how would you react/do if you found out that your 16 year old daughter that you had alot of trust with told you she was pregnant.you guys were not really that close but didnt really fight or anything. (please be realistic!)

I would be there for her and support her in any way possible. I'd say, "Hey, these things happen. Now you gotta deal with the responsibility." But I wouldn't let her deal with it alone. I am being realistic about this. She would already feel really horrible, I'd be the last person she could trust. I wouldn't turn on her for anything.

okay i am 14/f in case it matters

okay well you see, my cousins from arizona came up for christmas and new years to visit us. one is 16 and the other is 22. well they came up and they were staying at my grandmas hosue. well i wanted to hang out with them so i figured id spend the night (by the way both of my cousins are guys). anyways so i got there and my grandparents werent there. my cousins said that they went to dinner 2 hours away at some really fancy returaunt. well, they took me upstairs and they told me to sit ont the bed. they started kissing me and slowy putting their hands down my pants and up my shirt. since i had never had a real boyfriend befor they told me that they were only showing me what to expect when i had one. so thye kept doing all this stuff to me and made me do some weird stuff to them and practically forced me to have sex with them.

This was rape. You need to tell your parents or somebody. It's hard, but you have to remember that you didn't do anything wrong. Just because you weren't able to stop it does not mean you consented to it. You are a victim of incest, you should tell an adult you trust right away.

It didn't really mean the physical size, it meant how much memory the actual file takes up. The best thing to do is go to www.tinypic.com and uploading it there. Then it will give you a URL for the picture. Highlight that and go to edit and copy. Then come back to advicenators and go edit your column. There will be a space for you to put a picture URL into. Go to that and then go to EDIT and click paste. That's what I did for my picture and look, isn't it beautiful?

i really want a baby really bad. like i dont want one for "love" like most of those other girls out there but i think i can really do it and raise a child. ive been having dreams for monthes and ive wanted a baby since i was little but down its been driving over the edge. every night i dream about being pregnant and i want it to be real so badly! im not worried about the money or anything like that but mostly how my parents will react. i think i can haddle it and my parents say i am always great with children and i really feel like god wants me to do this or something.

Well, I know how you feel. It just means that you're a sensitive person and that you're very in touch with a fertility Goddess. But I'm telling you--wait until after high school. Babies cost a lot of money to take care of, you will need to work full time which you can't do while in school. And being pregnant during school hours will basically just suck. There are a lot of really gross aspects to pregnancy too and it'll be hard dealing with that on top of the normal pressures of school. If you love your future child you will wait until the right time. I know it seems like the right time now, but if you get pregnant and then find you can't handle it? Just a few months ago I felt the exact same way that you do, and now I feel completely different and am I ever glad I didn't get myself knocked up. When you have a baby, your life is no longer your own. Are you really ready to sacrifice EVERYTHING for a child?

I don't even think you can get pregnant but there is a greater chance of getting STDs. Also, anal sex is very painful and a lot of times not worth it. Plus it's illegal in all fifty states even between married couples so don't get caught.

No, you can't become gay. Well, look at this way, my personal opinion is that people aren't homosexual or heterosexual, we're just sexual. Sometimes people will repress their emotions and be "gay" or "straight" because of something that happened when they were children, or maybe they just would have turned out the way they are regardless. If your sister seems to be a normal, happy, well-adjusted gay person then I wouldn't worry, but if she's sexually abusing little girls then you should get her professional help.

That's okay, your period sort of stops when you're in the water. It's hard to explain but yeah, just make sure you put your pants on RIGHT when you get out of the water. But for some reason when you're underwater no blood comes out. Neat, huh?

I don't understand what I DON'T have that guys (in middleschool) would want! They are always going out with girls that are completely outgoing! I don't think he understands what "breaking up" means. If you think he's too close, you should tell him to back off. Or ask him if he likes you. I mean, if your comfortable to do all that you should be able to ask him upfront how he really feels. It sounds like you two really need to talk about your relationship. Maybe he likes you, and you'll end up going out again. Or maybe you'll find out that he thinks of you as just a really close friend that he can be very comfortable with. You never know until you talk to him about it.

Try to get over him. He's not a good guy. Try to think--what made you in love with him? His smile? His sense of humor? The way he flirts with you? These are all bad reasons. A good reason would be that he respects you. Or that he doesn't date your best friend and lead you on. It's not your fault you feel that way about him, and I'm not trying to judge you. But this is the type of guy you want to stay away from. He thinks it's fun to play with girls' emotions. Either that or he's just too dumb to realize he's doing it. Whichever reason, he's a less than stellar catch. You should look for some more mature who respects you as a person (and also has a great smile, sense of humor, and flirts with you).

what is love really about?

I saw this question a while ago but didn't answer because I had to think about it.

And I've come up with an answer. And here it is:

Love is about finding someone else to make you feel like a whole person, because you have a job and responsibilities and there just aren't enough hours in the day to get everything done and you just feel too tired and emotionally to do it yourself.

Either that or chickens.

That's just my opinion though.
