period, very irregular I've had my period for two years now. It's verrrrry irregular. It will skip months and come anytime during the month. I've gone 3 months with out my period. I never know when it's going to show up. I've heard that sometimes if you're skinny that might have something to do with it. I'm like 5'6 and i weigh 105 pounds. Do you think it has anything to do with it? What do you think i should do? Thanks.

i had the same thing happen and sometimes its not normal. i thought the same thing when it happened to me but my doctor said if it stays irregular that long it can give u like bone problems and stuff. They gave me this medicine that helps make it regular to prevent any problems ]
Idk...some people are just diff. Its not going to b smooth the 1st couple of years but from what i've heard...its normal. AsH! ]
nah
actually its nice if you skip... i do it too that just annoys me when i have mine ]
yea if your like really skinny it will be like that but getting put on the pill is supose to regulate your period.....you can go to your gyn doctor or your local health department should be able to do it for free and w/ out your parents finding out .... diffrent states may have diffrent rules though...i live in tenn. and it is free here in my home town... ]
I've heard that for the first year or two your period might not be regular. I think you should tell ure doctor though, just in case its a problem. I'm not sure if it has to do with your weight, but that is possible. If your very thin, and your body cant 'afford' to have you lose blood every month than your period may stop. Id deffinetly go to the doctor though. Good Luck! -- Kate ]
it doesnt always have to do with your height or weight usually this happens around the time where you are at right now it goes irregular and then slowly back to normal
if your still worried try seeing a doctor
hope i helped if you need anything else feel free to ask! ]
no no it shouldn't be because youre skinny because i'm skinny 2 and nothing is goin on. usually the first part of when you start youre period is very irregular (not for all people but for some) and you really can't do anything about it, but if it continues like this for years to come you should see your doctor and make sure it isn't something else. ]
Your weight shouldn`t have anything to do with it, but it might be a factor sometimes. For the first couple years of having your period, usually it is extrememly irregular, so don`t worry, most likely it is okay. If you still feel uncomfortable, go see your doctor and tell your doctor what`s going on, but most likely, they will tell you the exact same thing I`m saying =] Hope I`ve Helped ♥ ]
I haven't heared of that being because of you being skinny. I guess it could be that but you never know. I think you might want to go to the doctorand ask. it is better to be safe than sorry. I hope that you find out what is wrong. ]
go to a doctor. if you want to you can go on the pill it should sort everything out just talk to your doctor about it. ]
If you go through a time when you're not eating enough, your body gets to a point where your period stops. But it could be up to 7 months before you get it again, and then you'llbe back to normal. Its normal the first few y ears for your period to be irregular and not always come at the exact same time. But if you are truly concerned, talk to your dr. ]
i'm not sure if your weight would affect it. all i know is that for the first two or three years it's going to be irregular; mine still isn't completely right and i've had it for four and a half years. if it's that messed up though, you can go on the pill and it will help regulate it. if you don't want to mess with taking that, all you can do is be prepared for whenever it will come and hope it becomes normal later on. ]
your peorid skipping may mean your anemic (sp?)that means that you dont eat healthy so your body cant make (skipping period )or replace your blood and it also cant make your blood come out at normal timming (comming in differnt times of the months)
well i hope i helped and if you have ne more quistions drop em in my inbox ]
oh my, yes i really think it has something to do with your weight. same thing happens to people that are anorexic or very athletic. i think you should see a doctor to see what you can do...its not healthy to skip. <3 ]
Eh. In YOUR case I don't think youR weight should have THAT much of an affect on this situation. HOWEVER.. I'm also NOOOO medical expeRt, so it is my opinion that you seek a professional's opinion on this. AfteR all, betteR safe than soRRie, Right?? :)
Hope eveRything woRks out!! ]
