You know, good question. Everyone always says the x's are kisses and o's are hugs. I disagree. I think the x's are hugs and o's are kissing. I think it makes more sense. Since when does an x look like a pair of lips kissing something. I think it looks like two people hugging with one arm around their neck and the other on their back.

the x is the kiss because it looks kinda like lips and the o is the hug because it's your arms. yeah i know an x doesn't look like a kiss, but the hug couldn't be the x so the kiss had to be.

The "x" is the kiss because.. um.. maybe you have to have good aim? Haha. I have no idea.
The "o" is the hug because you wrap your arms around someone? Haha. I still have no idea.
