cheerleading.

Question Posted Thursday July 13 2006, 11:27 am

okay im a cheerleading. all of my years of doing i have been a flyer well this year im not flying at all. im in the back for a lot of the cheers so far & i just dont think this is right. this is my 7th year that i have been doing it. should i say something to the coach or should i just wait and see what happens? like this is only our 4th-5th practice so far? but im sick of like not doing anything. i front spot two things and then they dunno waht they are going to do with me for this one mount because some other girl replaced me. so im thinking im probably going to have to hide behind a mount & i just don't think this is right. any ideaS?

well the back is inportant. you have to make sure someone doesnt fall. and it may not be all bad, i have gone from flyer to base to back then back agian to base and once more flyer. your postion could be changed. dont worry too much about it but if it does really bother then talk to the couch and ask why she has moved your postion and see if there is anything you can do. i hope i helped!

Yuck, I`m in this situation right now too.
Try your hardest, no joke, try hard. Do everything perfectly and show the coach. If she still doesn't pay attention to you, tell her you've been working really hard and you'd really appreciate it if she gave you a shot at flying, or being in the front of a formation.

I hope everything works well :)

Yeah, you should say something to the coach. Just tell her that you're usually a flyer & that's what you're more comfterble doing. If she says she doesn't want you doing that then have some of you & your friends do a mount before practice & make sure she's watching so she sees how good you are.

Hope I helped.
