1 cup sugar
1 cup butter, softened
2 cups flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
Food coloring-at least 6 colors (make sure one of them is Red!)
remember - with red, blue and yellow you can make all the other colors.
Mix sugar, butter, egg and vanilla. Add flour and mix well.
Divide dough into six balls.
Add a different food coloring to each ball.
Roll each ball in a snake shape onto a floured surface. This is fun for the kids -- just like playdough!
Arch snake shape and press onto cookie sheet.
Add other snake shapes until the rainbow is formed. (OR! Form a letter R shape with them)
Bake at 350 degrees for 8-15 minutes.

Does anyone know how to make "Rainbow Cookies"? They are the ones with layers of green, pink and yellow, chocolate on top and bottom, and jelly in between. thanks.

OK, this is really wierd, but whenever i look into somewhere dark, i see white blurs in the shapes of people. When i try to get a closer look they disapper. it freaks me out- a lot! when i walk into my room, i see a white blur on my bed in the dark. where can i take this problem? what is this?!
It is probaly a problem with your cones,rods, and pupils in your eyes.

I want to make a pie for my friends on pi day, because it's funny and dorky and this monday (3/14!) but I've never made a pie before. What's the easiest pie to make?
PUMKIN PIE
Ingredients:
1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
2 or 3 eggs
1 1/2 c. evaporated milk
2 c. pumpkin puree
Steps:
1. Put an oven rack in the center of the oven and preheat to 375 degrees F.
2. Put eggs into a food processor or large mixing bowl and whisk well.
3. Add pumpkin, evaporated milk, sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves and salt, and mix. Set aside.
4. Warm the pie crust in the oven until it is hot to the touch.
5. Pour the pumpkin filling into the warmed pie crust and bake about 35 to 40 minutes, or until filling is set but still a bit quivery, like gelatin, when lightly nudged.
6. Cool pie on a rack and refrigerate. Serve either cold, at room temperature or slightly warmed.
Warnings:
If the pie cooks too much, it may crack.
Pumpkin pies do not freeze well.
Pumpkin pie is best served within a day of baking, because the crust will begin to soften after baking.

I think that my daughter (14) has been using drugs. She hasn't had it easy and I haven't really helped that. A few of my old boyfriends hurt her and violated her. I've stopped dating because of it she doesn't deserve that and I don't want that to ever happen to her again. Recently I've been noticing that she's been coming home after 10 (her curfue is 9) and she acts differently. I've tried talking to her and she says that she isn't doing anything and that she just loses track of time. I don't know what to do. I'm not a great mother but I'm trying as hard as I can. Does anyone know how I could talk to her about this or how I can help her if she really needs it?

Hey. Today is my friend's b-day. He's turning 16, and we've been friends for about 12 or so years. (yeah, it's a lot lol) Well, I kind of don't know what to get him. I'm not sure what he likes. My friend and I have this suggestion. There is a pic of me and him when we were about 4, and since I have doubles, we were thinking about getting a nice picture frame to put it in. I met a guy at a club and i went up to him first and danced all nite w/him and he asked for my number first. An hour after the club he called me saying he still wanted to chill with me, but i said im pretty tired for the nite, so he said to call him later on the day. So i called him, and we chilled for a little at the beach. But soon after he had to go and said that he had run arrands with his friends and if me and my friends were still at the beach later on to call him, other wise he can always visit me in LA since he lives in SD and he visits LA ocassionally. Any way almost a week is up and he still hasnt called me but acouple of days ago i text him saying, hello and what he has been up to.. he text me back an hour later saying that sorry for not getting back, hes been busy but he'll call me later. Its been 2-3 days since that text and he still hasnt called back. I called him today but got his voicemail. so what should i expect or do? he isnt interested, just just let it go..?

Today this girl that I really don't like, but hang out with anyways, asked to see a note that my best friend had wrote me, that said stuff about her in it. ALOT of stuff. I said no because it was mine and she had no right seeing it, she took my purse dumped it out on the floor but I hid it in my desk, and then she randomly got into my desk and found it, I didn't want her to see it, and now I'm afraid my best friend's going to be mad at me, but I'm not sure because I really didn't do anything wrong, right?
No its not your fault! you tried to stop her so she shouldn't be mad at you for anything. If she goes through your stuff (im assuming this happened at school) tell the principal or someone in the office that she went through your stuff without permission!
