me because I really like him. And another thing you shouldn't be afraid to let them meet b/c if he loves you enough he wont let any other girl get in the way of things. You know what I mean? If he did start to like your best friend he'd prove himself a complete jerk, and that would just be his problem. And if your best friend pulled the same trick on you she wouldnt be much of a best friend at all.
