Is it possiable for a computer to have a built in mircophone? We got this HP computer in Decemeber..and my friend and I were on talk..and I put on music..he heard it and he heard his own echo. The only thing is that I don't have a mircophone so is that possiable, to have a built in mircophone?- Thx
Yes, many computer monitors were made with microphones built in and many people who own them might not even be aware of it. Most laptops today have microphones right above the screen.

If you're using a PC then go in to "My Computer" and right click on the drive corresponding to your Ipod. I forget if it actually says ipod or what. It will either say "Format" or "initialize" on the drop down menu. On a Mac, the drive will appear on your desktop and you control-click on it. That is one thing that I abolutely hate about Ipods. You cannot use them on more than one computer, so if you get a new computer or your old one dies, you're in trouble.
Right now I have an RCA Lyra and it is doing just fine for me. I guess it's all about the file sharing junk they are trying to stop.
Another thing you need to do is make sure you have your drivers installed correctly. I plugged my brother's Ipod into my computer and, yes, it recognized it, but I couldn't load anything onto it beacuse I didn't have the drivers loaded.

Hi. This is the same person with the ipod question about when I tried to download songs on it that it deleted everything and wouldnt download. Well now I bought new songs and and imported some from cds and stuff anf tried updating it. And it wont let me put any new songs on my ipod. I have no idea whats going or what to do. What you need to do first is make sure you are using the correct compression for your files. You should be using either AAC or MP3. Are you using the same computer? You might have to re-initialize it and then update it again.

I was removing programs to free up some disk space on my computer. I removed one that actually turns out to be a very important program but was listed under something that I couldn't quite tell what it is. Needless to say, now I know & desperately need it back. Is there anyway to retrieve removed programs?
Yes, if you keep your installer files then you can search for the name of the program and re-install it. If you don't, then you can probably download it, or whatever if you have a CD. I might be able to help you more if you tell me what it is.

ok..so i want to learn how to play my electric guitar. would the person who teaches people be at a place that sells guitars? or a separate place? what am i supposed to say when i walk in? do you have an idea on how much i would go and how much it would cost? (like once a week, every week day, and so on) what will they teach me? dont say how to play...duh. but what will i learn? do you have an idea how long the lessons will be? (an hour, or what) and do you know how long it would be for me to be able to stop going to lessons? (a month? 3 months? how long?) and am i supposed to bring my guitar in each time i go to lessons? or am i going to be playing one of theirs? i think that would be pretty embarrasing to walk in holding a guitar ready for lessons...but it wouldnt seem right to be playing theirs when you should be getting used to yours or something. but whatever. or do you think i should just buy a tape and learn myself? please help!
Yes, it is quite often that the same people at the guitar shops that sell guitars also give lessons. That's why they hire them, they know what they're doing. Its usually once a week and it might cost about 10 dollars a lesson or so...you will learn chords, songs, technique, rhythm and much more. Lessons are usually anywhere from 30 min. to an hour. yes, you should bring your own guitar. Yes, you should know your own guitar and how it feels. Having a professional teach you is far, far better than a tape or trying to teach yourself, trust me.

what is the differance between sit ups and crunches?
When you do sit-ups you go all the way up to your knees. With crunches you come up about half way. Crunches are much more effective on your lower abs than sit-ups.

Yes, i have been there before. The most you can do is take somthing to relieve the pain (ibuprophen, asprin, ect) and dont eat foods that are tough unless theyre chopped into small pieces.

If you're going to be playing by yourself then you should probably get somthing more than a bass.

Im a fairly avid musician that has somewhat recently purchased a brand new LTD-B55 bass (if you are unfamilliar with the product - its a five string) from a local music store. Well, i've been prolonging it for quite some time, but its inevitable. I need new strings.

ok i have one of those computers that has a mic inside of it. its on the top and its just a little hole. it always worked until we moved my comp into my room. i have gone to the control panel thing..but i cant find where to go. how do i install it? or what am i supposed to do so it works? thanks!
If your mic is inside your monitor, then there is probably somthing unplugged. Look behind your screen for a loose cable and find the mic plug on the back of your computer.

I have windows me and i cant find my soundcard on the comp. i have no sound and its really annoying.My g/fs mom said it could have deleted itself is that true and if so how can i get it back.ill rate high to any helpful information!!
Right click on my computer, then click hardware then "Device Manager". After you click that look for somthing that says "Sound, video and game controllers". Click the drop-down menu and try and find out what kind of card it is. If it's not under that, then go to "Other Devices" that has a yellow "?" mark. If you find it there then double click it then go to driver and try updating the driver. Of course, it could be that it just fell out of it's slot. My friend's old computer had a CPU that used a slot like the PC cards and it fell out. So, if nothing else works then take the case off of your computer and make sure it's in the socket.

Ok. The other day I was downloading music onto my ipod. I already had about 200 songs on there and I got 30 more to import onto it. Well i connects it and hit import and the ipod said the thing on the screen when it says do not disconnect. Then when it got done, i was checking the songs and it deleted every song I had on there and didn't even copy the one a picked out to copy on. Does anyone know how or why this happened and is there anyway to get all the songs back, because I got a new computer and so the songs that were on it before were on my old computer. Any help please!!!
Yep. That's the one bad thing about Apple's Ipod. Whenever you get a new computer or connect it to another computer, you have to re-initialize the Ipod.(unless you partition the disk, but lets not go there right now) Unfortunately, there isn't a way around this. Sorry, there really isn't much you can do here unless you can get your old hard-drive out of your other computer.
