Blowdrying is bad if you always do it. You really need to go out buy a heat protecting spray:
Nexxus Heat Protexx
Kenra setting spray
Blowdrying will make your hair frizzy, fried and give you split ends. If you can't get a heat protecting spray, you can use any other spray until you can buy one.
If I blowdry my hair, it's usually a bit damp so it won't take too much time and too much damage. So a spray wouldn't be needed.
If you have to blowdry, then focus on the bottom layer and the layers surrounding your face and then put your hair up to dry.
uisforukelele answered Sunday January 13 2008, 8:25 pm: air drying is better for your hair, but my hair is kind of crazy so i either have to blow dry it or like braid it wet before i go to bed. if it's possible for you to let it air dry without it looking weird then that would be awesome for your hair. over the summer i only heat styled my hair like three times and my hair was really really healthy, so it does make a difference. if you're going to heat style it every day, then get some leave in conditioner, like infusium 23 which is in a grey spray bottle.
