I am twenty-one, soon to be twenty-two, and currently work in a loan servicing department. I truly enjoy my job, as well as college, in which I am reaching my last year to receive my degree. Honey, be thankful it hasn't happened yet -- it's not fun. However, I understand your concern. You're just thirteen and this is totally normal, some girls do not start until they are about sixteen, so you are just fine. If you continue to worry and would like to make sure everything is alright, you can always go to a gynocologist and get checked out for your comfort.

about 3 months ago, i was diagnosed with leaukemia=[. the doctor told me that i am gonna die after my 8th month. is he allowed to tell me this? he just flat out said... " in about 8 months your gonna die ", he made me my mom my dad and my brother cry. so anyways.... can he tell me this... and can i like sue him for it?

Honey, unfortunately, you cannot sue your doctor for this. Was it nice the way he said it? Absolutely not and I do feel your pain, however, it's not illegal -- just heartbreaking.
My sincere condolances for your cancer, stay strong and fight it friend. Fighters make it, and you can beat it girly. Never give up because a little quote I like to live by is "If you go into a fight that you don't think you can win, you've already lost." John Cena stated that quote but I think it applies to life in general.
And also, get a second opinion sweetie. Or even a third. Go to other doctors and see if they diagnose the same thing, it could have been mis-diagnosed. The doctor doesn't sound too bright anyhow, so it's always a possibilty. Get yourself some more opinions and stay in the fight, my friend.

Okay this is going to be REALLY long, this all started when i was doing my clothes at around 11.... i wanted to clean some of my clothes so i would have something to wear tomorrow.
so i threw 2 pairs of abercrombie pants in the wash and dryer. so my mom was all like throw some of my jeans in! but i was half way threw the cycle to put any thing else in the the wash so i didnt bother.
then we went out and i was all nice to her. very nice. this lasted till about 3?
then i got home around like 3:30, and wow was it hell. i put my jeans in the dryer. so they would be dry for about 4:00. then my mom threw in some of her stuff, so i threw in the whites that were dirty in too. no problem with that right?
Okay this is when the shit started, i threw her stuff in the dryer without looking. [with my whites....] and so i did that so i could wash my so lows. so i did that. no problem right?
okay so my mom SCREAMS AND YELLS. becuase her stuff apparently shrunk 2 sizes. i told her if she wants to fit into them again, [ps their like designer] so she starts a hussy-fit with how everything gets broken left and right. and i dont need this beause i have finals from the 13-20th. do i need peace and quiet. but Apparently i cant get it sence my mom is bitching [sorry but i dont have anything else to say for that]
and i didnt invite her to dinner because i dont allow whiners eat the food i make, [im like a chef and planning to be one] so i made pretty good food. its hard to resist ;]
but like, then i was eating then she said to my dad, ricky, sister, melissa, and i, laura, "i hope you bastards [im quoting the EXACT words] fucking die form that taco shit you call food, and i hope you CHOKE AND DIE"
what should i do? call the cops. HELP! (link)

Well I agree that your mom shouldn't have said she "hopes your choke and die," HOWEVER, I don't agree with everything else. Listen my friend, I know sometimes at a young age we can get a little more aggravated about the little things than we should -- you need to recognize this. I understand this may seem to be a big deal, but let me tell you this isn't a reason to "hate" your mom. You should never hate your mother. You need to have respect and you should have let her eat your "pretty good" food, she is your mother.
I know, I know...you're ready to throw tomatoes at me, but please listen to what I have to say friend. I am only saying this to help you because you will only continue to have problems if you continue this kind of behavior/feelings.
You are only have one mother, and you can never get her back once she's gone. So why not enjoy her while she is here? So many times I see teenagers whining and crying over the little things because they take for granted that their parents will always be around. This is not true.
My dad died when I was eleven and I cherished every moment I had with him. Yes, we had out spats as all kids do, however, I never hated him and I'm glad I didn't. But I did take him for granted. Please don't take your mother for granted, we never know how much time we will be given.
Love your mother, be kind to her, talk to her and always communicate with her -- and yes, let her eat your food. If it's that good, don't let her miss it! :)

well i sorta have a hairy stomach and back. like you can see the hairs up close, but from far away its not noticable. like the hairs are light brown. anyways.. i'm wondering if i should shave the hairs off? or leave them on? Waxing is not an option.
If i shave it, will the hairs grow back darker and faster? like leg hair?

