Q: ok, I'm 13 and I babysit for this lady who has three kids. One is autistic. She pays me $10. Not an hour. The whole 4-6 hours I babysit. It doesn't seem fair to me but I hate to say something because she is a close friend of my mom and has done many things for our family. Her family doesn't have a whole lot of money either. what should i do?

Ok,
well my first thought would be to just tell her. Come up with a rate that you would want to be charged per hour..ex$4.. So before she pays you bring it up in casual conversation that you charge $.. Something else that migh be a nicer way to approach this subject is by saying you charge like $6 an hour, but trll her that your giving her a 'family' discount and cut the price in half or a dollar or whatever... basically just let her know that you are charging a specific ammount of money. But DONT just walk up to her and say her yea i babysat your kids for 5 hours so pay me more than $10... Since she is a family friend, be sweet and kind to her about it. Im sure she will understand.. If she still doesnt get the picture, always try talking to your mom. Since you said that her and your mom are really close im sure your mom could work some magic!! =]

I personally dont use them... but my mom does. Yes they are perfectly fine to use, and they have worked wonders on my mom =] It doesnt do anything to your teeth except make them white! As far as i know of my mom hasnt had any problems with it, and my uncles a dentist- he says they are safe andgood to use!!

Q: I am a 14 year old female going into my freshman year in michigan. I have found out that i would like to go into nursing and i would like to be a pediatritian, i am looking for a job that i could do after school at Beaumont Hospital starting off as a filing person then working my way up, i would like this job to last until my senior year of high school or for longer. Ok, well i live in CA so hospitaly by me might be different than yours...but anyways, my friend was exactly live you a few years ago. she really wants to persue a career in nursing. she went to our hospital, we have an office, and asked for the director. After a few minutes of talking with the director she came out with a job of caring for the childrens floor. She could have taken a job with filing if she wanted. im pretty sure that the director-or what ever you want to call him- really appreciated her effort and wanting of the job. Since you know you want to do this i would strongly reccomend going on the same path as my friend.
I know its not much to go by... but best of luck! =]

Q: 13/f. going into 8th grade. alright so my parents still treat me like i'm in 3rd grade. i go to bed on 11.30 on weekends & so far this summer [wtf?] and 9.30 for school. i can't talk to any boys on the phone or online, or just in person without my mom being all like ooo you like him or bs like that. my dad doesn't let me go to any sleepovers. or overnight field trips for school. i seriously cant take it... i tried talking to them 39925983 times. what the heck should i do ?? :[

I had the exact same problem when i was your age. my dad did let me go to sleepovers tho...it tooks me a little while but i did everything posible to proove to them that i was growing up. I was always up on time i tried not to talk back, i got good grades, and they were really proud. i decided then i should talk to them again. They actually listened to me then. They got the message that i was growing up. It took a little more time after that.. im talking like a week or too later, and i was alowed to go to parties and stuff. It was really hard, because my parents were really strict about my cerfew, so i stuck with it. Even though i had to be home earlier my parents were grateful that i was making the right decisions, so they pretty much gave me full power.
So im pretty sure that all you need to do is really proove to them that your responsible enough to do other stuff..

So you love it when your friends with this boy, but when your dating him you cant stand him. I think that this should support a decisiion to be friends with him. I know how hard it can be to have a guy that you really like when your friends, but dating him can be a pain. it will be kinda hard to accept that fact that he isnt the guy for you, but keep him close as a friend. maybe later on if yall are still close, you could consider dating him again, and he wont act wierd, he might mature out of it. So if i were you i would much rather be friends with a boy that i can have the time of my life with, than date him and not enjoy it at all.

You could always try fluttering your eyes a lot... it all kinda depends on why and for whom you want your eyes to look inviting! sometimes just staring into someone elses eyes with a kind look can work.

Q: a couple days ago in school we got out yearbooks. our whole school goes into a room and signs eachothers yearbooks and stuff, it's fun.

ok, well i know excatly how you feel, i was in the same place you were in a couple of years ago.. i relised that 12 is way way to young to date anyone, so i would focus on being the bestest friend possible to the guys. You will enjoy having guys as friends in the long run insted of them as your bfs. As for your friends.. well how many relationships last longer than uh.. 2 months?? not very many.. and its not like your thinking about spending the rest of your life with these guys, so wouldnt you rather have these guys as your freinds in the long run, so when the time comes for you to be able to date, you could have some close guy freinds to choose?? If you were to go out with them now, you might loose them as a friend or as anything forever! i would totally start off the day with a smile knowing that i will have nice and longlasting friendships instead of a relationship with someone that could be gone in an instant. Dont be sad or depressed!! Remember guys arent worth your tears!!!
