If you have microsoft word then what you can do is to make it smaller and then save it and upload it. ]
I just went thru this problem the other day. Found my own solution. On advicenators profile settings click browse and upload the pic there, right click to copy that info and paste it in the line above URL. (delete it out the other one once you have it in the URL block. Poof your done. ]
-Go to [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
-Upload your picture
-Copy the URL of the picture
-In PROFILE SETTINGS, insert the url in PHOTO URL.
if that doesnt work, try making the file smaller or ask me if you need more help! :] goodluck! ]
You can open it in paint, then click image, then stretch/skew, then put the percent of its original size you want the image to be in the two fields. ]
Open the picture on paint.
Go to the "Image" tab.
Hit Stretch/Skew.
Experirement with diff. sizes until one works.
Put a number in only the FIRST TWO BOXES, [Don`t do anything with the second two.
Then hit okay.
Below is info on sizing numbers.
If your picture only needs to be decreased by
a LITTLE BIT, use a small number like 15-30.
Big pictures, anywhere from 40-90 depending
on the pictures orginal size. ]
i have a program called Irfanview and it works good for this, and stuff like myspace for resizing. ]
