intimidated by a yougerrr person
so theres this girl who thinks shes pretty much the S***. its so weird though, considering shes in 8th grade and im a freshman. shes one of those girls that EVERYONE is in love with, you know. and i dont know why it bothers me so much, but it just does. nomatter what she always comes out on TOP, and the BEST, and shes good at EVERYTHING,,, and shes like perfect. and shes friends with people MY age that I cant even make friends with because theyre "those types of girls." you know? I dont know.. its just like it seems like everything always works out for her and that everybody loves her and wants to be her best friend. and i just need somone to tell me if its all just in my head that shes like, perfect...idk what im even saying haha. i'm getting tired of seeing her be good at everything and nothing bad ever happening to her while i wish i could be that perfect and flawless. is it all in my head? and am i just having lack of self confidence? helppp. thanks :)

First off, it's totally normal how you're feeling. In fact, a lot of girls don't like those types of girls. I have to tell you, I pretty much am the girl that you're talking about, except I'm older, different grade, and for the fact that I don't discriminate through ages or grades. I get along with everybody, no matter what grade they're in or their age. You're probably wondering why I went through this little rant, if you will - it's because I have to tell you that I'm not flawless and neither is the girl you are talking about. She may seem it, but she isn't. The popular people have the same, if not more, flaws than the others.
I think a good confidence boost would help you a lot, that way, you could focus more on your social life, rather than this girl's life. Try looking at this, I hope I've helped you some by giving you a bit of an insider on popular girls. Oh, and the most important thing - being popular is NOT all it's hyped up to be, it's extremely difficult at times.

Firstly Jealousy is only natural... always remember that, theres a time n everyone's life where they are jealous of someone else for various reasons. I do see this as a lack of self confidence, I have to be honest. In ever school theres always that one girl who seems like shes better than everyone else, it probably happens in the workplace as well, I guess its just a fact of life. I think you need to take a step back and think of all the positive things in your life, Whats great about your looks, What your attributes (talents) are and your knowledge eduction excellences. Focus on the POSITIVE things. Write a list. Look back on the times where you felt you were a shinning star. Just to state a fact or perhaps to point something out to you, things probably don't always go right for this girl, she probably has problems that no-one know about and being positive and in the spot light may help her to deal with them. Just remember you are a unique individual and no-one else in this word is like you.
