How much every day should a boyfriend and girlfriend talk on the phone? We go to different schools but live 10 minutes away. We're 16.

There's no real limit on how long you guys should talk for. It just depends on if you have stuff to talk about on that day, or not. You could talk for 10 mins, or 15 hours, it doesn't really matter. But, you should be calling one another everyday, even if it's for 5 mins. You guys should try to communicate a lot, since you and him both go to different schools. My boyfriend and I live about 10 mins away from one another, too. Although we see one another mostly everyday, we talk on the phone at night for at least 3-4 hours. So you can talk to him as much as you'd like to, really.

Well there's no REAL amount of time a girlfriend and a boyfriend have to talk every day, so it's really your choice on how much you want to talk and how much you have to say and everything.
You could talk 10 minutes or 10 hours, haha. :)
But if you guys barely have time to talk becaues you're living busy schedules or so, find a certain time during the day where you guys can talk for a good while and everything. And also, if you two only live 10 minutes away, try and find more time to visit eachother.
But if you have a busy schedule, maybe do "school, talk to him on the phone on the ride/drive/walk home, and then go do whatever, eat dinner, then talk to him before you do homework, possibly call him back again and then go to bed." Also, if you two are 16, if one of you guys are able to drive at all, since you guys don't seem THAT far away from eachother, maybe one of you guys can drive to the other's school and pick them up and drive them home, which'll give you guys more time to talk to eachother.
Just whenever you do talk, remind eachother you miss eachother and really wish you could talk ( if you have to get off the phone ) and let eachother know you hope the other's having a great day and everything, so you guys can remind eachother how much you guys care for another and then you guys can think of that whenever you're NOT talking on the phone.

theres not a certain amount a girlfriend and boyfriend have to talk on the phone. you could talk for hours or minutes it depends what you guys like. if its not taking time away from school and your social life, then what the heck talk for 3 hours if you want to. its YOUR choice. :)

I think a couple should talk once a day especially if they don`t see eachother everyday.
Just to see how things are.
But i wouldn`t call a thousand times a day.
I suggest before bed or after diner that way its not in the way of anything.
Me && my boyfriend talk bout 4 hours or so every night.But thats how we are..We have been doing it for over two years =).

As much as you want, as long as you don't neglect other things such as family, friends, and school work.
That means it's OK to not talk on the phone if one or both of you don't like to talk on the phone, as long as you have another way of spending time together.

There really isn't a limit on how much you guys should talk. Whenever you guys have time, call each other. Since you guys go to different schools, it's the only way you can communicate a lot.

i know bfs and gfs that talk whenever chance they get...i also know couples that wait till the weekend to talk to eachother, its whatever you feel comfortable with really..

You can't put an exact amount on something like that. For every couple and situation it is different. I would say though that it is important to communicate someway dialy. That could be either in person, phone, computer, email, etc. Even if the two of you are really busy, you or your boyfriend are never too busy to just pick up the phone to say "Hey I wish I could talk but I am really busy right now but I just thought you should know that I am thinking about you." This lets y'all know you care. You may also want to set aside a certain day of the week that fits y'alls schedule better. :)
