what do you guys consider to be "popular? "
do you think someone that everyone knows of
(as in if sum1 said their name they would automatically know who your talkin about)
or someone who has a large group of friends?
(somone who hangs out with like 15 friends)
this is for a health project, those were questions to ask but let me know what you consider to be "popular" if you dont think its either i rate high thanx alot!
Honestly i dont think either of your "definitions" are correct in my view. Because i know tons of people and people know me. but im not popular.
At my school theres many popular girls. I think most of the popular people are more snobby and that causes lots of people not to like them. Usually popular people only hang out with popular people which cause s a group of snobby people to form so thats my deff. of popular people.
Im not pointing this too everyone just most.

ok well, a few of my friends and ALOT of people in my school and some even carry around condoms in their purses and stuff. some of my friends havnt done it yet but claim to love their boyfriends so their thinking about doing it. they're afraid they'll get pregnat and stuff like that or they're boyfriends will leave them or something. they say that sex is the most wonderful gift you can give to someone. then why does EVERYONE these days have sex ALL THE TIME?!?!? and another thing why is it the best thing you can give someone? i mean really? i personally dont think its a big deal to be a virgin before your married i mean, whats the diffrence? ok ONE last question for you. i love my boyfriend too and i would consider having sex with him(depending on the answers above) but how would i bring the subject up with him? please answer and sorry for all the questions.
Your friends just carry around condoms to be cool. seriously love you guys are only 13 in the 7th or 8th grade. People that young thikn they are ready for sex but you guys are not ready. If younger people had sex with everyone they thought they loved it would be insane.
In other words you don't need to be hacing sex that young. Do you really think that boyfriend of yours will stick around that long for you. As in the rest of your life.
Sex is no the best thing you could give your boyfriend atleast not at that age. Having sex for the first time should be with the guy you want to spend forever with.

ok there was this boy,
and he is my best friend's ex boyfriend.
but she still has feelings for him.
but he broke up with her.
but first time I saw him I had a crush on him too. I didnt tell my best friend, I couldent do that to her! but he had a football game and they won. my friend went to go to the rest room after the game. and I waited on the bentaches the the boy came up to me and sat by me. he said hi. I thought my friend would say it was ok just to have a confersation. then so we talked. the bathroom was like a couple minnets away. then right when my friend came she saw me and him holding hands!
she got mad but after a week she forgave me. that friday we were planning to go to a party. and he was there. soon my friend decided to leave but it was his house and he told me he had to show me somthing. I told him no beacuse of what happened. he talked me into it. then it was his room and you know what happened next yes we had sex.
but now at school I see him and he smiles. I hate keeping this from her.

You can't keep this from your friend forever. think to yourself who means more to you? your friend or this boy who do you think would stick with you no matter what?
You should explain to your friend that you like him alot and that you dont want to ruin the friendship between you and her. If shes a great friend she should understand and she forgave for holding hands. yes sex is a big thing but tell her you were not planning on doing it when you went to the party.

-he doesnt call as much as he used to
-when you guys hang out he barely wants to hold you or kiss you like he used to.
-when you ask him come over or you want to go over there he says no alomst everytime and has the same excuse everytime as why he cannot see you.
-hes changing the way he acts quickly.

Maybe someting is bothering you or your changing like because your a teenager your moods change. Everyones does are you still friends with the people you were with last year? if not that could be why. is there problems going on in your life? did something happen to make you feel like this?

i have a question about people and racism.. why do black people try to take advantage of it? like my school has way more white people than black and if you say someting bad about 1 of the black kids or dont like them just because you dont like them NOT because they are black they just go on saying you are racist. like this boy at my didnt make varsity basketball team because quit frankly he was really bad and his parents sued the school saying they were racist and then they had to take him on the team.i am from the north so normally its not an issue but i think black people try to take advantage of racism.. why?
They just think like that they take it to there abililty atleast i think so im not racist so no one think that. Their mine automatcially says oh i didnt get on the basketball team because im black. Doubt it. Black people say usually say oh cause im black aint it?

yea kinda. i wouldnt even if he/she said it was ohk. They are probly lieing to you if they say its ohk. It hurts them deep inside and it ruins the friendship.

