Heartwhisper answered Thursday January 12 2006, 10:01 pm: I don't know how old your scar is.... but if it were me, I'd get some vitamin e capsules and squeeze the liquid out on it. I don't know where you live, but if there might be a natural foods store or an herb store(I live on the Oregon coast in a very small town and am very fortunate to have both, and I was married to the town herbalist for 10yrs and he saved my life), go to these resources and ask them, I know they can be of good assistance. If not go to your library and do some research, there are several good natural healing books with references to your issue, or to scars. Most prepared commercial products are diluted, expensive and less effective than you'll find in those two types of stores. I wish you well. Oh, the vitamin e can get kind of stick icky....perhaps placing the oil onto a good thick padded bandaid would prevent it from getting on your clothes or bed linen?!
