Definitely cutting your ends every 4 months to prevent split ends. Split ends are what keep your hair from growing, so when you get them cut, your hair is able to grow longer.
I also take a pill every morning and it's called Spring Valley Prenatal. It says that its for Pregnant or Lactating women, but don't pay attention to that. It's actually a vitamin, and it helps your hair grow longer and it helps keep your hair healthy. I noticed that my hair was very smooth and grew a little faster than usual. You can find the pills at your local Walmart/CVS/Walgreens. It is actually intended for pregnant women, but women that aren't pregnant can use it as well. Just take one when you wake up, before you eat.
