My name is Teza.. short for Tereza. I was born in Croatia and I speak more than one language. I'm 22 years old & I completed 2 college degrees in 3 years. My a bachelors is in Business Administration concentration in Human Resources and my Masters degree is also in HR.

Here is my question- - - Last month i had a Urinary Tract Infection. And yes it was pretty bad , well then weeks after i took a urine sample again & my infection was over. Now i am experiencing the same sympthoms that i had when i was getting UTI [ urinary tract infetion ] and my mom called my doctor. & She said that she is worried that i might have a "Kidney disease".. I am only 13 and I was wondering that if i do get a kidney disease , how do they know you have it? and How long cna you eproximentally live with it? Thank you so much!

I'm really sorry but I don't know anything about the kidney disease. I don't want to say anything and give you the wrong answer so the best thing to do it if you talked to your doctor. You can also try to search some things about it and see if you will find any information. Again, sorry.

okay my mom wont let me get my lip waxed,

Don't shave or pluck it. If you pluck it, it's gonna hurt you like hell and if you shave.. well it's just horrible. Ask your mom again about waxing it. You can buy a little package at Walgreens that's for lip and eyebrow waxing. If your mom won't let you do that, you can die it. Don't die it bleach blond or something. Just die it light enough so you can't see it. But honestly, I personally think that waxing it is the best thing though.

How much every day should a boyfriend and girlfriend talk on the phone? We go to different schools but live 10 minutes away. We're 16.

I don't know what to do.. I have been going out with this guy for about 2 months and I love him and he says he loves me but I just don't think he does anymore.For some reason it seems like everything we had is fading away and yet I don't know why because neither of us are doing anything wrong? People are telling me he likes other girls but when I ask him he says he doesn't, I don't really know what to do should I keep holding on or let go?

Are you sure you "love" him. It takes a lot for someone to love a person and you guys have only been together for 2 months. I don't know what to tell you though. I can't tell what he's thinking or if he doesn't have strong feelings for you anymore. Don't listen to what other people tell you. Unless you hear it directly from him, don't belive it. I'm not saying that he will always tell the truth, but people like to talk and say stuff. I think you should just have a conversation with him about this subject. Just tell him that if he likes other girls and things like that, that ending the relationship would be best for both of you. I also can't tell you if you should hold on or let go. That is something for YOU to decide, not me or anyone else. Do what makes you happy and what you think is right for you.

so my ex [we broke up about 3/4 weeks ago he dumped me] was saying how he now reallyreally likes me alot and can't stop thinking about me& asked me out but i said i needed to think about it because i was afraid of getting hurt again and he said ok thats fine I'll ask you when i see you again

Don't blame yourself for this. I don't know what you could say to him. You can't do anything to change his mind about having feelgings for another girl. I know it may be hard, but for now, just wait. Wait & see what will happen but continue talking to him. Stay in touch and hang out. The more you guys talk, the bigger the chance he might start liking you a lot more.

hi, well i love T shirts but i`m girly and i can`t find cute T shirts anywhere like that are pink or orange and some other cute colors, that say things on them as well. do you know any stores that sell cute T shirts for girls, but not the tight shirts the baggy kind or w.e lol?

No, I don't know any stores that can just sell random T-shirs. I love normal shirts like that and I just get them from every where I go. So once again, no I don't. Sorry.

hey. well ok like im 13 years old..and it seems like everything is going wrong! im in 7th grade this year and seriously my grades are kind of bad esspeciall yin math i have a D or and F and i never in my life had a D or an F i dont know what happening.. my mom always compares me to my friends and says why cant you be like this gurl so smart..and you know it just makes me cry because you know i never was really good in math and.. i dont know what i should do.. my friends are all changing and it seems like everythings going wrong what do i do?.. help quick becausee i dont know what to do anymore really. thanks babe

