i'm 14 years old and i want a job very badly. my parents have been low on money so it's hard for them to get me stuff and give me money for the movies, etc. so i'd like to have a job to pay for my own things and to start saving for a car and college and such.

I work at my local church and I get $8 an hour for babysitting the kids while their parents go to Sunday Services. I watch them only once a week, on Sunday, but for three hours so I get like $24 just for that day. I mean, it's not a bad job, but it's pretty easy but I have lots of experience.. I've been babysitting since I was like 9/10 and I know how to change diapers, feed, the whole deal.

Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen was written in the late 18th century (1800's).

There is the movie with Keira Knightley based off of the book. It came out like last year, so it's not an old movie. I've seen the movie and I really liked it.

I'm pretty sure what your friend meant was borracha. Borracha pretty much means drunk (directed towards a person). It's slang and it's used jokingly.

13/f.Recently, I've been classified as a prep. Nothing else just a prep.And to tell you the truth, I don't like it. I like to watch Anime, I love flippy hair, I don't know. That's not prep at all. I tried talking to my friend's about it, and they think it's a sign of becoming emo. And I have absolutly no problem with that, but I'm afraid it might change my relationship's with alot of people. But then I suppose they're not your true friends, correct? Also, this has become to be a bit of a problem because since they guy I like is in fact emo, my friend's think that he's changing me. But it's not him changing me. I'm changing myself. I'm not doing it on purpose, my tastes are just changing. My 8th grade school year is more than likely going to turn out a peice of crap because I'm too busy trying to find my self in the middle of school work, boys, friends, and my family.

Is there any advice you have that might solve my problem? I'm so stuck and I've been crying alot lately because I'm so worried. Is something wrong with me or what?

Hey guys! So I was in walmart recently and I discovered wet to dry hair straighteners. I've seen ads in magazines for them before but they seem almost too good to be true. One of the two I found is called Wet 2 Style made by Remington for $25.47 and it looks like a normal straightener for dry hair. The other is called Infiniti Hair Designer by Conair for $49.94 and it looks like a comb with ceramic plates. I have several questions.

1. Is the more expensive one a better deal?

2. I dont want to have to use the wet 2 dry straightener and then have to go over it with my dry straightener. So, are Wet 2 Dry straighteners worth it?

3. I get phenominal results with my dry straightener. My hair is damaged yes from the heat but its very smooth and soft. Do wet 2 dry straighteners give the same effect?

Also if it matters my hair is thick, wavy, and frizzy. I had a chemical relaxer put on it back in June but it's still a bit frizzy. Basically I want to know if wet 2 dry straighteners are worth it and any experiences (good and bad) you all have had with them!

I've heard that Wet 2 Dry straighteners suck. I really recommend Chi straighteners. They are more expensive (anywhere from $99-$150), but they are well worth it. My mom and I both have Chi's and even though my hair is naturally straight/relaxed, I use it to straighten my ends. My Mom's hair gets really wavy after she takes a shower so she blow dries it and uses her Chi and it works really well.

does anyone lnow how much timewarner digital cable costs?
we hav it basic and we're paying $60/month and that seems like alot for only 70something channels

We used to have Time Warner but since we had to move, Time Warner wasn't available in the area and we had to get Comcast. Comcast was just a little too expensive so we resorted Dish Network. I personally think that Time Warner is too expensive.. Dish Network is my choice.

I'm in a play- Sahara Nights, for those of you who've heard of it. Anyway, I'm supposed to be a worker in the palace. I'm a girl, and my hair is about six inches below my shoulders. Its thick, and a light brown, when its really clean, and I put shine spray on it, it has amazingly brilliant gold highlights[natural]... if I leave it alone for a day, it darkens to an almost chocolate brown. I don't have layers, or bangs, and I'm not getting my hair cut for the show.
My costume is those balloon-y type pants[red silk] a Arabian style blouse[tie dyed pink with gold accents, cotton] and a scarf[gauzy, white with dark pink, light pink, and purple polka dots]... the costume is gorgeous, but I have NO CLUE what to do with my hair...
Could anyone give me good suggestions, and directions on how to achieve those hair styles? As many as you know of, because a lot of typical things frame my face funny, and I'm picky about it.
I DON'T WANT TO GO TO A STYLIST. Between my parents, they can achieve any style, but I need directions for them to see at least somewhat how its done. :) thanks!!!

I think that your hair would look really cute if it was curled, and then put up in those half pony tail things, you know like where part of your hair is down and another part of it is up in a ponytail. I think it would match the theme. Oh & use lots of hairspray! ;]

I want to know if I have problems. Well I will like go a week without eating. But then on like Sunday I will sit and eat alot. I've lost like 7 pounds in like 2 weeks. Well, you need to balance out your meals. You have to eat every day in order to give your body the fuel it needs. I'm certain that its not healthy to stop eating all week and just pig out on one day. Just eat normally so that your family won't think that there is anything wrong with you and to stop being unhealthy. There are healthier ways to lose weight.

ok well i used to be a terrific dancer.. and i got burned out so i took a 3 yr break and im doing it again.. but im a lil rusty. i go to this very excellent dance school but my question is.. if i work hard n practice can i become good again?

I'm sure that you will. You already have the experience, but like you said, you'll need to keep practicing. The same goes for me with tennis, I played for 5 years up until I was 12 and I simply did not have the time for it anymore, but just this past weekend, I went to play and noticed that I still know how to play. I guess it's just how your mind works and it recognizes the ability.

You can find the pills at your local Walmart/CVS/Walgreens. It is actually intended for pregnant women, but women that aren't pregnant can use it as well. Just take one when you wake up, before you eat.
