okay so i live in austin texas and i went to SXSW last weekend at Emo's and i saw a bunch of bands including 3OH!3, hit the lights, the secret handshake, the maine, and so many ohers, and while i was there i saw this really good band and I DONT REMEMBER THE NAME OF IT! it started with 'the red' and i cant remember the rest. and no its not the red jumpsuits apparatus. does anyone know who played or can anyone guess who it was? they were the same music genre as all those other bands so if anyone knows that would be great! thanks in advance :]

So I met this amaaiiiiiiiiiizing guy!

I've never experiences this and hope I never do. Why would you want somebody licking your face? Why would you want to lick theirs?

Hey, I just started with The Gossip Girl Series
(Yeah Late)...So, i read the first book... Do you think I should read 'You know you love me' (the 2nd book) next or can I just pick randomly from the series...
If you think I should pick randomly then which one should I go for?
Oh, another thing, I will be starting college soon, so should I stick to Gossip Girl or should I just go for The It-Girl...
I sound like a moron...lol...But I get confused when it comes to books...haha

Honestly? The show doesn't really go with the books too much. Some of the main stuff does come from the books, so I'd read the Gossip Girl novels in order first.


After reading Gossip Girl, then start The It Girl series. It's a really good series, and I think you'll like it a lot :)


And you should definitely watch the first season of Gossip Girl, it was REALLY good and better than this season (at least, in my opinion).

does anyone have unconventional ways to fall asleep? like does listening to white noise help?

I have a sound soother that has sounds like white noise, ocean waves, rainfall, summer night, etc. It really helps me when I can't fall asleep; I recommend getting one :)

Here is my problem. Its long.
I've had the same best friend since 7th grade. I'm now in 11th, 10th grade we didn't really end, we feel apart. We fight constantly & I want to move on but still be her friend. I'm sick of the fighting everytime I do something without her but she can do things without me. She hangs with groups on the weekends who hate me & I'll sit at home & Every once n a while do something. I dont want to lose her, I want to get better. I don't know how though. I'm almost scared to talk it out with her because it'll just lead to a huge argument & then we probably will end. I'm just sick of how I get treated by her too.

This is a hard situation to be in, I know because I've been there =/


The way I see it, this girl is not a very good friend. When you said that you can't do things without her, it shows she's insecure about your friendship and maybe jealous when you spend time with other friends. When you said that you're almost scared to talk to her, it almost made me sad because if she really is your best friend, you should be able to talk to her about ANYTHING. That's one of the things that make a best friend, a best friend.


I think you should talk to her about it, because it seems like it's really bothering you. Just tell her that you don't want this fighting; you want to be friends and REAL FRIENDS don't fight like this. Let her know that it's making you feel really bad, and you want it to stop. Explain to her that you don't understand why it's ok for HER to hang out with other people but it's not ok for you. Make sure, though, to let her know that you value her as a friend, and that just because you spend time with other people does NOT mean that they mean more to you than she does.


Honestly? The other option you have is move on and find new friends. I know it's hard, but you'll feel better in the long run because you won't have to deal with the constant fighting and feeling bad. Just start hanging out with her less, and slowly let yourself drift away. Like I said, yeah, it's going to hurt, but is it really worth it to keep fighting with somebody whose SUPPOSED to be your best friend?

i want to send my friend something, he lives in colorado and i live in new jersey and i want to get something for his little brother too, whose 6. I was just wondering if anyone knew something i could send for his little brother for easter...i was thinking like a bunch of easter eggs or chocolate bunny or something of that nature, but i dont know if candy would melt or anything from here to there...any advice would be great.

I think it's really nice that you're getting something for his little brothers, it's an excellent idea. As far as what to get him, here are some suggestions:

I need some unique ideas on ways to ask a girl to prom! Please help ASAP!

If you have snow where you live, I almost melted (no pun intended, I swear!) when I heard this one:

Build her an igloo, and inside with Christmas lights spell out "Prom with me?" or something of that nature. My friend's friend did this, and I think it is the cutest/most creative way I've ever heard of :)


Other than that...
You can write her a song! Does your school have announcements? If so, sing it to her over the announcments. That would be really neat ;)