I was just like you when I was in 7th grade. Honestly, that was my worst year. I thought that everything was going so wrong and that my life was a mess but trust me, it gets better. School and friends can be so complicating. Trying to keep up with both can get really hard and it makes you want to give up. Math was never my best subject, and to this day, I'm horrible at it. The best and smartest thing you can do is to get some help. Stay after school couple of times and ask your teacher to explain it one more time. That way you will catch up. Don't be embarassed because you have to do that, it will help you out a lot. You can also get a tutor. Ask your parents for help. A friend that is really good in math. Anything that will help you stay focused to pass the class. My parents used to compare me with other kids and say why can't you be more like them and it used to get to me pretty bad. I told them, I'm not like them and I never will be. You might as well get used to that by now. Sure they'll say that now and then, but that's just how parents are. No matter what, they still love you the same.


You will have good times and pretty bad times with your friends. Some will backstab you, spread rumors about you so you have to be careful. You can't always trust everyone no matter how sweet they are. People do change and that is one of the things you will have to get used to in life. You can't do anything about it.


I know that life may be really hard right now but you'll do fine. Things will get harder but you just have to be confident that you can deal with everything. School will get harder. There are going to be arguments and fight with friends.. and parents but that's just life and it's not always fair.

ok, well first off, i love your site & your advice is great. i really hope you can help me with my problem.

so i like this guy who likes me back. he`s never admitted it but i have a strong feeling he does and my friend was with me last time i saw him and she is convinced he likes me too. i can`t get him out of my mind, but i know i shouldn`t like him. he`s in his 20`s and i`m 15. he is friends with my older brothers, who highly disapprove of me dating. also, i see him very unoften. the last time i saw him, other than this past saturday was the begining of june. but i can`t get him off of my mind and every time i see him, he makes it harder for me to forget it. should i forget him or should i wait and see what he will do? but he`s older than me, so should i just forget him?

The age difference is a big one.. I mean he's 5 years older than you but it doesn't mean he couldn't actually have feelings for you. I know that it's hard for you to forget about him, but you have to. You never see him and even if you guys were to have a relationship, it would be very difficult. The age difference doesn't always have to matter but it's just not right. You don't have to completly forget about him though. You guys should still try and keep in touch. It's going to hurt you and you're going to be sad a couple of times, but that's life and you have to understand that not everything will go your way. You will find someone that's right for you, no doubt.

For homecomming, black dresses are perfect. Mine is black with a pattern but it goes with anything so you should try to look for a black dress. It's hard to find the perfect dress but JC Pennys, Macy's, Dillards, Charlotte Russe, Forever 21, Body Central.. all of those places have really cute dresses. If you do get a black dress, wear different color shoes & jewerly. Now, for hair.. there aren't really any websites that would help you decide on what look you want.. I tried to look for some ideas for myself and I didn't really find anything. They have hair style magazines at like Walgreens or Walmart for cheap and you can just get one of those and find something. Also, do an easy hair style. You're going to get hot and sweaty while you're dancing and your hair is going to get on your nerves.

my friend, lets just call her stacy and i used to be inseperable. we were best friends, we would hang out everyday, cuz we were neighbors so we could. anyway, lately shes been hanging out with a popular girl, lets call her lily. so stacy has been hanging out with lily, and its really sad cuz she never hangs out with me anymore. and a couple weeks ago, she said she didnt want to be friends anymore because i was "clingy" and i wasnt clingy at all! but now we are kind of friends i guess, i mean, we talk and stuff. bt i just looked at her AIM profile and im not in it she has all her other friends except me. and shes not friends with any of her old ones, except me and i guess were not bestfriends anymore. and not she is really popular, and she ignores me during school, and lily is more important to her than i am. and, shes just not the same old stacy anymore. i want my old stacy back! i miss her so much! please! i need help!

