I am twenty-one, soon to be twenty-two, and currently work in a loan servicing department. I truly enjoy my job, as well as college, in which I am reaching my last year to receive my degree. Helping others has always been my passionate, from a young age I knew that I wanted to help other people and be a great influence in making someone's life turn for the better. I have an hp computer (its microsoft vista, if that helps) and some how I set it so everything is stretched basically. All my webpages, the tool bar, my desktop, EVERYTHING is extremely large and its hard to navigate. I was playing a game that went into full screen and after that everything was full screen, though I did not set it to do so. Anyone know how I can fix this? (link)

Yes, it's very simple and easy to do. Here are the steps...
1) Go to your Control Panel.
2) Click on, "Display."
3) Click on the tab, "Settings."
4) You'll see Screen Resolution, and a little bar that you can move left and right. Move it until you find a good fit, it will then let you preview it (so you can see if you like it) and it will ask you if you're sure you want that screen resolution. Just keep doing it until you find the right one for you. =)

so theres this girl who thinks shes pretty much the S***. its so weird though, considering shes in 8th grade and im a freshman. shes one of those girls that EVERYONE is in love with, you know. and i dont know why it bothers me so much, but it just does. nomatter what she always comes out on TOP, and the BEST, and shes good at EVERYTHING,,, and shes like perfect. and shes friends with people MY age that I cant even make friends with because theyre "those types of girls." you know? I dont know.. its just like it seems like everything always works out for her and that everybody loves her and wants to be her best friend. and i just need somone to tell me if its all just in my head that shes like, perfect...idk what im even saying haha. i'm getting tired of seeing her be good at everything and nothing bad ever happening to her while i wish i could be that perfect and flawless. is it all in my head? and am i just having lack of self confidence? helppp. thanks :) (link)

First off, it's totally normal how you're feeling. In fact, a lot of girls don't like those types of girls. I have to tell you, I pretty much am the girl that you're talking about, except I'm older, different grade, and for the fact that I don't discriminate through ages or grades. I get along with everybody, no matter what grade they're in or their age. You're probably wondering why I went through this little rant, if you will - it's because I have to tell you that I'm not flawless and neither is the girl you are talking about. She may seem it, but she isn't. The popular people have the same, if not more, flaws than the others.
I think a good confidence boost would help you a lot, that way, you could focus more on your social life, rather than this girl's life. Try looking at this, I hope I've helped you some by giving you a bit of an insider on popular girls. Oh, and the most important thing - being popular is NOT all it's hyped up to be, it's extremely difficult at times.

So well I like this guy. Hes not in my class though. Hes with my best friends class. Last time on msn, we were playing confession so i confessed i liked him. So things were kinda awkward for about a day. Then I started noticing my best friend always with him. But she told me she "used" to like this other guy. Which i know who. And then shes always talking about him and wanting to get close to him. Now im afraid that he might like her. What should I do? she is my best friend though. Is there anyway I can talk to her?

I know how you feel, been there and done that in junior high. I think you should talk to her about it, let you her know you really like this guy and want to be with him. She should be understanding to that and leave him alone, however, it doesn't always work that way, unfortunately. So be prepared if she starts to argue with her, but believe me, NO GUY is worth fighting or arguing over.

Okay, so I went out with this guy who my friends all hated. Hate is a strong word, but that's the only way to describe it. At first they stopped talking to me but they were mature about it and decided not to let it get in the way of the friendship.
They warned me he was selfish, and would probably cheat on me because he's selfish and a rumour spread around about it before. But he was into me back then, and yeah rumours aren't real.
Well, turns out he only went out with me because he wanted something from me, and yeah pretty much cheated. My friends don't know yet, and I don't know how to tell them and how to act and react around them when they say the "I told you so's"

I completely agree with the previous columnist, they shouldn't say "I told you so." I've been in your friends situation before, and I've NEVER said, "I told you so." Friends shouldn't do that. If they do, I would just let them know that you're sorry and you had to see for yourself. Suprisingly, I bet some of your friends would have done the same exact thing. I would remind them of that, if they tell you, "I told you so."

I'm a guy, I always feel these girls like me, but then I find out they have boyfriends and whenever im around them they seem to respond well to me but when there with there boyfriends I kind of ignore them and they seem to ignore me. And when I get to know a girl pretty well and we both want to hook up and stuff she suddenly gets a boyfriend, does that mean she no longer wants to hook up? but ok, the real question is how do I actually know if there attracted to me and I should put the effort of trying to get with them as opposed to just forgetting about it and moving on?? Last month I bought a few gallons of fresh, unpasteurized apple cider (in an airtight container). Now that I open it, it has become bubbly like soda and it smells like vinegar. It still tastes delicious and mostly normal. Is it now just a "harder" cider, or has it rotted? Is it safe to drink? Now that I've opened it, must I drink it immediately? Thanks! (link)

I would say it has gotten harder, and will rot pretty soon. I don't recommend drinking it, just to be on the safe side. Though it probably will not hurt you, as long as you don't leave it set for a couple of more weeks.
