Belly Button Ring
Hi, im 13, and i REALLY want my belly button pierced. Im not scared of the pain, because people say it doesnt hurt. But the problem is my mum. She says I cant have it. But i REAAALLY want to. Can i do it at home somehow? Please help me I want my mum to say yes, so I can have a belly button ring. Alot of my friends have it.

hrmmmm well i wouldn't do it myself it could get infected and then your mom really won't go for the idea. i want one too but my mom said i have to weight. ask your mom why you can't get one then try and reason wit her. tell her its no big deal and if it gets infected it won't kill me. but don't say all my friend have one yeah they don't go for that they will just be like i don't care about all your friends i care about you. yeah there weird like that. just ask her why you can't have one and if she says its your age then ask her when you can get one and don't get mad it'll just make it worse.

I would say that you are a little bit young for this, maybe wait another year to make sure that you are really sure this is what you want, there are some really good magnetic rings on the market so maybe you could try one of those first. If you still really want to go ahead make sure you research the person who is going to do it cause remember you are stuck with it for life so you want it done right.

Really, really, really trust me when I say not to do it yourself. It's unhealthy, you could do something wrong and hurt yourself, and your parents could find out and you'd be in more trouble than when you started.
Wait until you're older. I know it sounds dumb, but just because your friends have it doesn't mean you need it. In 10 years, will it matter? Wait. And don't do it yourself.

i hope you dont want any kids bcuz if they ppl pierce it in a certain way it punctures the umbilical cord and the baby wont live! thats what my sister just told me! and by the way your only 13! my god you DONT need it done!

show her your responsible! dont do it without her permission, you could mess it up or something and get it infected and itll cause lots of pain. just dont bug her about it cause thatll make her mad and shell continue to say no.

Okay well you're right, it doesn't really hurt.. but during the first like weeks you get it done, it's veryy painful if anything hits it. Also, once when i was at the beach mine ripped out. Sometime's it's not a good idea to get your belly button pierced. DO NOT do it at home! it will probably get infected, especially if you don't know how to do it righT! Ask your mom if there is anything you can do to let you get your belly button pierced!

You shouldn't do it at home. You would be at higher risk of it getting infected. Get it done by a professioanl at a tattoo and piercing type shop. Since your mom says no, You will have to wait until your 18. Don't feel like your the only left out, I am 16 and I can't get any piercings until I am 18 too. You can get some fake belly botton rings to wear.

well i don't think you could do it at home i would go to like a tatoo palor that does piercings and stuff like that even if you could do it at home i wouldn't because it could get infected if you went to get it done professonial you would have a less chance of it getting infected maybe do something that shows your mom of how responable you are maybe she will change her mind about letting you get a belly button ring. good luck