I have the perfect thing for you and it involves no shaving or waxing, and no pain! Use Sally Hansen's Hair Removal In-Shower. You just spray it on the areas you want to get rid of hair, and leave it on for 3 minutes (I believe, but always read the directions) and then you jump in the shower, and the hair comes right off!
However, I will tell you that the hair may not all come off and your skin will get red if you try to gently scratch it off with your fingernails -- so don't worry about it and the next day when you wake up, it will be all gone.

can anyone tell me the differences between a road bicycle and a beach/cruiser bicycle? could i use a cruiser on the road or is it only meant for the beach? does the cruiser not go as fast as a road bike? i'm confused but i'd love to buy a new bike. please help! thank you! (link)

It means that he is very fond of you. Most generally, he likes you as more than a friend. However, in rare cases, it's that he loves you as a friend -- which is wonderful, believe me. It's nice to have a good guy friend around. But most likely, he likes you as more than a friend. :)

Right now I use garnier fructis and sometimes herbal essences lines of shampoos and conditioners. I pay about $3-4 a bottle for them, and I was just wondering if anyone uses the really expensive salon brands of shampoos and conditioners (that cost like ~$20 a bottle) notices a big difference between the cheap and expensive shampoos/conditioners?
I have wavy hair and i usually just scrunch it a little to give it a tousled look. Do the expensive brands (like maybe bedhead?) make your hair shinier or less frizzy than the cheap brands? Thanks. (link)

Actually, I have found that the semi-cheap, regular brands work much better than the expensive ones -- in my experience. I use both Pantene and Head and Shoulders; I alternate. These two shampoos work wonders for my hair, and definitely frizz-free and shiny.

No, however, if any of his sperm were to somehow get into your vagina, then you may have a possibilty. Just use protection and that will keep that from happening (with anal sex only).

I have seen a lot of commercials recently with fish this and fish that. I know McDonald's had a special on their filet-o-fish sandwiches and meals and Wendy's had a new fish sandwich they introduced. A lot of places here started having fish specials on certain days of the week. Why is this a common practice? I don't understand what eating fish has to do with Lent? (link)

I saw an article in the paper today that said something about there were dangers in eating or drinking High Frucstose Corn Syrup. I don't really know what it is but I looked on my can of soda today and saw it was an ingredient. Is it like aspartame then with the same harmful side-effects? Anybody know??? (link)

My Dad keeps trying to get me to take some vitamins he bought for mre recently. He says they will keep me healthy and give me the nutrients that I am missing in my diet. I don't think I need vitamins at all because I eat pretty good foods. I eat fruits and vegetables almost every day. Why do I still need to take vitamins? (link)

It keeps your healthy, and helps your body. Just fruits and vegetables will not always keep you at your best, you need a good multi-vitamin to help your body.

She's your friend, therefore, she feels your pain. Many friends are very much effected by others stories and it can be so sad to listen to stories that seem painful and hard to go through. So she's your friend, a real friend, who just felt your pain -- it's a good thing to have a friend that cares so much.

I am wanting to know the best brand of menstrual pads I can use during my period. Price is no issue. I can't use tampons because my mom had cancer down there and so my doctor said I am high risk cancer and I shouldn't use tampons just in case. I don't have a problem with that anyway. I want to use the best pads though but I don't know what brand might be really good. Something comfortable and does what it needs to do (soak)! What is the pad brand? (link)

I use Poise or Stayfree pads, they are very comfortable. I get the "Super" kind so they absorbe much better.

I am a 13 year old girl and my friend and I are having some problems. She tries to influence me to do things that are really bad, things that I told her that I did not want to do. Though when

You should tell her that she is not acting like a real friend. Real friends never influence each other to do things that are not good for us, and they don't act that way she acting. They also do not treat their friends like she is treating yuo. I think you are smart to grow apart from her because you don't want to be friends with someone who would influence you to do something that is not in your best interest -- that's not what friendship is about.

Try using something over the counter with Aloe and E and you should be alright. If you notice any severe burning continuing throughout the week, I recommend seeing a doctor just to be sure everything is okay.

The right thing to do is what's in your heart. There must be a reason why you and your boyfriend broke up, and if you have found a new guy, it sounds like you may be ready to move on. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, and I encourage it if you are done with your previous relationship. Do not go back to your ex because he is upset, unfortunately, that is a part of the dating world and we all have to feel the pain. At least this way, if you are ready to move on, you are not leading him on in any way and you have broken things off. Which is the right thing to do if you are ready to move on and there is nothing wrong with that, so go ahead with this other guy or just enjoy being you and being single for awhile. :)

Unfortunately friend, I do know the pain, but I can promise you that this will pass. He has a girlfriend which always mean that the guy is off limits, which you recognize that and I commend you for that. So please, understand that most girls go through this so you are definitely not alone.
In trying to get over him, do things you enjoy and be with the people who love and support you. Treat yourself to little rewards each day for doing something good or something that you need to do, those are always things that cheer me up.
