I'm a 17 yr old female, and I and my boyfriend of a year and 3 months just ended our relationship about a week ago. It was mutual because we both were fighting a lot over petty things and not acting quite like bf and gf, but more like good friends. Part of this is my fault... I guess maybe a couple month or so ago I started to get this crush on another guy about my age, and I didnt know what to do. Things between me and my boyfriend had been slipping a little bit even then but I still care a lot about him.
Although he said it was mutual hes said he misses me and I think given the chance I think hed want to get back together. I still care about him a lot and I don't want to hurt his feelings. but I and my crush are both interested in each other and I dont know whether we should hook up or even hang out together bc I dont want to hurt my ex. I I realize its too soon now to do anything but how long should I wait and how can I stay friends with him if I decide I want to be with my crush? And would me doing this block out any chances of my ex and I getting back together in the distant future? (link)

i would worry about hte staying friends thing. Think about it, if you can't date your crush now without worrying about what it would do to your friendship with your ex, how are you ever going date again. i'm sure he'll be crushed for a little while, but if he truely cares about you, he'd want you to be happy. And if you think you'll be happier with this other guy, then so be it. hang out with your crush, and I don't think it would damage your chances with your ex in the distant future. You never know.

I really like this one guy, but the bad part about him is that he's a flirt. He is currently single, but he's constantly flirting with girls and he even has a little black book with dozens of girls' phone numbers in it. He's got a very perverted sense of humor and always asks me if I could do perverted things for him involving taking off my clothes. He's just kidding of course, but is this kind of guy worth my time? Well, I've been in very similar shoes, and it didn't end well. To tell you the truth, it didn't end at all. But the best thing I can think of for you is to invite her to social things, surely her dad would let her go to those. Maybe a party, or the movies, something like that. This way you can talk to her, unless it's a movie, that way you'll definitely get to know her.

It doesn't make sense that all of the guys hate you. It does seem rude that they would do it. Tell them to knock it off, and that if you wanted to ask a certain guy out, you'd do it yourself.

I've really liked this one guy for about two years and I've finally got the courage to start flirting with him. We became friends and everything was going great. I could tell that he had a small crush on me (and that's what I wanted) however, all of a sudden my best friend starts to talk to him. My best friend is a lot prettier, funnier, more athletic, and smarter than me so of course the guy that I like starts chasing after her right away. Once I find this out I asked her if she liked him. She said yes and she was thinking about asking him out soon. I can't help but think that my best friend has stolen him from me because she's known that I've liked him for over two years. I feel jealous, betrayed, rejected... many other negative things. Should I fight over the guy? Forgive my friend? Drop the whole thing and pretend that nothing ever happened? Please help!

Just bear through it. I wouldn't advice seeing a psycho-analist, so don't worry about that. Try keeping away from anything depressing. Ex. Don't watch depressing dramas, instead watch a good comedy. I've been depressed before, a lot of people have, and there are different causes. Some you wouldn't even think would trigger a depression. If you have close friends, it might make you feel better to talk to them about what's troubling you.

Recently this guy said I have a lot of pubic hair. He said it was abnormal. I didn't think it was. He said it looked like a forest. Now I'm really embarrassed about this. He keeps making fun of me and these other guys were asking if I shave. I'm getting a new bathing suit for this field trip I'm going on and I'm going to get some wax so I can remove this embarrassing black hair from my stomach. I looked at the wax I am going to buy and noticed that you shouldn't remove hair from genital/vaginal areas.
Well I know I'm not going to use a razor sinse it can cause in-grown hairs and comes back thicker and makes skin irritated.
I can't use my depilatory creme at home because you shouldn't use it for pubic ahir.
I tried to look for some wax that removes pubic hair but I can't find any and the trip is coming up in 6 days.
Do I have to shave down there? I don't want to! This one girl said she got a mohawk. Okay? Will it look bad if I get a small swimsuit and don't remove the hair? I don't think I should listen to the guy. But if I use a razor wouldn't the hair poke out of the swimsuit? I'm still buying the regular wax for my stomach and bikini line.

Signs: Studdering, uncomfortable shifting, unable to look directly at you, second glance, constantly smiling at you, being rude, etc. the best way to tell him in any circumstance is in person, and it won't affect his relationship if he doesn't feel the same way, and if he does, it would affect it whether you told him or not.

We live in a log cabin (150 yrs old) and we have a problem with carpenter bees eating at the wood. The do not eat at the logs but they do eat at the softer wood in the face boards around the house and at the wood that makes up the porch. The wood is unpainted. I am thinking of painting the wood with a latex paint. Would that help or cure the problem? Is there a pesticide I could put in the paint? Any ideas. (link)

Oh man. Carpenter bees are so scary and irritating, with their jagged stinger, etc. There isn't much you can do to the paint to make them stop, they're like a plague on your cabin. Try spraying the hell out of the cabin with the strongest bee killer you can buy. Just about anything else the bees will just plow through like it was nothing.

I have been dating this guy for some time now and I have caught him lying to me several times already. Lying about stupid things like who he has talked to and just little things that build up. I love this guy with all of my heart but all the signs are there that he is cheating on me and that scares me to death. We were so close for so long and now we really just aren't. I don't want to loose him, but I can't have him lying to me all the time. No he has been doing things, hanging out wise, with all of these different girls and he doesn't tell me about it until one of them call or I find out by him telling a friend or something that retarded. Not sure, he might be. My friend had a similar relationship, she stayed with him for a long time, even though I thought she should have gotten out of the relationship a long before she actually did. Almost everyone drifts apart, there's not much you can do about it. If he's a liar he can't be trusted, and trust is a key element in a good relationship. I know you don't want to lose this jerk, but you should look at it from his point of view. It doesn't sound like he really wants to be in this relationship, nor does it sound like he respects you. If he lies to your face constantly, and hangs out with other girls doing God knows what, he's not worth it. Maybe it's his way of getting you to break up with him, so he doesn't have to do anything. Personally, I would dump him.

First off, I'm a pacifist, so I believe there should be a better way to settle differences than war. My opinion is that there are conspiracies everywhere, and I never take the authority's word just because they know something I don't. This countries history has been based on oppression disguised as democracy. Everything anyone ever teaches us is just a few guys side of the story, with several factors left out to make them look better. They completely left out the fact that we too put people in concentration camps based solely on their race in the second world war. We did far more damage to Japan than they did to us, and we made a movie about how atrocious their attacking Pearl Harbor was. My opinion is that you are not too obsessed with war, our president is dishonest, and people don't think it's important because they don't know much about the issue. They can't see how it affects their everyday life. this is because these issues directly affect their lives in the distant future, not near future. With, of course, the exception of gas being overpriced.

Well, I'm older than 16, but I'll tell you what I think. Yes, girls have cooties. Cooties originated long ago as slang for lice, and some girls do have it. I don't have a rating system. Honesty, kindness, and similar tastes are good qualities. It doesn't matter to me who asks who out. And 5'2 isn't too short.
