AY YOO!! my name is sara & i can give some pretty sweet advice =]. i guess i'm supposed to talk about me here .. soo yeah here ya gooo =]

my room's always messy & i hate capitalizing my i's. I'm a picky eater but i eat lots of food (mainly junkfood =D). i am very unorganized and i usually forget my homework, but i'm working on it. i don't like concentrating because i'm not good at it. i'm obviously not perfect, but then again who in their right mind would say so. i like using big words, and yes i do know what they mean. i'm a pretty good speller and i like acting literate when i'm actually not at all. i don't bother with people who don't like me. if you have anything against me, i'm simply not going to waste my time trying to get you to favor me.. in my opinion, its your loss. i type really fast and i use the backspace button alot even though i don't like to. i wish my eyes weren't blue, but i would never get colored contacts. i eat too many famous amos cookies and i love kettlecorn .. mmmm =] i know that i do not have all the answers to life, but i will try my best to help you people out. i'm pretty good at giving advice on friendship related things, because i think i'm pretty good at being a friend; considering i have no enemies. i'm not so good on school work related questions, but ask me them anyway & i'll give you a website where you can try to find what you're looking for =) i hate writing english papers because i suck immensely at organizing my thoughts. i am very gullable & easily influenced. i judge people way too much even though i'm not that confident. i need to stop that. actually, there's several things i need to change about myself, but you're not perfect either. i talk alot and sometimes i mumble because, i don't know why but i just do. i think i do it when i get nervous and i talk real quiet and it's annoying and i hate it. i also talk fast which is another thing i need to stop. i always have something to say, and i won't hesitate to say it. alright i'm done, bye.

My friend Kim is really down because her mom just found out that she has cancer. I had her over to my house to make her feel better, but I don't think it helped that much. I don't know what else to do to make her feel better. What should I do?

well cancer & stuff like that can always be very hard to deal with =( just let her know that you're here for her and try not to talk about your parents. like don't being them up as much because it will just make her think of her mom. maybe treat her to a trip to the movies or you two can go to the mall together .. in the meantime just be the BEST friend you can be and like i said above, let her know that you have a shoulder in case she needs one to lean on =] ♥ hope i helpeddd :D!

well i think that if you're really in love with him (which it sounds like you are! lol) then you should wait for him. I know it's a long time, but it will go by fast if you keep yourself busy. I don't think the age difference is too big of a deal, because it's only 4 years. my parents are 2 years apart, but some couples are like 8 or 10 years apart! as you get older, i'm sure the age difference won't be such an issue. like you said - you've waited a year and i'm sure that during that time you desperately wanted him and thought you couldn't make it, but you did .. you can make it another 8 months =) stay strong! ♥

well i would explain it to him. just be like "well i don't wanna sound like a loser but i don't wanna get in trouble because i want my parents trust back because if i have their trust, i can do more stuff and blah blah blahhhh...." i'm sure he'll understand where you're coming from, because he sounds like a pretty nice guy. if he doesn't accept you or if he judges you for not wanting to get in trouble (which i'm sure he won't) then he's not worth it. if you nicely explain it to him, he should definitely understand.

I went on a date with this guy that had liked me for a long time.
The date was at a local restaurant. He was starting to look a little bored so I tried to use humour to lighten the mood.
I told him that sometimes my dad shaves his face with an electric razor when he's driving. I thought this was hilarious, and other people that I've told also thought it was quite funny.
Well his reaction? He gave me the dirtiest look and never said a word. I felt really stupid.
But I didnt think what I said was that bad.
Was my date overreacting or did he have a right to look that way?

i wanna do something for the childrens hospital for christmas.. i know its too late now but im thinking about next year. has anyone ever done anything like this? if u have, how did u get started and get donations? any help would be appreciated.. thanks

maybe give them a concert or something. like if you know anyone with a really good band or you could get a local one to come play for them. first you need money. (obviouslyy =P) start a fund raiser. maybe have a garage sale auction or sell something at your school. i know at my school they're auctioning off the seniors and whoever gets them they have to like carry their books & all that good stuff. or hold a raffle. if you find something good to raffle at your school or community (things at schools usually work better b/c the people are all like right there) our school is raffling off a cardboard cut-out of our football coach. i know that that's making alot of money. haha

i think you should figure out what you want. maybe go into bed a little early to lay there and think of what you think would be best for you. maybe include your boyfriend in your thought process. his reaction to your questioning the subject will also help you know if you're ready. b/c if he's like 'how could you question it don't you love me' then you guys need to talkkk .. but if he's supportive, then that's more points to you AND him being ready. that's really all i can say on whether you should or not, because like i'm not you lol. if you do end up having sex, just use condoms and birth control. for your dad being a pastor, i don't believe in that whole 'no pre-marital sex' thing because as long as you deffinitely love them - having a ring around your finger won't make a difference, but that's just my opinion. but you deffinitely have to love each other.

i think its really nice that you are trying to help people out : ) you seem really nice and are good at answering the questions : ) but isnt it a better idea to tell people with SERIOUS problems to talk to a respected responsible adult instead of getting advice from a teen?

if you look back at the questions for most of them i said to get help from an adult. for example the one where the mom said she wanted to kill herself i said to get professional help. i said that for more too but thanks for telling me. i'm not gonna take it mean cuz you're probably just trying to make my advice better .. so thanks, i'll say that more for the serious problems. but for somethings, i can help. but again, thanks =) ♥

What does overdosing do to the body if anything?

it depends on what you take an oversode of. like it can make you act completely crazy. (not in a good way) it can make you sick, it can make you pass out and alot more. do a google search on overdosages and look around there if you want more info! =)

ps. please don't think that over dosing on something will make it work better. it's like cooking. if you're supposed to cook something in the oven at 350 for 10 minutes, cooking it at 700 for 5 minutes won't be the same. the cooking temperature and time was given for a reason. same with the dosages. they were given for a reason (because that's the proper way to use them) it can also be called 'substance abuse' which is like using them as drugs or something. which could be illegal

what do you do when your mom says they want to kill theirself? that she is gonna get in her car and drive around a corner and just let go of the wheel so that she gets into an accident and dies!?! hurry the sooner the better!

aw =( be extra nice to her and show how much you care about her. let her know how much it would kill you if she died. if you think she's serious, tell another adult close to your family but only if she's serious. keep her around you alot so you can keep an eye on her. if you think she has like serious depression or if you think she might need help, get her some. ask a trusted, close family member to call a shrink or something like that. just be extra sweet and make sure you let her know how much you love her. hope i helped =\
