You can't make them go away, but they will go away eventually. I got over my boyfriend in a course of 5-6 months.

I just told myself that if it didn't work the first time, it wasn't going to work again. And I realized he wasn't coming back, and that it was better to just be friends with him. And, it is. I realize now that he's pretty mean, and I didn't see it before.

Anyways, there is no specific way to get over somebody & there is no time period of how long it'll take. It's different for everybody. But, you'll get over it eventually, and things will be fine. :]

You can't just make feelings go away. There's really no exact methods to get over a guy. I know i went out with a guy for over 5 months and then we broke up and it took me over 5 months to get over him, and i've had other boyfriends. But having feelings for your ex is natural. Ofcourse your still going to have feelings for someone you cared about, and if you found a new guy be with him and be happy dont let your feelings for your ex get in the way of your new found guy interest. :] hope i helped
