If I bought a hoodie at abercrombie a year ago and then brought it back to return it, what would they do? Even if they gave me store credit for not having a reciept? Would they take it?

I just checked the website and it says:

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, return it to us for an exchange or refund. We exchange or refund any original condition merchandise with a copy of your original invoice. If the item was purchased at the store, it must be returned at a store. Please do not send merchandise that was purchased at one of our store locations for return. Since it doesn't give a specific time frame, I assume they'll take all returns. You may as well try, the worst they can say is no :).

I want to create a website on my own about current issues for teenagers to talk about. I'm a teenager myself, but my question is where do I start when I'm making a website from scratch?

When I made a website, I used GeoCities. If you have no experience at HTML, it may not be the best choice, though.

So my family's going on a vacation in winter. We're from Barbados which doesn't have snow or any relly cold areas. The coldest it gets is about 25 degrees celcius maximum. So we're leaving in a while (few days) and I have no idea how i'm goin to stay warm to reach New York. Tell me how to dress to go to the airport please? how many layers of clothes will i need???????

New York does get pretty cold, especially compared to Barbados. Definitely wear long sleeves, and a sweatshirt. A winter jacket is also great to have.

For pants, I'd wear jeans. Boots or sneakers are fine for shoes. You'll want thick socks to keep your feet warm.

Many people wear hats, mittens/gloves, or scarves as well.

Bring a lot of mix and match clothes, so you can layer yourself appropriately depending on how cold it is.

my grandma told me i was developing a hunched figure the other day, and now im trying to sit straight and trying to catch myself every time i hunch. Is there any way to rpevent this?

My back was slightly hunched last year, and my doctor told me it was because I was wearing a one-sholder backpack to school. He said I needed to wear a bag with two straps, so it's equal on both shoulders. I took his advice, and the next year my back had straightened itself out.

i am sick of hearing the word gay being tossed around so carelessly. "that song is so gay!" how does that make ANY sense? does that song like other songs of the same gender? am i missing something here..?

i want people to know that i am gay and i find it very offensive to hear people use gay instead of stupid. i am gay. does that make me stupid?

if you are jewish and someone said "that movie is so jewish", you would get offended because jewish does not mean stupid. this is the same exact scenario: a minority being discriminated.

so why do people do this, and how do i get them to stop? =(

I hate it when people say that. I'm so sick of hearing "That's so gay". However, I can honestly see where they're coming from, as I've let "That's so retarded" slip out more than once.

It's rarely meant to be a homophobic statement, but I definitely know what you're saying. If someone said "that's so Jewish," I'd probably smack them. I agree with what Razhie said to do-- I'm going to try that next time, also.

One of my friends is very Christian and anti-gay marriage because of how she was brought up. She constantly says "That's so gay," but it's not meant to be a homophobic statement. I've gotten her to wear a rubber band around her wrist, and every time she says "That's so gay," she painfully snaps her wrist with the rubber band. It's really helped :).

According to the BMI calculator, you have a BMI of 23.1. This is considered normal weight. A BMI of 25 or above is considered overweight. For someone who is 5'6", you would have to weigh 155 pounds pounds to reach a BMI of exactly 25.

But it varies for individual person-- for example, a lot of your weight could be muscle.

"The Perks of Being a Wallflower". It has a lot of elements of music, and also talkes about sex, drugs, homosexuality, etc.

Another idea is "Go Ask Alice". It's about a teenage girl who gets addicted to all kinds of drugs and runs away from home. It's really sad but a very good book.

I'm in the same situation as you; I have to gain weight, but not become fat. My doctor recommended these to me:

-fish
-avocado
-nuts
-peanut butter
-olive oil

All of those things have the fat that is good for you. If you google "gain weight healthily", you might find more suggestions.

I am a 16 year old girl who has taken a babysitting course a few years ago and is certified in CPR. I don't have a lot of experience. I have only babysitted once before, not counting my younger sister. I babysat for a family that had a two year old and a ten year old.

Now I am babysitting for a family that has three kids: A three year old, and two 18 month olds. I only babysit for an hour or so, and the 18 month olds are napping, so unless they wake up, the only major responsiblility is the three-year-old.

My question is, is $10.00 an hour too much? I didn't ask for that much, the parents just gave it to me. I feel bad accepting it because even though I don't just watch TV when I'm babysitting, I play with the kids, it seems like a lot. But then again, I don't know much about babysitting rates, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

$10.00 is fine. I make $8 an hour, but I only babysit two kids. Most people I know make between $7 to $10.

Well, assuming our dads are probably from around the same sort of era, does he like bands such as The Beatles, The Who, Earth Wind and Fire, etc? If so, maybe you can try looking for a cd set, band memorabilia, or something along those lines. Ebay is seriously great for that stuff, if you have an account.

Could you go to the apple store website and order something from there? That way he doesn't have to find out, unless he happens to see your package in the mail. I also like your dinner gift card idea. You could take the whole famiily out to his favorite restaurant, or even arrange for just him and your mom.
