Older, and different

Question Posted Sunday July 3 2005, 5:45 am

This past year, my hair was wavy/curly (as it naturally is) and always up in a ponytail or bun with tons of frizz. 2 days ago, I got a ceramic straightener. Other than straigtening my hair, what can I do to segregate myself from myself in the past? Also, how can I look older without being a slut or looking like my mom? I'm entering high school and that means hot guys!!

just because you're entering high school, doesn't mean you have to change yourself so drastically at one time. try little changes and work your way up. you can still wear your hair it's natural way, people at my school do it all the time, and sometimes that's when their hair looks their best. if you don't wear make-up, but a light lip gloss on, small amount of eyeliner and mascara, if you already do wear make-up, then tone it down a little. as far as fashion goes, i would suggest cute skirts about 4-6 inches above the knee, not so much jeans all the time.

Well, you said that you are streightening your hair right? so do some more to it also. Maybe give it some color. to look older you could get more mature clothes, I don't mean granny clothes, but more like dress pants instead of jeans. But if you really want a guy that you will like and that will like you back, you might want to be your self. Hope I helped!

haha, that sounds like me, except i'm not so worried what other people think of me. just dress more mature, shop at older stores like forever21 and express, that alone will make you look a bit older.

You can have the whole back out and then at the top it can be in twisties or in braids. Or i dont know if you like it but you can do your har like in the back out and in the front it has the bump or lump i think you've heard of it or saw i before. That's cute on many people. - any more questions ask me.
