My birthday was about a week ago, and my mom gave me a Tiffany braclet (if you dont know what that is its like a 400 dollar braclet). A few days after I went to the beach with my cousins and I was wearing the braclet. We were boogyboarding in the waves and the braclet slipped off my wrist. It went with the waves. Now I lost it and I havent told my mom yet. Im not sure how she would react but im scared to tell her. How should I say it? Please help

Clean the entire house, from top to bottom, and maybe buy her some flowers. Then cry when you tell her about it, and say "I am so sorry, Mommy." a lot. If she gets mad, just yell "You're the idiot who spent 400 dollars on a bracelet, next time just buy one at Wal Mart for like five dollars!" or, "Hey, the bracelet might've gotten lost at sea, but I'm still alive!!" After you both calm down you can say, "It may have washed up on an island full of poor people who don't have wonderful things like computers, or food, or bracelets. But now they can sell it on the black market and buy something to eat. Isn't that a happy thought?"

I am going to be a freshman this year, and I have just started talking to this guy. Well, He is going to be a junoir and i know him from my sister--who is going to be a senior.
I have started having feelings for this guy. We talk alot online, and he is really sweet. But there are two problems. 1)He has a girlfriend 2)He still see's me as a kid.
Now both of those are really..hard. Because I think he see's me more of a little sister, then a friend. And it is so tough to deal with. Because I know i am not brave enough to tell him how I feel. And I know he doesnt feel the same. What should I do?

Well, it's just a crush. You'll probably get about a jillion of them, and they'll come and go. I know it seems like a big deal to you right now, and I'm not trying to be mean when I say this, but it really isn't and you will get over it. It might not even take that long to get over it, who knows? I've had crushes that lasted just a couple of days. You might end up finding another guy who is totally into you, or you might just stop liking this one. And if not, there's always the chance that he will break up with his girlfriend, and a junior and a freshman going out is not strange at all and is actually widely accepted. But if that does happen, you have to get over your fear and take the initiative to tell him how you feel.

There's no right or wrong way to do it...unless you have sex by like, eating pizza or something (but I guess some people do think pizza is sexy, so who am I to judge?). It's just something you have to figure out yourself, be creative. But I can tell you this...it's more than just "insert here". Play around first, like with fingering or, I dunno, dressing up as French maids or something. You'll get better at it with practice.

Ha, that's so weird, I'm listening to Blink 182 right now. Not that song though. Hmmm...try "Yesterday" by The Beatles, "Cup of Coffee" by Garbage, and "A Sorta Fairytale" by Tori Amos. Though it kind of helps if you meant as a friend or like, missing your boyfriend or girlfriend. Oh well. Those songs are all good. "Almost" by Bowling for Soup is good, it's a bit silly but also emotional.

Okay, I really want to start using ebay, not to sell things, but to buy things..I`m only 15 years old...so I don`t have my own credit card..I would pay for it ..I just need to use a credit card. The thing is My mom has said she doesn't like buying things online because she doesnt like giving out her credit card number out..I need some advice on how to convice her to let me use ebay. I would pay for everything, I just need her credit card to use..So how can i convince her To let me use Ebay?

Well, it's just stuff. You don't have to have it now. And anyways, you can find good stuff at the local mall, can't you? Or at a thrift store even, since ebay is used stuff anyway. Wait till you're older and have your own apartment and credit card. Ebay will still be there. Oh, and you can point out to your mom that if somebody gets your credit card number and uses it, the credit card company will know about it before she does and set things straight.

Umm...they talk about video games a lot. And if they're the athletic type, they talk about sports. If they like anime, they tend to talk about that. If they are in a band, they'll also talk about their guitar or drums or such. And they also like to talk about last night's episode of (insert stupid TV show here). Sometimes they talk about their family, or about their job...or they make stuff up...like..."who would win in a fight? Mr. Johnson as a vampire or Ms. Thomas as a ninja?" Make some guy friends and talk to them...it's not like it's such a big secret thing and girls aren't allowed to know about it. You're definitely allowed to make friends with guys.

Hm. Well you can't make it like it looks in magazines. Those are all models who have teams of professionals work on their hair for 52 hours, and then the pictures are airbrushed. And anyways...straight hair is so much better than curly/wavy. But if you really want it...try a curling iron, or special hair gel that is made to curl your hair.

okay well i got my period summer before 7th grade.. and im in the summer before 9th grade right now....and i still havent used tampons!! at first i really just, didnt feel the need to..but now i feel the need to and all my friends do and i just cant.. ive tried a couple times but idk.. ive done it with a mirror on the floor, and one of my legs on the ground and one up.. so i can see what im doing.. and it looks as if there is something blocking where i am supposed to be putting it... does that sound normal? i REALLY want to just somehow shove it up there but i dont know exactly what im doing.. ive read instructions and even books made for girls called Caring For Girls... please help i think there issometing wrong with me down there... thanks a bunch sry if i grossed you out=)

Okay, well you don't have to use tampons. There's no law against using pads, a lot of girls do that and have never used tampons. It's totally normal. You might still have your hymen, which is fine, it should break when you put the tampon in. Or you might not. Try masturbating first, and get used to feeling your fingers inside of you. And don't shove it in...that's bad.

You'll get a boyfriend. Don't worry. Not all guys go after the same thing. Make friends with guys, show that you have a girly side as well (and don't deny it, you do have a girly side. you're worrying about guys, after all). But whatever you do, don't waste all your time looking for a boyfriend or whining about how you don't have one. High school will go by way faster than you expect, and you want to make the most of it.
