i don't get it.... i put on mascara and it looks good in the morning and then through the day it looks bad. i tried waterproof type and there harder to take off when they smear. too mess. and then i put eyeliner on and it smears as well. i tried putting foundation under my eyes but it doesn't help...

i'm chinese and any advice on preventing smear?

No offense, but you're probably using a cheaper brand.

I use Benefits 'Bad Gal' mascara and MAC's eyekohl, which is like eyeliner, and I can go into a pool and have it not smear or run.

So, I suggest you try that.

I logged off of AIM on my phone. ive been logged off for about 3 weeks. however, when i log into aim on my computer, it has a group that says "Mobile Device" in my buddylist window.

I think that all the ims i do on the computer are charging to my cell because i'm not completely logged off on my cell. ive tried logging back onto my cell and then logging off. ive tried logging onto another screenname on my cell. and ive tried uninstalling aim on my comp and reinstalling it. nothing seems to be working.
Any suggestions?

No, that's normal.

It's just like another group, like "my buddies" or "family," I'm sure you've changed those names by now though.

The "Mobile devices" is just the group that your phone displays on the mobile AIM as your buddy list because it can't fit all the regular people you have on there, if that makes any sense. It collects a random 30 or so, and you can change it, and delete or add people when you're on your regular AIM. Just by going to the setup buddy list preferences.

So don't worry, you're not still lodged on and there is nothing wrong with your AIM on your phone, nor the one on your computer. You can delete the group if you'd like by going to the buddy list preferences and highlighting it and right clicking delete group. But, every time you go on your mobile aim it will make a new one.

i think my ex boyfriends going to ask me to our valentines day dance. i dont want to go with him because i really dont want to get back together with him but i think that if i go with him hell think i want to. what should i do?

I would just tell him the trust, say " I'm really not interested in a boyfriend, and I feel that if we go together you or I may want to get back together, and I'm not ready for that. " Or something like that. Let him down easy though, because of course you never want to be mean or hurt his feelings. You could also just plainly say "No, i just was interested in going with a group of friends. " OR " I don't think that'd be a good idea."

Okay so, my friend does hooka. I know it's a drug, but it's legal if you are 19 or something...right? Well, she is 15 and her and some of her other friends went to the hooka bar. [never been there in my life cuz i'm not that kinda girl] She told me she wasn't gonna do it again, just a one time thing because she was curious...well, turns out she's doing it again next Saturday. And she was trying to entice me to do it, saying stuff like, "It was sooo relaxing, and it made you kinda dizzy. But then you went to the dancefloor and partied and everything, it was great!" and "you should try it, it would be cool of you." and I was just like..."nahh, I'm good." The I asked her if she was hooked on it, and she was like no...you can't get hooked on hooka. Is that true? [not that I am going to try it..ever.]
But now...you ahve to understand this, she has never been a druggie in her life! And she is now doing hooka, and she just told me that tomorrow she is trying weed. Like wtf, she is turning into a druggie, and I'm friends with some, so it's not like I'm against all of them, but why ruin your life? and why is she trying to get me to do all these drugs when I tell her NO?! I don't know why I'm mad at her, I feel betrayed, she said she wouldn't do that stuff, but next thing you know shes going to hooka bars and smoking weed. I need advice, I need SOMETHING, ANYTHING! comments or whatever would be great. thanks in super advance.

Just to let you know Hookah is not a drug nor is it illegal. It is more like a flavored tobacco. This is just like a ciggarette, so I'm guessing in my state that is, that you have to be 18 to smoke. But, I've also heard there is really no set age.

Many many people smoke hookah, mostly it is associated with the arabic or muslim cultures, but other people do smoke it.

Don't be worried about your friend, it is not like weed. And she isn't turning into a 'druggie' by smoking the hookah.

If you don't want to smoke it, then don't, it's your life, just like it is hers. She makes her own decisions and she has to deal with the out comes.

