MELiixMARiiE answered Monday July 4 2005, 2:49 pm: Well my hair used to be the same exact way and it might be that way because if you use a straightener and you use it alot, then all the heat is drying up your hair and giving you that straw like look.. but after I got V05, my hair's been fine.. but a few days ago, I got this shampoo stuff that's only for blonde's.. I think it's called " Sheer Blonde " ( they have it for brunettes and redheads too..) and my hair is REALLY soft and stuff. =) So try the stuff I use.. and Thermasilk is really good to because it's also heat-activated so whenever you dry your hair or stragihten it works. Hoep I helped!!

xOtWiXi answered Sunday July 3 2005, 11:35 pm: I`ve tried so many brands as well =] My aunt recently had really dry&&damaged hair, and what worked for her [well I have done it before too lol ] was putting on a LOAD of conditioner before even shampooing. And even before going in the shower, either use regular conditioner on dry hair and let it sit for a while in a shower cap or down on like a robe, or buy a leave in conditioner. It truly helps! Hope I`ve Helped ♥

Tinkerbelle answered Sunday July 3 2005, 7:02 pm: try some deep conditioning stuff, you may need more than just normal shampoo/conditioner. garnier fructis has a three minute conditioner stuff for your type of hair, so you could try that. infusium 23 is also great, they have many different things. i know you've tried herbal essences too, but you should try their leave in conditioner after showering. sorry i can't really think of anything else! askmex3 answered Sunday July 3 2005, 6:36 pm: ask your hair dresser for some products because most salon shampoos/conditioners work really good! but theyre more expensive then stuff from the drug store! also try some kind of product to use before you flat iron or curl your hair (if you do that) because heat damage will make your hair feel sorta like straw..hope this helps &hearts [ askmex3's advice column | Ask askmex3 A Question ]
therocketsummer answered Sunday July 3 2005, 6:31 pm: I use Pantene, and It's helped my hair. Try different kinda of Pantene, I use the green labeled one, the "Silky and Smooth" one. Also, I have this stuff called Biosilk, and you put it in your hair before you straighten it and it protects it from gettign damged from the heat of the straightener. it also makes your hair REALLY soft!.
