It is indeed. Your body will go into starvation mode, and when you DO eat, because sometime you WILL eventually have to eat-- your body will store all the stuff [effectively making you gain weight] so that when you don't eat again, your body can live off of the fat. [stored up stuff]

Unless you're doing it for some specific reason, I wouldn't do it. It's horrible on your hair.
BUT, If you want to do it anyway, take a comb and start at the ends of your hair, and run it upwards, rather than downwards. Continue until it almost resembles.. a rat nest, maybe?.. and style like desired.

Thirteen's a perfectly fine age to start shaving-- that's around the time that I did. I can understand how you're shy around your Dad, because I was too at your age. Just casually bring it up one day. Like, when he's all, "we need to go to the store." be like, "hey daddy? can I get some razors?" and he'll be like, "Why?" and you can tell him, "well, most of my friends are shaving around this age, and I'd really like to start."
Just try to keep it casual and take deep breathes, kay? Just explain to him that you're growing up. I mean, how would you ever get pads or tampons if he never knew about it?
Oh, and just incase you don't know what to get-- Venus Vibrace or Venus Breeze are both good razors. :]

Black head strips really do work. They don't damage your skin, they clean it. :] I get Biore blackhead nose strips for $6 a box, and there's like, 8 in there. You use them once every three days. I'm not completely sure about pore strips, though, because I've never had to use them.

Try finding another friend that has a myspace, and be like, "Mom, they've worked out their own private deal between the two of them. I don't want to mess that up. [insert other friend's name here], on the other hand, and her mom, would be glad to tell you all about it."
There's nothing wrong with myspace if you use it responsibly. Like, odviously, don't talk to strangers.

I've had that happen before, actually. And I'm not completely sure if this is exactly what you're supposed to do, but it worked for me... I uninstalled Itunes and reinstalled it, and it worked fine. Or, you can manually put all the music back in there? That's all I've got.

Scrubbing, basically. I get Biore blackhead strips for $6 and has like, eight strips in there. They're really easy, but if you don't want to buy them then you'll just have to scrub.

Ok, a couple of days ago I'm IMing my friend and I tell her to hang on I had to use the restroom. Well, when I come back and start talking to her again, she asks what I was doing. I said, "just going to the bathroom." She said, "yea, i know but what were you doing?" I got mad because I knew what she meant by that. I got really mad when she asked, "Did you start your period?" I told her to stop asking, but she said, "No, I have every right to know what's happening to you." I need advice on what do do. She won't leave me alone about personal stuff! my brother has been acting strange latley.
Im not sure if its because of the death of my aunt, who my family was really close too. But that was 2 months ago, so i dont know why hes being weird now.

That's pretty understandable. He just wants his family to all be safe, and to all be with him. He just wants to protect you all. Shock can set in whenever it does-- maybe it's just now sinking in completely for him. I'm pretty sure it's just a phase, because my family's gone through something like that in the last year-- just keep an eye on him-- make sure you don't just ignore it when he's acting strange. Talk to him, if you can, too. Let him know that if he needs you, you're there and that you know that he's hurting. He should be over it before too long.

Ah, blood tests. Last time I had one I fainted afterwards-- I felt light headed. But it was odd, I've had blood drawn a million times and it only happened that once.
What they do, is put this rubber band time thing tightly around your arm, slightly above the elbow and tighten it until it almost stings. When you straighten out your arm [usually it's the left one.] you can see a little blue vain right on the inside of your elbow. They poke a small needle in there and get as much as they need.
To see how bad it'll hurt, touch a needle or safety pin to the tip of your finger. Barely press down. [just enough to feel it]
It's about that hard.
Your vein won't burst because of the tight rubber band thing they put on, and plus, they'll put a little cotton swab on directly after they take the needle out, and you'll bleed about three drops out [more or less, doesn't matter. it's never much] and then your blood will naturally clot itself. :] Simple as that.

Ah, well, I didn't graduate in eighth grade, I graduated in sixth grade.
But, does it matter? Well, that's a relative question. Do you want it to matter? If so, then, yeah. It's a big deal.
My sixth grade graduation was a big deal because I was getting out of elementary school. I was going to junior high and high school. I was becoming a small fish in a big pond.
If I were you, would I make eighth grade graduation a big deal? Probably.