Okay, well I'm not that good of a singer, and I know that. But, I have a beauty pageant coming up, and you have to have a talent, and singing is all I can come up with. I can also tumble pretty well, so idk if I should do that or not. I have a round-off back-handspring, standing back-handspring, round-off back-handspring series, and standing back-handspring series.
So I have 3 questions:
-Should I sing, or should I tumble?
-If I choose to sing, what are some tips to help an amature?
and BTW, the talent has to be 2:30 seconds long.

You sound more conifednet with your tumbling. And plus i dont think many people would be doing tumbling and people think of singing quickly you want to do something not many people would do at the pageant.

I have an algebra mid-term tomorrow. Oh and by the way, i'm only in 8th grade. I've got to study here in a little bit, but i don't really know how to go about studying. like what do i do so i can get a good grade? do you have any websites tht have practice tests? we've gone through 4 chapters. Im not it algebra im in geometry but what i did in that class. After each chapter they have chapter reviews most teachers pull questions from that i would pick like 2-3 problems from each section just so you know how to do it.

I haven't yet had sex with my boyfriend. He has told me that he hasn't had unprotected sex for 2 years, and so I shouldn't worry about STDs. However, he has been sexually active for 5 years - before 2 years ago he had unprotected sex with several partners. 2 questions: how worried should I be about him having something, that maybe hasn't shown itself yet? And how can I suggest to him nicely that he get tested?
Stds dont show up right away it could take several years more hen 2yrs actually. If you guys plan on having sex. You should ask him to get tested. Just to be on the save side.
please help me! ive been crying like crazy for 2 days!
im in an ap class and we have to read 90 pages by tuesday and our test is tuesday over those 90 pages. i have to make 3 outlines over those 90 pages, and they have to include certain vocabulary. however im done reading but some vocabulary i couldnt find and there are some questions she wants us to answer about them and i dont know the answers! i cant simply reread everything! and on my first ap quiz today i FAILED! and im not good at all at the essays that we have to do. i am going crazy i cant stop crying because im so afraid that im going to fail! im crying right now! please dont tell me to see a therapist or councelor! ive asked my parents to drop out and they said that i cant because i need a challenge and the school requires a signature and they call the parents to confirm it! i am extremely worried and i seriously cry so hard because im so afraid that my gpa will be ruined and college will not be available to me anymore. please help me i need so much help! my mom doesnt know im crying but she knows that i get worried about failing. PLEASE HELP ME!!
Maybe you can talk to your teacher or guidnace counsoler to call and talk to your parents. have him explain the class and your grade and how it will only get harder on you through out the year.

Yea. you shouldnt change yourself for anyone. your who you want to be. maybe a couple things:
Change your hair style: like if you wear it up all the time try down or if you wear it down wear it up.
little make-up but it shouldnt matter if you wear make-up.
When you see a guy walking thru the hallway that you know. stop and talk to him flirt a little bit. Even if you don't like him it'll get around to the other guys and they will think its cool and start talking to you alot more.

yea. i have used tampons for the last 2years and it hruts to pull it out kinda. But it should not be this severe pain either. maybe the tampon was to dry.

ok im 13 and a female. my period is three months late! its has been coming steady and iv had it since i was 11 so i shouldnt have missed it. I told my mom and she said i could be pregnant but iv never had sex before! the farthest iv got with a guy is makeing out i wont even let him take my shirt off. im worried that it is something serious. i know it could be stress because im under a lot this month but i wasnt last month OR the month before. somethings really wrong i know it. if i dont get it this month then what am i meant to do? im afraid to ask my mom to take me in to the doctor's about this and my family doctor is a guy! please help what should i do?! and im very sorry this is so long.

You dont really need to be too worried. i started my period and missed a month every now and then and i was worried just like you are. If you dont start up next month around regular time then maybe you need to see a doctor. If you do not want your family doctor to do that the you can ask your mom to talk to the lady/man who makes if to make it with a girl doctor for that one time.

Your way underweight. Doctors told me that every inch over 5fett you add five pounds. In other words you should be around 130 pounds since your 5'6. You Prob need to talk to your doctor about it