Don't think just because someone experients with something new that they're going to be hooked on it. Most everyone experiments things every once in a while.

i havent really asked to see what anybody else does, i just started doing this own my own. i shaved down there about one every week. like on a friday. i shave it completely. is this normal? what do most people do? i have a bf and i have a feeling that we're gonna end up doing something soon...so i mean, i don't want him to be shocked because i do it differently than everybody else does. would he be like ew if its completely shaved? and what about if it's completely shaved but there's a little stubble all over. umm i like to feel clean ya know. so yeah... ?

It's all preference. Most guys do like when girls are trimmed or shaved. Some girls either shave it completely or they leave a little design, usually a triangle.

But if you're going to do stuff with your boyfriend i suggest you shave right before you're going to see him.

No, this is not un-normal. Maybe you have a minor minor case of social anxiety, where you can't function in certain places. Maybe for you it's when there are a lot of people around.

Okay, so I'm 15, female, and I'm on the swim team for my school. I love swimming, it's the best sport for me! Anyway, I was in practice a few days ago, and I noticed for the first time that the jets in the pool, blow out warm water. So I put my feet up against one to make them warm. Then, I bent over to look at the bottom at the pool really quick, and the jets were hitting me in a very pleasurable spot! I have no idea how it feels so good. If you're looking for actual UGG Boots, then no you're not going to find them at Payless, Walmart, Target or anything like that.

UGG Boots run from around $139-$280.

But if you're just looking for regular immatation boots then try those places.

First i wanted to just say thanks for your advice. the thing is i cant stop because i couldnt take the chance of my mom finding out i was peeping at them. so.. there are still 6 girls who now can get me to strip for them anytime they want. the last time was a few days ago. this girl julie had me take off all my clothes in front of her and 2 girls i never met b4. i just stood there completely naked while they looked at me and giggled. it really felt wierd standing there nude and they seemed to really like it. but i did it 4 them anyway. thanks again for your advice.

But, I'll tell you what I told you last time. This really isn't normal, at all. It honestly just seems like you're their 'beck and call girl' or 'bitch'. You go and do that for them whenever they'd like you too, and you aren't even comfortable with it. If you don't like doing it, then don't! Honestly, you've paid them back enough for your little snooping incident. Which to me, isn't a big deal where they should make you do all of this for them. These girls, or girl, seem sick for making you do this.

Also, they can't make you do anything, you are your own person, you make your own decisions, NOT THEM.

So, just don't talk to them anymore. If they ask you to do that again just plainly say no, or you're busy, just whatever you do don't do it. Because they're probably going to be keeping this going for awhile.

i'm normally a size 8.5 or 9 but i heard that ugg boots run big so i should get a size smaller but the only ones i can find are a size 9 other than ebay. if i am a size 9 and i get a size 9 will there be an big difference?

No, they will be too big.

I am the same size as you 8.5-9 and the size 7 fit me but with socks they were alittle too tight, so I bought the 8. The 8 are alittle big but with socks they're a lot better.

So, I suggest you don't get the 9 because they will be too too too big, trust me.

I've liked my friend for a while and at my christmas party we were talking about relationships and we'd both just come out of one. We both said that we just want to have fun cos we're young but then we ended up kissing. After we were talking on msn and he asked if i have feelings for anyone so i said him and he apologised for what happened at the party and said if he knew he wouldnt have kissed me. Then at my friends New Years party it happened again but neither of us have mentioned it to each other and we're just acting like friends. So do i carry on with the way things are or try and do something to further the relationship? But im not very confident and wouldnt feel comfortable asking him out or anything.

To me, it seems like he is 'yanking your chain.' He told you that if he knew that you would end up having feelings for him he wouldn't of kissed you that night but he ended up kissing you again when he knew you have feelings for him.

But, then again it really isn't his fault because you two told eachother you were just looking for fun, so you were kind of asking for it.

