cool rock groups
i need to listen to some new bands... i love the ones i listen to,so i'd like something like them (the strokes, weezer, von bondies, and coldplay)
not rap (spare me), or hip-hop or anything. just rock... and i usually end up liking the bands that aren't very well known...
hear of some?

Well, you should try the grande nationals ( www.grande nationals.com) they are a detoroit local band. the paybacks, grade8, hotwire, groovie ghoulies, mates of States, Amazing Transparent man, the huxtables...hmm, thtas all i can think of right now, i hope youu ike them!

Have you ever heard of Relient K? They're awsome and they stand out. Hmm Lost Prophets are AWSOME make sure you listen to their song ' Last Train Home' im sure you'll like them.. and SWITCHFOOT!!! LOVE THEM

I'm really into dashboard confessional, Brand new, taking back sunday, Less then Jake, My friend and cuz really like Vroom(really hard to find their music but its awsome!) and I like Story of the year. Something Corporate's good too. You have prbly listened to alot of them but their really good. I know a bunch of others that i cant think of their names but I will go look and edit this answer! Okay Im back. definatly The get up Kids! They r really awsome! Also if u go to rock concerts listen to the openning acts, there always best!

hey...idk if u'll like um but try "too late may" go to there website to dowload some of there music or "taking back sunday" or yeah thisis a more well known band but yellowcard...i love them maybe u will too
