Hi, I'm going to high school this year and I want to make a splash. I have changed a lot over the summer to more of a fun-loving and more confident person. I just got a great haircut, but I want some advice on clothes that I can wear that aren't too expensive and are modest (also, any ideas of stores that have good clothes, but not too expensive). I'm 15/f, blue eyes, blonde hair (shoulder length and layered) I am 5'3 and I weigh 105 pounds, so I have a thin frame. Any advice would be great!
I just spent less then $150 and got about 6 outfits at forever 21 and charlotte russe, i have more of a preppy style, so if you search around in there you can find some amazing buys!
i also go for hollister and abercrombie.
but heres something that helps me save alot of money. [ go to the back, they have clearence shirts and stuff for super cheap ]

Ok so my friend's coming over and we want to make out, but I have this fever blister {cold sore} but you can't even see it anymore because it's going away. Could he get one or get sick? I was going to tell him before we made out that I had one and if he still wanted to because you can't even tell it's there. I was just wondering thought. Thanks!!!

i had a friend who tried to " help me out " by telling me to cut my hair, wear different clothes and such. i later found out, she did all that stuff because she was jealous of my looks and she thought if she made me uglier, she could get my boyfriend, gah shes a bitch i hate her.

okay im a cheerleading. all of my years of doing i have been a flyer well this year im not flying at all. im in the back for a lot of the cheers so far & i just dont think this is right. this is my 7th year that i have been doing it. should i say something to the coach or should i just wait and see what happens? like this is only our 4th-5th practice so far? but im sick of like not doing anything. i front spot two things and then they dunno waht they are going to do with me for this one mount because some other girl replaced me. so im thinking im probably going to have to hide behind a mount & i just don't think this is right. any ideaS?

Try your hardest, no joke, try hard. Do everything perfectly and show the coach. If she still doesn't pay attention to you, tell her you've been working really hard and you'd really appreciate it if she gave you a shot at flying, or being in the front of a formation.

ok all of my friends are having sex (and there all around 15 and 16, and i am 15.) And I don't feel like people our age are ready to have sex yet...but all of my friends are telling me how much fun it is, and they kept telling me how i need to lose it. I kept telling them that i'm not ready, but they keep pressuring me to have it. How can I get it throgh there head that i'm not ready and I don't want to lose it untill i'm ready?
Same problem; except me and my friends are thirteen. Way too young, don't get me started. Heres what I think: They`re making you do it, not true friends. Yeah its hard, giving up friends, but I`m working thru it. I`ve gained so much self respect and confidence knowing I have the power to say no to things, and save myself.
Who wants pregnancy and STD's at such a young age anyways? Just wait until your ready, tune em out for now. Any guy that pressures you too, isn't worth it, trust me. :)
I'm 14 year old gurl. okay to my question..I like my moms bestfriends son, my mom and his mom have been friends since highschool and there now around 40 years old. Anyways I like her son and he likes me too..we have discussed dating eachother, and really want to but our parents won't let us because their afraid if we break up that it will destroy their friendship, I just really want to date and be with him but dont want my mom and his to hatte me for it.
Your mom makes a good point. None the less, a harmless relationship shouldn't ruin years of them being friends. Most ex`s go back to being friends after they have a little time to re-cooperate. Let your mom know, that if something happens between you and the boy, you're both willing to try your hardest to keep the friendship alive. :)

Breaking up may be jumping too fast;
Talk with him, ask him to apologize to your friend and make him promise not to do it again.
If he doesn`t, or refuses too; then it might be time to break up with him. Guys make mistakes, if you really like him, just talk to him. =)
I'm going to be going to Hawaii in a week and it's a 5-8 hour flight. I'm TERRIFIED of planes...I have this phobia that they will crash in the middle of the ocean and I'll die. I would really like some advice about things I can do on the plane to take my mind off how scared I'm going to be and some techniques I can use to help me not be so scared. I own a laptop and I'm 13.

My dad works for an airlines, so I've been flying since I was real little. While you`re in the air, keep yourself busy, bring plenty of magazines, books, games (like crosswords) to do. Since you do have a laptop, be sure to charge that before hand and bring it too! You can also bring a CD player, iPod, or MP3 to calm yourself down. The pilots know what they`re doing, so you`ll be safe. Just try to relax, and if you have any questions, the flight attendents will be happy to help you. Safe Travels =)
I have curly hair a little below my shoulders and I really want it to be straight. With the straightener I have right now it takes me about two hours to straighten my hair after I shower, so it's starting to prevent my from showering as much. What kinds of good cermanic hair straighteners/products are there? I did some research on an Oblivie Hair Straightening System, does anyone know anything about that?

Try Forever 21. Their clothes range from preppy, to scene, and from vintage to boho. They have a little bit of everything. The prices are also EXTREMLEY cheap, shopping online gives you more options, and cheaper prices, but the store itself has great stuff, its just not a common store in malls.

I'm going to a nail salon for the first time. I want to have tips put on, like the complete full acrylic nail, so my nails look longer, and have the french manicure look. I was wondering approximately how much will this cost? Do I have to include a tip also? Do I have to scheduale an appoitment?
Cheaper nails cost about $25, and the more expensive ones around $45. Since you want french acyrilics, it will cost a little more, it really depends on the place. They may ask you what kind you want, tell them you want French Manicured Acyrillics, gel kind if possible [theyre easier to get off but they do cost more] A tip may be included, I would to be polite, especially if they did an acceptable job. Most salons allow walk ins, I would call ahead just to check.

I tried to upload a picture on my advice column but it said it was over 15kb, how do you make a picture smaller?
Open the picture on paint.
Go to the "Image" tab.
Hit Stretch/Skew.
Experirement with diff. sizes until one works.
Put a number in only the FIRST TWO BOXES, [Don`t do anything with the second two.
Then hit okay.
Below is info on sizing numbers.
If your picture only needs to be decreased by
a LITTLE BIT, use a small number like 15-30.
Big pictures, anywhere from 40-90 depending
on the pictures orginal size.

Okay well if you`re like off alone, just talking to him and he`s talking you could just like put your finger to his mouth and then lean into kiss him. Or if your talking, just slowly quiet down and then lean youre face into kiss him, maybe say something sweet to him like " I`m so glad I`m here with you." Just kiss him, he sounds like he wants to kiss you back! =] just relax and have fun with him, keep it clean!
i dont have curly hair, but my hair isnt as straight as i would like it to be, and the bottom of my hair flips out, which i hate!right now, i use the remington wet2straight, but lately it hasnt been straightening my hair like it used to.what type of straightener would you reccommend for me?i dont need a straightener for very curly hair, but i like my hair to be basically stick straight. i've heard that the Solia straightener works very well,some people swear by it!but it is a bit pricey.if the Solia works as well as people say,and it is worth the money, then i'll buy it.

I have verizon, I like it the best cause I get alot more service then with Cingular and all my friend`s have verizon, so I get to chat with them for free. We get 500 free minutes [100 for each fam. member] and free on weekends and after 9 which works out good for me. You can choose a text plan too, right now I have free 250, but you can get unlimited to verizon, and up to 1000 to others. =]