What she's doing to you is really rude. If she doesn't want to be friends, don't even bother anymore. You shouldn't beg her for it and if she wants to ditch and ignore you for someone else, let her. Just because this "popular" girl is all of the sudden if friends with her, she's letting it get to her head. She wants to impress Lilly and act cooler in front on her. You should talk to her one last time. She needs to understand that she's changed. I don't think she wants to admit it, but she has. You were always there for her, not Lilly. You guys were always best friends, not her and Lilly. Once Lilly ditches her for other people, she's going to realize how stupid and ignorant she's been acting. If she doesn't really care about what you have to say, she was never your real friend to begin with. Best friends wouldn't do that. I know for a fact that I would never hurt any of my friends like that and you shouldn't let her get to you. I know it's hard, but there's nothing you can do and it's not your fault.

Having a thing for 2 guys can be so hard and complicated so I know how you feel. Just because the first guy is always looking at you and such doesn't give you a good enough reason to actually go out with him. It seems like he could like you but it's hard to tell if he likes you just because he looks at you a lot. You should talk to him and just see how both of you feel about each other.


You seem to like this other guy a lot more than the first one. & honestly, I do think he likes you. Eather that or he thinks of you as a really good friend. Have you ever actually talked to this guy about having a relationship and such. I know what you mean about being akward with the parents and such. Foreign parents are weird about stuff like that and they'll tease you about it lol. I can't tell you who you should go out with though. If I were you, I'd go for the second guy but that's just my opinion. You need to think about this and figure out exactly what you want and then see where things go. If both of you like each other, you shouldn't go out RIGHT away. Give it some time. Hang out and talk a lot more. Then, when you really want a boyfriend, go for it. I'm going to be a young mom, My boyfriend is my age too were both 18. We had many plans and everything was going fine, until he came over one day (Im living with my mom.) And he started ranting out on me, saying "I don't want a kid, I don't want to take care of it, I dont want to college, I cant handle this. Im not your boyfriend , tell your parents the baby isnt mine. Make you seem like a slut. Im not taking care of a baby its your fault." And so much more. Well that was 2 days ago. I've been crying for hours a day and I dont know what do to anymore. Do I call him? Should I call him? What should I say? They were his ideas and I liked them. But I need him, ALOT!

The things he said, he probablly didn't mean. I just don't think he's ready to be a dad and he's freaking out. You need to call him. Even though you didn't do anything wrong, you can't just leave things like that. Talk to him about it. He's scared and let him know that he's not going to be raising this child on his own.. you'll both have help.

Last night (Friday), I went to my crushes house. I was there with 5 other guys, and 1 other girl (who left early). Anyways, my crush made it totally obvious that he liked me. The thing is, even though he is really funny, every one is always saying how annoying he is. I've also never had a boyfriend, and I guess you could say I'm pretty, just not hott.

Anyways, I am basically almost positive he likes me, but I don't know its just pretty awkward, and I really dont know what to do.

The other thing is, my group of friends have never really dated either, and its because they don't really hang out with guys. So when I told them I was going to his house with 5 other guys, they were like acting really wierd.
I'm kind of sick of these friends, and I sort of want to hang around with a new crowd (not such a prude-ish crowd)

So I need help on either question: What should I do about my crush, and what should I do about my friends

If you both like each other, don't let what other people say stop you from going out with him. If people think he's annoying, so what as long as he doesn't bother you. For now, just flirt with him and get to know him better. You'll find out if you really like him or not and you'll see how he acts. Don't rush into anything. The reason your friends are acting so weird is because they don't know how you feel and they never been in your position. Don't just blow them off because they're shy and prude. You should still go out and meet new people but they will always be your friends no matter how dumb they act. If you don't want to be friends with them, that's your choice but don't hurt them over something like that. Let them think whatever they want. As long as you're happy, that's all that matters.

which store is the cheapest in cosmetics like maybelline: cvs, riteaid or walmart?

Walmart has a good price on cosmetics but I wouldn't know about Riteaid. If you have Walgreens where you live, it's pretty cheap there.
