This guy used to be my best friend. This was about 3 weeks ago but then he changed. Hes turned really hateful. The problem is I still Like like him. I have for over a month now. At first we used to flirt all the time, we always talked, and I trusted him with everything. Then everyone in school started to notice and bug us about it. As a cover up I lied to him saying I liked this guy that every girl likes because I didnt want to ruin our friendship. But then I felt really bad for lying and I in a way told him the truth. I told him how I didnt think I should like anyone because no one would like me then when he asked who I told my friend I like I told him that I said him because everyone thought so. That was about 2 weeks ago. Now we barely talk and when we do people try to make a big deal out of it. But I STILL like him no matter how much of a jerk he's been lately. I can't stop thinking about him and his actions have worried me so much my best friend is worried about me cause she says Im never myself at school anymore because usually im the girl we joke around with in the group whos always joking around and laughing and smiling while lately i cant stop thinking all the time about him. Anyone have any tricks on how to stop liking a guy? or even just some advice?

I don't think he's being a jerk on purpose, but he's probably uncomfortable around you because now he knows that you lied about who you liked & that you kinda told him that it was him you liked. He's still getting used to the fact that you like him & he doesn't know how to handle his feelings.

I'd talk to him about it. I know people are making a big deal about it, but if they've got anything to say to you about it, just tell them to fuck themselves. Your personal life with your friends, & who you like is none of their business, and if they think it is, they're pretty stupid. Just, talk to him about it & ask him straight out why he's being weird around you. If he says he's not, point out the things he does to prove it to him that he is, and tell him you won't be hurt if his answer is bad. You might be lying by saying you won't be hurt, but you deserve to know why he's being weird. And if he's your best friend, he at least owes you that much. But then again, you did lie to him, so maybe not.

Ask your sister what she wants for christmas. Get her something she doesn't have, or really likes. Tell her to make a list of things she really wants, that she hasn't ask your parents for. That way, it's easier. As for your parents, does your mom like to cook? And does your dad like to fix stuff? If so, buy your dad a tool set & buy your mom new silverware. It seems like a dumb gift, but they'd probably like it.

I would talk to her. Ask her if she still likes him or has feelings for him, if she says she does, I would tell him that you guys can't be together because you don't wanna hurt your friend. To him it might seem like "she just doesn't like me." Explain to him that you do, but if dating him is going to hurt your friend, you're not gonna do it. If she says she's okay with it, continue the relationship with him & don't worry about it. :]

alright, well lately my gf has been acting kinda weird- like she signs on aim, puts up an away message that says something like :-( or "i just don't kno nemore" and it's really starting to bother me. i ask her what's wrong and tell her that i love her so much and half the time she doesn't say anything and the other half she signs off...

Okay, I would call her & ask her what's going on. If she doesn't say anything to you, or says "Nothing" you know it's something. Tell her that you're there for her & that whatever it is, you won't get mad at her, but you want her to tell you because it's important to know how she feels. Communication is key in a relationship. I'd just talk to her & if you don't get anything out of her, ask yourself if this is the girl you wanna be with. The girl who won't let you know how she feels, and has away messages that worry you. And then ask her if she still wants to be with you. Hopefully it's nothing major & you guys can work it out.

ima freshman. ok so i had drill team tryouts and i made it! i was really happy. but i also have Junior varsity Cheerleading tryouts in march. Ive been doing cheerleading for 4 years and i guess its ok. i cant do both at the same time though. Should I still tryout for Cheerleading? or stay with drill team? both is a big deal. I don't really like the idea of dropping dance team for cheerleading cause taht means the people who didnt make it could have taken my spot.

I kinda wanna be a Drill team member cause they dance at varsity Football games, and Jv Cheerleading is only JV Football games. But JV is a bigger deal cause its only 10 people who get picked and Drill team is 20 freshmans.

Should i tryout?? or just stick to drill team? Thanks

If you really like both, then do both. I would talk to the JV coach and Drill Team coach about it, and find out what'll happen if you do both. If the practices aren't on the same days at the same times, then do both. :]

If you already told her to stop & she didn't listen, I'd stop being friends with her. She probably doesn't get it, and she's abusing you, really...

Anyways, if you don't wanna stop being her friend, I'd do the same thing back to her ten times harder. That way, it'll give her a wake up call so she can see how much it hurts/bothers you.

My boyfriend is in resource room, and he sits with one of my friends. He tells me he doesn’t like her, and I understand the resource teacher makes them sit together, but she always has her foot in between his and she is always talking to him. I'm getting kind of jealous! Is he cheating? One of my other friends told me about it, and my boyfriend told me he talks to the girl in resource to be nice. You said you trust your boyfriend, right? Okay, so if you trust him, why are you still upset over it. He's your boyfriend, take his word for it.

It is kind of hard to not get jealous, I know. But if it bugs you that much, talk to them both.

But don't jump to any conclusions, because in the end, it'll just bite you in the ass.

You can't make them go away, but they will go away eventually. I got over my boyfriend in a course of 5-6 months.

I just told myself that if it didn't work the first time, it wasn't going to work again. And I realized he wasn't coming back, and that it was better to just be friends with him. And, it is. I realize now that he's pretty mean, and I didn't see it before.

Anyways, there is no specific way to get over somebody & there is no time period of how long it'll take. It's different for everybody. But, you'll get over it eventually, and things will be fine. :]

okay well i like this guy and he is really great funny, smart, and way cute.but i found that he was 11 turning 12. one i am an eigth grader and he is a seventh.what do i do i want to talk and flirt with him but what is stopping me is that he is 11. he doesnt look 11 he looks 13.

I'm sort of in the same position. My boyfriend is about 5 years older than me. But it doesn't stop be from liking him because I like him for him, not his age. And besides, he doesn't even look his age either. He looks 16.