You can do whatever you want about this situation. If you feel that he has feelings toward you, then go for it. If not, then don't unless you are just looking for fun no strings attached sort of things. You never know he may end of having feelings for you, but you don't know until you ask him.

We've dated 2 years but took a 2 month break a year ago.

Okay.
We decided to take another break on Sunday night, he said we had nothing in common and his parents and friends dont like me. But what hurt the most was when he said "I dont really see you in my future so i dont see the point in still dating" He said how people never marry their first love and if they do that they end up getting divorced because they have never been with other people.

I feel like he would have wanted to break up right then but I convinced him to just spend some time apart. So I thought about our relationship and realized if we got back together I would be the only one trying to change things and he wouldnt want to compromise on anything. I think I would be miserable in that relationship.

So today he texted me and said "I love you" and then a few minutes later said "Lets try to fix things thats if you still want to"

Honestly I'm not sure what to do. He is my first love and I want to be with him, but he said some pretty hurtful things and I'm not sure if HE is willing to make changes.

What should I do?

Well, maybe he is trying to change things because the text message he sent you does seem that way.

So, if it were me, I would talk to him about it, explain to him that those things hurt you and if he's willing to fix things then you are. See if he really feels the way he told you he did on Sunday, because if he does there is no point in staying with him.

Honestly, it would just be hurting you more because you would be falling more in love with him while he still feels that this relationship has no future. It would just be waisting both of your time.

I blow dry my hair every single day. Air drying your hair makes it flatter. For heat protectant spray or cream go to your local salon and tell them what you need and I'm sure they will gladly show you a few options.

When's the best time to get clothes on sale? Like I shop a lot at American Eagle, but I shop on clearance. When's the best time when I can buy the best buys? For all stores?

Honestly, the day after christmas, and the weekend after christmas. But, that is already passed. I'm not sure but find out when their new season stuff is coming out and the store will probably put most things from the previous season on sale.

Also, American Eagle, Abercromie ( & Fitch ) and Hollister always have sales. They have the clerance rooms. Where I live hollsiter has a room and a half of clearance items and ANF has the whole back room, and AE has the last amount of clerance items, about 4 or so spinning racks.

I am a very high-performing student. I have never in my entire life gotten below an 86 on report cards, and have an IQ of 143, which I think is pretty good for my age.

I always used to sit in class and be bored as the teacher rambled on for days on things I could not grasp why others did not understand. There were a bunch of helping classes for low-performing students, but never any AP classes. I mean it's only middle school, but you know, it's four years in the same school.

Just this year (8th grade) they installed an AP Algebra class, but I am terribly bored in other subjects, especially English, which is basically full of idiots.

My question is, why did no one ever install advanced classes, but always gave tons of funding to help classes to kids who aren't going to amount to much anyway? I feel held back and kind of betrayed. Can someone explain it to me? I'm not too informed on the No Child Left Behind Act, but someone told me that's why we never got to get ahead. Now I'm learning stuff that's a year ahead of regular classes for Math, but what about other classes? I get really upset about this.

First off -- those "idiots" are in those classes so they can try to amount to something.

Also, schools with special ed classes get more funding, so that is why schools provide that.

I'm not sure why your school does not have AP Classes. Most schools do. My school has had a gifted class since 3rd grade. And provided AP Classes since the 6th grade. I've been in AP classes since the 6th grade and I'm not a freshman and continuing to take them now. So just wait, I'm sure that once you're in high school they will have classes for us more intelligent kids.

I also used to be puzzled and frusterated about all the special ed children and when people couldn't grasp what I thought was so easy to learn. That's just ignorance.

You're learning at your own pace and your status, other classes learn at their own, so don't worry about them.

Honestly, you may be one of the kids who has the highest grades and scoring and has the most degrees in college, but be less successful then one of those kids who you couldn't understand how dumb they were because they invented something and were creative. Just a thought..

Have fun in Algebra ! It gets harder and more exciting during the end so I'm guessing you'll be challenged :)
