I don't understand what I DON'T have that guys (in middleschool) would want! They are always going out with girls that are completely outgoing! I'm not COMPLETELY outgoing, but I am a little crazy sometimes. I wouldn't say I'm ugly or anything. I mean even my friends who are ugly get really cute and nice guys. I have a few guy friends, but I don't really know them even THAT well. They only open up to the outgoing crazy girls! WHAT IS WRONG WITH IMMATURE GUYS IN MIDDLE SCHOOL?!?!

What's wrong with guys in middle school? THEY'RE GUYS IN MIDDLE SCHOOL, THAT'S WHAT! They're children. It's a known fact that girls mature at a faster rate than boys. You want a real relationship, and the boys at your age...well...my mom explained it like this. Adolescent boys are like puppies. They're wildly energetic and crashing into things. You know that your body is going through a lot of changes right now, and that will last for quite a few years. Guys go through it, too. They're just now discovering new feelings about themselves and about girls and becoming adults, so they're basically just experimenting. So none of them want to go out with you. Do you really want to go out with a puppy? Trust me, you're not missing much.

Number one, you just gave yourself an answer. Guys are immature, ESPECIALLY in Middle school. I've seen relationships in the fourth grade that are more serious than middle school ones are. I would wait, and find somebody right, not just some dumb guy that is completely stupid. I don't want you to take any offense in what I just said, and I probably won't have any more guys visit my column, but really, you know they are immature.

Yeah I totally understand where you're coming from. I'm in middle school also, and it just seems like a lot of the guys just want to be immature around their friends and such. There isn't anything wrong with you, because there will be one guy who will love you for everything you are, and everything you aren't. All you have to do is wait, because a guy will come to you soon. I sometimes think to myself, "Why the heck can't I find a guy who will like me?" but it's just because of our ages and how everything is starting to change with certain things. Just wait and give it time.

You just answered your own question. The guys in middle school ARE immature. They are still BOYS, and by no means capable of having a real and meaningful relationship with a girl. Don't be so hard on yourself, or them. You all have some growing up to do before you can really start dating.
My brother is in middle school, you know what him and his friends want: To play video games and sports. The only intrest they have in girls is to see them naked. They have no interest in having a girlfriend.
