me vs. best friend
im in a dilimma right now! ive liked this boy for a long time now, and i was sure we were becoming closer. one day my friend mal was IMing me and said she knew who i liked (even though i never told her)... she was right with her guess. then she said i have some bad news, she liked him too. but she was sure he liked her as more than a friend. it caused a great gap in our friendship and it was a hard time for me. a little while later, mal said she didnt like him anymore and that she liked her old crush again. this made me feel soooo much better! but today, she had told me the boy i had liked was online and asked me if i still liked him... this made me wonder if he had asked her to ask me (if you know what i mean)... well, i guess not because she came out and said that she likes him again. and was being really suspicious by sending me the beginning of their AIM conversation and the end which confused me. it began as just "hey" and "hey" but ended up as .. "best friends forever!" and him saying "you know it". now she's mad at me because she thinks i overreacted for asking her what happened in the conversation. im not sure who is fighting who here, me and mal, or me and my love life. any advice at all would be helpful! <3 -me vs. best friend

This is the most common problem that most people have. If you have been friends with this friend of yours for a long time, then it's not worth fighting over a guy like that. But if you're just recently friends then that just proves how much of a friend she really is. To answer your question,that fight has nothing to do with you. Your friend is just trying to compete with you and trying to get to him before you do. Why don't you try asking her why is acting this way. If she keeps giving you that cold shoulder, then I guess you should try making more and better friends. There are plenty girls out there who I bet will be the genuine best friend.

um..hmm. well tell ur friend whats on ir mind, tell her exactly what u wrote..about u liking him and about how it caused a gap. apologize for overreacting (which i dont think u did anyway) and also..talk to that guy. u should tell him how u feel too before she takes him away from you cause i feel like thats what shes trying to do. but i could be wrong..its just wat im gettin here, but also..think about weather ur friend is a true friend or not and if she is, dont lat that boy ruin it for u guys.
