My Mother shops Avon from time to time, so I have used their Line, but I do have other preferences. I think the two best brands of eye liner out there are Meryl Norman and Beautique. Meryl Norman, which to my knowledge can only be purchased at The Meryl Norman Cosmetic Studios (often found in malls), is pricey. It typically runs about $8.50 - $15.00, but it really is good stuff. It glides on with ease, and it stays on all day. And if that price is a little bit more than what you're looking to spend, I suggest Beautique - which is actually my perfernece. Thing is, I've only seen Beautique at Sally's. I guess the good news is that it's only .99 cents. And trust me, I wouldn't buy crap make up, so do not let this dollar price throw you off. You'd be cheating yourself out of something really special. Beautique is easily applied, and you will have many hours of perfect wear - all free of smudging. I probably could not promote this item enough; as I am very satisfied with it's results. I've been using it for about six years now. But if you still have doubts... for only .99 cents, it's worth a shot. :)

Liz Claiborne's "Curve Crush" smells fantastic, if you ask me. That can be purchased at Walmart for $21.00 and change. Might I also recommend another fragraince by Liz Claiborne, "Mambo", which is my all time favorite, also available at Wal-Mart, as well as all major department stores.

I'm not one for reading, but I have a few suggestions for you.
Anything by V.C. Andrews. Particularly "Flowers In The Attic" [that one is also a movie, so enjoy the book.. then enjoy the movie]
Anything by Mary Downing Hahn. Particularly "Daphne's Book" and "Jellyfish". Mary Downing Hahn is my favorite author. I do not enjoy reading, to be honest, so if an author can get me to pick up a book.. they must be great, but to have me never be able to put it down says a lot.
Also, if you haven't yet Robert C O'Brien's "Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH", I definitely suggest doing so. It's a classic! All of those in the series [3, I believe] are all wonderful.
But my favorite and most highly recommended novel would be "The Catcher In The Rye", by J.D. Salinger. It may make me seem ridiculous, but that book had a way of changing my perspective on life. I am quite fond of it.

She sounds very important to you, so there simply isn't any way that you ever Could forget about her, I understand. The key is to allow yourself some time to grieve. A tragic thing has just happened, and crying is a suitable reaction. Unfortunately, you can not grieve forever. You must accept matters and find a way of adjusting. A dog is just as much a member of the family as everybody else. Things will be different, but you can manage by hanging onto fond memories. It might be devastating, but all good things must come to an end.

There is a link you might be interested in checking out. It's a very sad video, and it will probably make you cry. I think a way for you to feel better about this is to have some sort of an understanding about what could have possibly happened to Adrian. You may be able to 'see' her in the backyard, but only in body, not in spirit. This will take a little bit of belief on your part, but it is a beautiful story. The point of the video is that even though she might not be visible to your eye... that doesn't make Adrian any less alive in your heart.

Personally, I wouldn't wear them. I am just not a fan of flats. However, I do like the look of this specific pair very much, especially the "Multi". They're fashionable, no doubt about that, and the simple bow adds a nice touch of class. And the price is definitely right. :)

I live in Connecticut. My Driver's Ed lasted about eight weeks. I attended class two nights per week, and I was enrolled during the holiday season, so I had some scheduled days off and sometimes an entire missed week. I started the last week of October, and I finished the last week of December, so about two months. All in all, they only wanted thirty hours of in class work and then eight hours of road time, which I had to schedule my first or second time in class. And I did this through a private program, not a high school. :) As a side note, a friend of mine did it through her high school. She went three times per week, and it took about two and a half weeks.

Absolutely, it's his money to begin with. He was nice enough to give it to you to spend, but you didn't spend all of it. Therefore, you should be curteous enough to give it back to him if you don't need it. That's all part of being responsible and considerate. Or you could think of it this way, I guarantee you that he will remember your returning the money to him. And if you do that without pitching a fuss, he is more likely to loan you money again in the near future. Why hold onto it if you don't need it? Why can't you view it as your Dad helping you out and making sure you spend it on what you truly require? Believe it or not, parents aren't enemies. He's only seeing to it that you don't put your money into a poor investment. Think of all he's done for you throughout your life - why not give back to him what you can for all that he's given to you?
