My hair is dry && damaged. How do I get it to have that soft sorta oily coating on it to make it smooth. I've tried Treseme, Garnier, Herbal Essance, and Pantene and I still have hair that feels like straw!!
try some deep conditioning stuff, you may need more than just normal shampoo/conditioner. garnier fructis has a three minute conditioner stuff for your type of hair, so you could try that. infusium 23 is also great, they have many different things. i know you've tried herbal essences too, but you should try their leave in conditioner after showering. sorry i can't really think of anything else!

I've had my period for two years now. It's verrrrry irregular. It will skip months and come anytime during the month. I've gone 3 months with out my period. I never know when it's going to show up. I've heard that sometimes if you're skinny that might have something to do with it. I'm like 5'6 and i weigh 105 pounds. Do you think it has anything to do with it? What do you think i should do? i'm not sure if your weight would affect it. all i know is that for the first two or three years it's going to be irregular; mine still isn't completely right and i've had it for four and a half years. if it's that messed up though, you can go on the pill and it will help regulate it. if you don't want to mess with taking that, all you can do is be prepared for whenever it will come and hope it becomes normal later on.

i don't think you can actually speed it up, if you could we'd all be doing that. the only way you can effect your period is by being stressed out, sick, or not eating normally and those things will delay it by a little bit.

for my hair, thermasilk works great. i also use the cheap suave, somehow that works for me, i dunno. and like everyone else has said, garnier fructis works great, especially if you get the three minute conditioner stuff to use afterwards. or you can straighten your hair, that makes it really silky too. sorry i didn't help much, that's really all i know of.

if you both love each other, there's no reason for you to get hurt. not all relationships end badly, this could be the real thing. and even if it doesn't work out in the end, at least you experienced your first love, which is the best feeling ever. don't worry about the getting hurt part, just focus on you and him being in love together and enjoy it.

Well Its always been my dream to make a cd and have it in stores and like all that stuff! well I have gotten this offer and I can get this thing its like a record deal.. you make a cd and everything and it goes in stores ALL over the world.. but its just to see how many people will like you.. and id make about $7,000.. which is like nothing.. but if alot of people got my cd.. Id get an actualy record deal and more money.. so my question is.. Should I go for that or should I just make a demo and send it to a bunch of record lables and then try to get signed by a big record lable?

i'd definitely take that offer, it's a great opportunity! so you don't make that much, it's still a good learning experience with the business and you'll get a lot of exposure. if people do like you, then you'll get an actual record deal, so you're skipping a step by doing this instead of sending a demo to record labels. good luck to you!

I've been friends with the same group of people since I moved here(8th grade). I'm not a junior in highschool and just about fed up with the way they all act. I mean, don't get me wrong, they're great friends but well...act pretty slutty at times. Actually, they don't act like sluts...they are sluts. They are they typical "popular slutty cheerleaders" and I don't want that to reclect back on me becasue I'm not like that. I want to stop hanging out with them but I don't want to just be like "hey, I don't like you guys anymore...see ya around." What should I do?
Make new friends or join some clubs, and slowly just move away from the old ones, like you "don't have time for them" anymore or the one "you're going separate ways". If they keep bothering you, you can't be polite about it, just tell them you don't wanna be friends. It's going to suck, but you have to do it to get out of being friends.

Around here, jobs offered for 15-16 year olds include grocery stores as like a bagger, the local icecream shop, restaurants as bus boys, and fast food places like Subway. As for other ways to earn money, you could like mow lawns, babysit, walk peoples' dogs.. Kind of the same stuff as always, I couldn't really think of anything better. But good luck in getting a job!

There's no exact way to do it, you just lean in, tilt your head to the side so you don't bump noses, and kinda rub your lips in with his! It's nervewracking to think about right now, but when the time comes you'll kind of automatically know how to do it, you know? And you don't really know if you're a good kisser or not, unless the other person tells you. No one's bad at kissing, just the person you're kissing might not like your style. But that doesn't mean the next person will hate it, they may like it! And I'm sure guys would love it if a girl made the first move, well some anyway. Others it may freak them out that you're so forward. Hope I helped!!

i skipped all of my workout classes for the past month cause i've been sick. yesterday i came back, worked out SO hard, now my muscles are so sore that i could hardly get out of the bed. i want to know what is the best thing to do (esp. for my legs, they hurt so bad)...
a) rest for the next couple days and do nothing until they feel better
b) keep working the muscles, continue running and conditioning today

Keep working the muscles! It'll hurt like heck, but you need to. Your muscles will hurt for about a week or so, but after that it'll stop, and if you kept working out the whole time it shouldn't happen again.

Hello everyone, how can you know if it is really love or not. There's this guy who I have a crush on for four years plus already and I still can't forget him. Whenever I see him last time and he goes near me, my mind can't think anything. It's like my mind is saying say something say something but I can't think of anything to say. Now, I'm worried about him and I don't know if this is really love. If it is, could it be possible that love exist at my age? I'm 16. And could it be possible that you love someone you don't know really that much?
If you have to question whether you are in love or not, you probably aren't. Seriously, it sounds cliche but you'll honestly just know, when the time comes. I do think it's possible to fall in love at a young age, I'm only 15 and I am, but I don't really think it's possible to love someone you don't know all that much. You may think you are, and you can't stop thinking about them, but you can't have that special connection (the connection you have when you're in love, if you know what I mean) with that other person, if you don't know them. Sorry if that didn't make sense.. But good luck! If you got to know him and became friends, maybe it'll turn into something!

It isn't cheating if you didn't do anything with him, but you still need to tell your boyfriend what's going on. It shouldn't be a big deal, but you need to be honest with him. And maybe you should rethink this relationship, since you think of Diego everytime you say you love him.

Whenever you're ready, there's no set age limit. But I wouldn't push it, 16-17 is the minimum age I'd do it, and that's only if you're ready and you love and know the other person very well and can handle the risks of getting pregnant and such.

It depends what look you're going for. An updo would look more fun, like with a billion bobby pins all over the place and hair twisting (the awesome ways salons do that). But if you're going for elegant, have it down in long, flowy mermaid waves if you get what I mean. Either way it looks gorgeous!
