Q: well i'm dating the guy who's 17 and i'm 16. when we were on our second date recently and I really like him, so I built up the courage and spontaneously kissed him in public. except he pulled bak and said we were blocking people's way ( which is true) but afterwards I didn't wana pressure him so we left it.
He confessed he was too shy to kiss in public. Is that common? I thought kissing someone you adored meant : time stops, everything around you disappears and it's only u and the other person left in that moment. It's magical:)

How can I encourage him and help build his confidence? He's the most laid back person I've ever met, and enjoys holding hands and holding my waist in public, yet he's shy about kissing? What a paradox ay? relaxed but shy...XD

Some people are just like that,it's not uncommon.I actually don't really like kissing in public,i feel like everyone is watching me,which makes things awkward for me.I dont mind a few pecks on the lips,just nothing with the tongue or full on making out.Since it's only been your second date,that makes it kinda rushed to kiss in public,maybe it takes time for him to get used to that.It could also be something he just cant ever build up his confidence for.So i'd say give it time,start out with small pecks here and there so he gets more comfortable with it.If he's still not comfortable with that,wait till he takes the leap and kisses you in public ;) It's all about baby steps :D if you need anymore help,just leave one in my inbox ;)

It gives the effect that your lashes look longer.I used to have a mascara like that and it really does work.

They are curable and can go away completely,but if left untreated can cause serious complications resulting in infertility and chronic pain; syphilis may result in death,some can increase a persons vulnerability to get hiv.So i'd advise you and your friends to stop having unprotected sex and start practicing safe sex from now on.

Im from North Carolina.

About a year ago I met a girl who is two years younger than me from Ohio at a convention in Saint Louis. We didnt talk much then but we swapped phone numbers and now we talk nearly every day; texts, instant messenger, myspace, phone call, etc. I really enjoy talking to her and im certain she does also. Since the convention, we have gotten to know eachother well and are great friends.

I now have feelings for her and I sense that she feels the same way but I dont like the idea of a long-distance relationship. I think it would just become too difficult to maintain despite how often we talk and how comfortable we are sharing things wigh eachother.

Neither of us have acknowledged any feelings but we often speak of relationships. Often she sulks about how all of her friends have boyfriends yet she is doubtful that she will ever have one. I assure her everytime that she most certainly will (not neccesarily me but just in general).

We have planned a trip with eachother for three years from now during the summer she graduates from Highschool. My plan was to not mention my feelings for her untill our trip because we will be older and will be able to visit more often. I could even move closer to her.

I am uncertain how she feels as far as long-distance relationships. I fear that if she does not feel the same way I do concerning them that she will assume that I am not interested in her and will lose interest in me before too long.

Because of this, I have considered talking with her about it but I am uncertain what to say. I dont want to start a relationship with her now because we are still young and it would be hard to maintain. However, I still dont want to ruin my chances of ever having one with her by not saying anything.

I need to make a decision but I think an outside opinion (or two) would be helpful first. Any advice that anyone has for me would be great. She is one in a million and I dont want to blow it.

I'm in this situation myself.I met this guy at a baseball game my sophomore year in high school we talked for like 4 hours we hardly payed attention to the game lol anyways,we exchanged numbers and we talked almost everyday through texts,phone calls,myspace,and aim.He lives a couple states over but visits at least twice a year where i live because his sister lives in my area which is nice.I still talk to him,not as much as i used too but we still talk.He's the same age as me so hopefully he's going to go to college here and maybe get something going :D he's like a guy version of me haha he's perfect.I would'nt suggest the long distance relationship thing,i tried that with my person and it dosent work at all, it really is difficult to do.So if i can wait almost 3 years for my guy you can certainly wait 3 years yourself lol Since your both young,wait till she graduates from high school,and try to have a relationship with her then because like you said you'd both be mature and more able to visit each other.If your bond is that strong,it can last through anything.I would tell her your feelings now,because from the way your explaining what she's telling to you it sounds to me like she has developed feelings for you also.Just say something like "you know that trip we planned after you graduate? well i wanted to know if you'd be willing to try and have a relationship when that day comes" or something like that.Don't be afraid to tell her your feelings,it'll be worth it in the long run ;)

Q: Before this summer started I really liked this guy named Matty. Matty had told me he liked me to and we went to a party together and I was really excited because I couldn't wait to see him. We were together all day/night but after a few drinks I didn't know if he was all there, he kissed me, and I was really happy and kissed him back. When he sobered up he acted like nothing had happened and before I left the party he came clean adn said he just wanted to be friends because we lived too far away. It killed me.

A month or so has passed and we still talk all the time. I find out he still likes me (he doesnt know i know) and I still like him but I don't want to admit it. He talked to one of my close friends about how horrible he felt that he hurt me and how it wouldnt want to do it again and such. Now i dont know what to do? Im hanging out with him in a couple days but im kind of afraid. I really like him but I dont want to get hurt again. How do i know Matty won't do this to me again?

I was in a similar situation as you actually,This guy and i liked each other for a few months and finally kissed....but when he was drunk.Later that night he texted me saying that he didn't want a relationship,he just liked to "have fun" which killed me,he liked me for all the wrong reasons.Seeing that matty said "to stay friends and you lived far away" sounds too me like one of his excuses which really means that he dosen't want anything serious.Which i've heard exucses like that one too many times before.So i would advise you too just watch yourself when you hang out with him,he could just be wanting too "have some fun".If it seems like what he's telling you seems rehearsed or too "cheasy" then i would forget about him,there's going to be plenty of more fish in the sea,there's alot of other great guys out there trust me :D

Q: Okay I don't have a purity ring yet, but I vowed to stay sexually pure until marriage. That obviously means no sex until marriage but does that mean no masterbating or anything like that? Like what are the guidlines most people who vow to stay sexually pure until marriage live by?

good for you :D i just recently,decided to do the same as you,i got my purity ring about a week ago.Anyways,their really is'nt any "guidelines" persay just here is what the bibles version is:

so it's basically,nothing at all sexually including masturbation.But you can make your own guidelines like you can do oral sex before marriage but not the actual intercourse,or masturbation before marriage but no oral or intercourse before that,or no form of sex altogether.It's really what you want to do.Mine is no intercourse before marriage.

Sounds like you have a bacterial infection.Go to the doctors and they will prescribe you with antibiotics depending on what form of infection you have.You could also get an antibiotic over the counter,but i would suggest the doctors first since your not completely sure what kind of infection you have yet.

Wow,what a jerk.Im sorry this happened to you.I've been in situations like this before.One of the guys i was with actually said "he's changed" too.If he calls you,i know it's difficult to do but you just have to ignore it.He knows that everytime he can call you,you'll crawl back to him like he has you wrapped around his finger.If you ignore his calls,he will start to get the picture that your over him and he has no "power" over you.Now,if you guys see each other in school,just be normal with him.Act like he dosent bother you,and youve matured from him.Trust me,a guy like that is'nt worth crying over,ive learned from that myself.There's plenty of great guys out there who will treat you how you should be treated,dont let this guy bring you down ;)
