Hi, I'm 14 years old and my mom doesn't allow me to wear thongs!!!! So she makes me buy the regular kind or boy briefs, whatever. ok me and my best friend have been best friends for about 2 years now. During the first year of our friendship she had a crush on this guy and ugly guy who she thinks is hot. On the last day of school that same year he asked her out and they have been going out for over a year. The next year it got worse. her boyfriend was nice to me at first but then he started to kick me and say mean things to me.Later on in the year i could start telling that my so called best friend was getting jealous of me because i had nicer clothes, more friends and had been asked out 6 times and had alot of people thinking i was hot while she was asked out once and only her boyfriend thought she was hot. im in a dilimma right now! ive liked this boy for a long time now, and i was sure we were becoming closer. one day my friend mal was IMing me and said she knew who i liked (even though i never told her)... she was right with her guess. then she said i have some bad news, she liked him too. but she was sure he liked her as more than a friend. it caused a great gap in our friendship and it was a hard time for me. a little while later, mal said she didnt like him anymore and that she liked her old crush again. this made me feel soooo much better! but today, she had told me the boy i had liked was online and asked me if i still liked him... this made me wonder if he had asked her to ask me (if you know what i mean)... well, i guess not because she came out and said that she likes him again. and was being really suspicious by sending me the beginning of their AIM conversation and the end which confused me. it began as just "hey" and "hey" but ended up as .. "best friends forever!" and him saying "you know it". now she's mad at me because she thinks i overreacted for asking her what happened in the conversation. im not sure who is fighting who here, me and mal, or me and my love life. any advice at all would be helpful!

hey im not the best looking guy in the world and im not the smoothest guy in the world but i have a good heart yet i still have a problem gettin girls to see that. and because of that ive fallen into depression because i hate looking in the mirror and i hate not being able to get someone. ive had girlfriends but most of the time when they saw me for the first time they broke up with me the same day (if u couldnt tell they were internet relationships) i have had chances to go out with girls but i ruined it by takin my time and by not takin a risk. i hate being shy and i want to show girls how funny and sweet i can be so maybe ill have a chance. any advice?

u do that and ull stay all balanced and healthy and what not..but notice how the junk food group wasnt mentioned. the less junk food u consume (sodas, candy etc.) the better off ull be.
SELF ESTEEM
never tell urself that ur too fat and lazy to help urself. tell urself "hey i think im losing wieght already id better keep this up" and never tell urself ur ugly causes theres always gonna be sum1 out there who thinks even the prettiest person is ugly..and theres always gonna be sum1 out there who thinks the ugliest person is pretty. its all opinion and once u realize that ur beautiful no matter what ppl say..then ull feel better about urslef and u actually will work harder towards getting in shape and staying that way..and if u feel better about urself then ur automatically more confident and thatll put off a posotive vibe from u in return helping u meet new ppl and..girls..if u appear to be weak and loney and depressed ppl wont want to be around u..so keep up with the jokes and that good sence of humor and soon enuff ull be in shape and lookin good and ull have girls hangin off of u. just realize that u cant do this for two days and just quit..the exercise needs to be at least 5 days a week and the 'diet' needs to be everyday. u wont get results overnight so be patient. sometimes it may be hard but if u just think about how much better things will be once all ur hard work pays off it wont be so entirely difficult.
also the g/f thing..the internet relationships. those are always set up to fail. all those ppl are, are lonley and they want to be able to say they have a bf..theyre just shallow and so is anyone else who wont look at ur extra lbs as exta cusion for a warm hug. sum1 who cant look past wats on the outside to look at wats on the inside isnt worth ur time. i kno uve heard it a thousand times but only cause its true. ur only 15 ..u have ur whole life ahead of u. get in shape now and realize a gf isnt all that matters in life then ur good to go. u dont need a gf to feel loved anyway. u have plenty of friends right here who love u just exactly for who u r.
more on the self esteem thing..speak up. if ur in a group of ppl and u feel like sayin sumthin..say it, dont hold back. if u got a funny joke to tell..tell it..not only will u be the center of attention but ull be makin ppl laugh and ull look confident..definatley a point in the girls' books.
